A doctor like Professor Wu, excellent in both academics and research, has beco quite sought after.

The wound is slightly red and swollen, which is a normal phenonon.

The surgery was just completed yesterday, so it will take a few days to gradually recover.

Li Jingsheng noticed that the wound was sutured using a vertical mattress technique.

The suturing level was... not much better than his own.

Who was the doctor that did the suturing?

It certainly wasn’t done by Professor Wu personally.

Otherwise, if a chief physician sutured like this, it would be quite shocking.

Li Jingsheng’s current level in vertical mattress suturing is at the proficient level, equivalent to a senior resident’s level.

In theory, an excellent attending surgeon should basically be able to achieve this suturing level.

If a chief performs at a resident’s level, then that chief might be quite overrated.

"The wound is sutured well, no issues whatsoever. The tibial bone cent in the lower limb’s knee might cause local discomfort, but it shouldn’t lead to the patient being comatose... What did she eat this morning and noon?"

Professor Wu appeared calm on the surface but was frowning deeply.

He was likely quite panicked internally.

To be honest, such situations are extrely rare in orthopedic surgery.

"My mother had soy milk and buns for breakfast, and green beans with at, cabbage, and lotus root stew with ribs for lunch. All bought from the hospital cafeteria, there shouldn’t be any issue."

The patient’s daughter was already a graceful young lady.

Wearing faded sky-blue jeans and a light yellow short-sleeved shirt with white polka dots. Her hair tied in a ponytail, there was no trace of makeup on her face, just the remnants of tears.

Tears still lingered in her eyes, her eyes slightly red.

Judging from her youthful face, she seed to be at most around twenty years old.

No other family mbers were seen.

She was the only one by the bedside.

Her mother’s sudden critical condition made her extrely terrified and anxious, as she had not really been through the trials of society yet. She could only use crying to relieve her anxiety and sadness.

"Professor Wu, do you think the patient might have been poisoned by the green beans?"

Ruan Xiaoqin, with his sharp features, offered his opinion from the side.

"This possibility cannot be ruled out. Did the patient exhibit symptoms like vomiting or dizziness before falling comatose?"

Professor Wu asked the family mber and the attending doctor.

"She vomited and also complained about chest tightness and overall discomfort."

The attending doctor responded.

"After breakfast, my mom started feeling unwell and kept saying she felt chest discomfort. Then she vomited. She barely ate lunch; the green beans seed to be finished."

The family mber confird the vomiting symptom.

Professor Wu’s facial muscles twitched twice, vomiting after the buns, yet she hadn’t even eaten the green beans by that ti, so how could it be poisoning?

"Are you certain the vomiting occurred after breakfast?"

"Yes! After lunch, my mom retched twice but nothing ca out."

"Then it shouldn’t be green bean poisoning."

Professor Wu turned to Ruan Xiaoqin.

"Dr. Ruan, after the patient vomited post-breakfast, did you examine her?"

"Checked her temperature, 38.6 degrees, heart rate over 120 beats per minute."

Most adults have a heart rate between 60 to 100, which slows with age.

For a woman in her forties, without heart problems, her heart rate should be around sixty or seventy beats per minute when stable.

Clearly, there is tachycardia now.

"Based on her symptoms and family descriptions, considering the patient felt stifled and uncomfortable last night, opened the window, and slept by it all night, catching a cold seed quite likely. So, I prescribed her so antipyretics."

Ruan Xiaoqin’s handling was too casual.

In such cases, if you’re unsure, you should report to an upper-level doctor.

"Can a cold cause a sudden coma in a patient? You were too careless."

Professor Wu turned a shade darker after hearing this.

At over fifty years old, he should have considerable clinical experience.

He realized things were not good.

The patient likely began showing evident symptoms this morning, or perhaps even felt unwell last night.

Negligence is truly fatal!

"Hey, go get Director Hua imdiately."

Professor Wu turned to Li Jingsheng.

Even at such a ti, he didn’t miss the chance to put Li Jingsheng in his place.

"It’s recomnded to imdiately put the patient on a ventilator; if we delay, it might be too late for resuscitation."

Having watched the patient for a long ti, Li Jingsheng was now fully aware of the patient’s treatnt course and realized that the patient was most likely facing a rapidly progressing fatal disease.

He had experience working in the Pulmonary dicine and Ergency departnts at the First Hospital and had so resuscitation experience.

Coupled with his Minor Achievent level in Pulmonary dicine diagnostics and Master Level in Cardiovascular dicine diagnostics, after a preliminary diagnosis of the patient, though he hadn’t found the cause, he was sure that putting her on a ventilator wouldn’t be a mistake.

"Director Wu is here directing the resuscitation, do we need you, a resident doctor, to ddle? Hurry up and go."

Ruan Xiaoqin scolded him.

Watching the patient’s condition worsen, Ruan Xiaoqin knew he had made a grave mistake.

His mood was at rock bottom.

Having Li Jingsheng go call for help now, he was still acting high and mighty, giving them resuscitation advice. Who did he think he was?

This new doctor was really out of line.

He truly didn’t know his place.

"Professor Wu, can you take a look at the patient’s fingertips, they’ve already started turning cyanotic, which is a clear sign of hypoxemia. Combined with the patient’s rapidly declining blood pressure, high heart rate, and high fever, we must prepare the ventilator; otherwise, it might be too late."
