She didn’t finish her sentence, but Firebird understood.

"Understood," Mu Anhan and Xue Xiangtong replied together.

"Stay safe." Firebird instructed Xue Xiangtong again, "You have a gun; make sure to protect Mrs. Gu."

The two of them went out together, taking the bureau’s business car.
The two arrived at the new housing developnt under the Gu Family, and Xue Xiangtong found the security guard. She didn’t say she was a police officer, only that she was from the community committee, and asked him if he had seen Yang Lili.
She showed him a picture of Yang Lili, and he shook his head, "I’ve never seen her."
