Mu Anhan got up early and drove to the countryside.
Yang Lili’s ho was in a very remote village. She said she was a friend of Yang Lili from the city, and she wanted to walk around the place where Yang Lili had lived.
The village chief led her there and chatted with her along the way.

"Her parents even said what’s the point of being educated if she can’t make money like Lili. Lili bought her family a big villa in the city and a rcedes, while the girls in our county rush to marry Lili’s brother."
The village chief took Mu Anhan to Yang Lili’s old ho in the countryside. It hadn’t been inhabited for years, exposed to the elents and in disrepair, almost on the verge of collapse.
The small earthen-walled house next door was Zhao Sixue’s parents’ ho.
There were also three brick-and-tile houses built for her brother’s marriage.
Mu Anhan took so cigarettes, wine, and tea from the bodyguard and gave them to Zhao Sixue’s parents.
Zhao Sixue’s parents praised Yang Lili for making big money and giving their family a good life, while continually criticizing their own daughter.
"Yang Lili was also a teacher. Her salary was still limited, so how could she buy a villa and a luxury car in the city?" Mu Anhan asked.
Zhao’s mother’s eyes flickered a bit, "I heard she found a wealthy man!"
"Do you know who he is?" Mu Anhan looked at her.
"I don’t know," Zhao’s mother shook her head, "Even Lili’s biological parents don’t know who he is! Could it be that he killed Lili?"
"I don’t know either. I’m sure the police will figure it out," Mu Anhan said as she prepared to leave, seeing no other clues, "Actually, Zhao Sixue may be a humble teacher, but she is genuinely educating people. She deserves the respect of all of us."
