"I think your views on marriage really suit my taste!" She might have felt that this could be easily misunderstood, so she hurriedly corrected. "Ahem! I an your views on marriage and romance aren’t outdated at all."

Li Jingsheng looked at her with a smile.

The more she tried to explain, the worse it got.

Under his gaze, a blush quietly appeared on her delicate cheeks.

Always suppressed by her aura, with yin prevailing over yang, at this mont, Li Jingsheng had sothing of a small victory.

At the very least, he had at least slightly dampened her arrogance.

Her off-the-cuff remark caused a subtle ripple.

After all, they were both single, seed to get along well, and it was easy for him to misunderstand her as being interested in him.

Li Jingsheng naturally knew it was rely a slip of the tongue.

But he was happy to see her a bit embarrassed.

After all, from the mont she greeted him, Li Jingsheng had been flustered, showing unusual nervousness and awkwardness, with her dominating the interaction.

At this mont, he realized that not only do n act strangely in front of outstanding and beautiful girls.

Even girls can have monts of nervousness and shyness in front of n.

Seeing her face getting redder, with her eyes evasive, he knew he couldn’t watch this scene unfold any longer.

He needed to quickly step in to help her out.

Otherwise, she might just say goodbye and leave.

"What are your views on marriage and romance? I’ve heard that beautiful girls don’t lack male companions."

He casually helped her out.

"Pah!"

She fiercely rolled her eyes at Li Jingsheng.

"What kind of logic is that? It’s true that beautiful girls don’t lack suitors, but that doesn’t an they sleep around, okay? I’ve only been in one relationship my entire life..."

Perhaps realizing she revealed her dating history in haste, she quickly stopped talking.

Li Jingsheng chuckled inwardly; now the topic and the atmosphere seed to be under his control.

"Sorry, maybe I wasn’t clear enough. I didn’t an to discriminate against you or any other beautiful girls. I just simply think that humans are visual creatures, and it’s easier for attractive girls or handso guys to find partners."

Upon hearing Li Jingsheng’s explanation, she also realized she had overreacted a bit.

Her expression softened considerably.

"When you find a partner, is appearance your priority?"

She picked up her cup and took a light sip.

Her bright eyes fixed on Li Jingsheng, waiting for his reply.

"Ghost Valley Master once said, to judge a form by its appearance is like viewing a leopard through a tube. When I look for a partner, of course, she has to suit my eyes first, but she doesn’t have to be extrely beautiful, as long as she’s kind and responsible, that’s better than anything. Haha... don’t make fun of , with my conditions, in this era where there are more n than won, I actually don’t even have the qualifications to be choosy."

After hearing Li Jingsheng’s answer, her gaze turned gentle.

Her face showed a slight mysterious smile, "You do have a sense of self-awareness! But I think your conditions aren’t bad at all; at least I think you are righteous, kind, and motivated. You wanted to know my views on marriage and romance, right? I admire the heavens..."

It was apparent that she was quite satisfied with Li Jingsheng’s answer.

Just as she was about to discuss her views on marriage, two custors walked in.

She imdiately stopped talking.

A thirty-four or thirty-five-year-old woman with a six or seven-year-old boy ca in.

The boy had a strap tied to his left forearm, and his left hand was bloody and raw.

"Doctor, my son hurt his hand while cutting fruit. Can you treat it here?"

"Let take a look!"

Li Jingsheng was invigorated; a big case had arrived!

Stitching wounds might be a common small surgery at a big hospital, but at Li Jingsheng’s small clinic, it was a rare event, possibly not even once a month.

Donning his white coat, Li Jingsheng began examining the boy’s injuries.

He thought that the female orthopedic doctor would get up to leave, but surprisingly, she didn’t.

Instead, she calmly sat there drinking her tea.

This made Li Jingsheng feel a little smug.

It showed that their previous conversation had a certain attraction for her.

The beautiful doctor was present, and he couldn’t let her see him ss up; he had to use his true skills to make this case successful.

The boy had a skirt belt tied around his left forearm.

The family knew a bit about first aid, using it to temporarily stop the bleeding by tying it near the heart.

"Who tied this strap? It’s quite professional! In such ergencies, thinking of this thod to stop the bleeding is very good."

Li Jingsheng praised.

This was actually a common communication tactic, praising the family’s asures to stop the bleeding on one hand, so they might use it again in similar situations; on the other, gaining the family’s goodwill for smoother communication moving forward.

Even securing this case.

"I read so first aid knowledge in books. The child’s father was on a night shift, and when I saw his hand injured like that, I was almost scared to death. Luckily, I learned a bit of first aid knowledge, grabbed a belt, and imdiately tied it."

The child’s mother explained the situation.

Her face showed worry mixed with a hint of relief and pride.

"You did really well! Staying calm and recalling learned first aid knowledge in such situations is excellent."

Amidst the conversation, Li Jingsheng had already examined the boy’s wound.

"This happened while cutting fruit, not holding it firmly and accidentally slicing his hand, right? The wound is quite deep, over 4 cm – that’s really dangerous!"

The boy’s face was still wet with tears.

He pouted and remained silent.

"Did you hear what the doctor said? What if you end up with a disabled hand?"

"Waaah..."

The boy, already feeling wronged and scared from the injury, burst into tears upon his mother’s reprimand.

Large beads of tears rolled down his young face.

"Little buddy, don’t cry, don’t cry. You are a little man; crying isn’t brave! Next ti when using knives or scissors, you must be careful for safety, alright?" Li Jingsheng’s words were effective.

The boy really stopped crying.

Though his face still had a look of grievance, his little eyes occasionally stole glances at his mom beside him, filled with fear.

"Upon preliminary examination, no major blood vessels were injured, and the wound lacks significant nerves; it’s a fortunate misfortune. I can clean the wound, stitch to stop bleeding, and administer a tetanus shot to prevent infection."

Li Jingsheng was most worried about major blood vessels being severed or nerves getting cut, which would an he’d have to refer them to a large hospital.

Luckily, fortune favored him, and he could handle this case.

"As long as it can be treated and won’t leave any residual effects, that’s good."

The child’s mother felt relieved hearing this.

"What kind of residual effects are you concerned about?"

"Like the fingers not being able to move, or not being as agile as before."

"Typically, that shouldn’t happen."

Li Jingsheng kept his words careful.

In case the wound healed with hand function issues, he wouldn’t be leaving himself vulnerable.

"Will it leave an unsightly scar?"

"A child’s skin regenerates well. As long as you follow dical advice and prevent infection, any scarring should fade within a year or two. However, if your child has scar-prone skin, then there’s no guarantee."

Had Li Jingsheng still been at his previous poor suturing level, he wouldn’t be able to answer this question with such confidence.

Now, having learned various suturing thods and advanced his skills to a proficient level, handling this small wound is absolutely no problem.
