Feels like Li Jingsheng is too full of himself.

A clinic doctor should treat the health station like Boss Zhao does, with ’reverence’.

"Dr. Li is an ’expert’ personally invited by our station chief, surely he’s made more than a minor discovery. Hurry up and share your insights so we can all learn sothing."

A female doctor in her fifties spoke with an even stronger tone of sarcasm.

They say never to ss with a woman going through nopause.

Fifty, almost exactly the age of nopause for won.

"I wouldn’t dare call myself an expert! May I ask who is in charge of the patient?"

Li Jingsheng intentionally avoided the female doctor with hair slicked down with gel and sunken cheeks.

Seeing her eyebrows completely plucked, leaving only a thin line, she looked formidable, like an Extinction event waiting to happen.

"I’m the attending physician."

The female doctor replied directly.

"So you’re Dr. Zha, my apologies." Li Jingsheng was surprised to find Dr. Zha was a woman, he had always thought it was a male doctor. "Has the patient’s blood calcium been checked?"

"No!"

The female doctor shook her head.

"Has the blood oxygen been checked?"

"It hasn’t. The patient has abdominal pain due to excessive drinking. Checking blood calcium makes so sense, but why check blood oxygen? Just doing a routine blood test is good enough, don’t you all agree?"

She was clearly getting angry.

"Right, right, we usually only do routine blood tests. There’s no need to add unrelated tests and increase the patient’s financial burden."

A young male doctor chid in supportively from the side.

Other doctors also nodded in agreent.

Standing together, united against outsiders, is human nature.

The doctors at the health station were certainly collectively maintaining Dr. Zha’s dignity.

"And what about blood sugar? Surely, that has been tested?"

"Blood sugar was tested once when the patient was admitted, normal. It’s about 6.5mmol/L."

Dr. Zha answered this ti straightforwardly.

"Then I suggest rechecking the patient’s blood sugar, and also check the blood oxygen, blood calcium, and if possible, themoglobin."

Li Jingsheng provided his suggestion.

"First, tell us your diagnostic reasoning! If we find it convincing, we’ll naturally adopt your suggestion. Young man, no offense, but our health station is a formal hospital, very different from your clinic. Every diagnostic procedure we do strictly follows regulations, unlike the casual thods in your clinics."

Dr. Zha asserted her authority.

Doctors like this are everywhere, especially in smaller hospitals where they emphasize their ’high’ level, formality, and authority.

Particularly those in their fifties and sixties, with decades of clinical experience, often believe their skills are not inferior to chief physicians in big hospitals.

Boss Zhao’s expression didn’t change; this guy is really sly.

Boss Ye listened with a face turned cold, but didn’t get angry.

"The patient’s white blood cell count is more than double the normal level, and along with the persistent high fever, abdominal rigidity, severe abdominal pain, cold extremities, and abdominal pain after drinking, I believe any two of these symptoms alone fully justify the tests for blood calcium, blood sugar, and blood oxygen."

Li Jingsheng said this without a smile on his face.

His voice was loud.

If not for the other party’s old age, he would have wanted to curse.

The patient’s condition had significantly worsened compared to two days ago, yet this female doctor kept insisting the health station was the authority, the formal dical institution.

What a way to save face at one’s own expense.

If you’re so capable, why call doctors from three clinics for help!

"Are you... teaching us how to do our work?"

Dr. Zha was so angry that her face turned white.

"No, I’m rely offering a suggestion. You’re treating the patient, whether to adopt it or not is entirely up to you."

Were it not for Station Chief Qiao’s sake, Li Jingsheng would have walked away by now.

He despised this bureaucratic and seniority-driven attitude the most.

"Han Qing, imdiately check the patient’s blood oxygen."

Station Chief Qiao directly instructed the young doctor who had been actively supporting.

asuring blood oxygen is not difficult.

It doesn’t take long.

"Okay, I’ll go right away!"

The young doctor nad Han Qing seed to be quite close to Dr. Zha.

He was assisting Dr. Zha just a mont ago.

The people continued discussing the patient’s condition in the consultation room. The health station had seven or eight internal dicine doctors, with only three being more senior.

Dr. Zha belonged to the older age group.

Their discussions tended to lean toward gastrointestinal disease, and even suspected gallstones.

Boss Zhao, however, did not offend anyone and rely echoed opinions.

Boss Ye didn’t participate in the discussion at all.

Traditional Chinese dicine was actually quite marginalized.

For instance, in consultations, most of the ti it’s Western dicine, including chief physicians and experts; those with high status are mostly purely Western dical professionals.

The two are not even on the sa theoretical frawork, making discussions sowhat futile.

After she ca, she probably only ntioned the problem with the patient’s middle burner and then just peacefully sat there like a goddess, purely a listener.

"Chief, the patient’s blood oxygen is only 91%."

Han Qing jogged back.

The ward was on the second floor, the consultation room on the first.

The distance wasn’t far, but rushing back left him panting.

"Are you sure about the asurent?"

Station Chief Qiao’s face turned serious.

"asured twice, the blood oxygen seems to be trending downward."

Han Qing almost swore by the heavens.

The chief apparently doubted his capability!

Young doctors, being impulsive, indeed find it hard to gain trust.

"Imdiately check the patient’s blood calcium and recheck the blood sugar."

Station Chief Qiao didn’t even give Dr. Zha the chance to discuss.
