Kyra’s POV
He kept kissing , and the softness of his lips, combined with the gentleness of his kiss, was making my sanity drift away. It was so easy for him to push his tongue into my mouth and play with mine. He tasted every corner of my mouth as if claiming as his property. My body had beco paralyzed and... aroused. The dream I had before seeing him in the pool area flashed in my mind, and it didn’t help. The lust intensified, and I felt like I could explode at any minute.

Wearing a comfortable dress, I visited my doctor, who examined and gave another set of vitamins for a healthy pregnancy. She was the sa doctor I had seen when I discovered I was pregnant, so I was already comfortable with her.
"Your pup is strong," she said, pressing the ultrasound wand to my belly. The rapid thump-thump of the heartbeat filled the room, making Sylvia whine with maternal pride.
"You’re doing just great, Luna Kyra. Continue taking care of yourself."
"Don’t call that—I’m Miss Monroe now." I smiled and thanked her. She handed the pregnancy report and the vitamins I needed.
"Thank you so much, doctor. I’ll go ahead."
I was beyond happy because I was able to hear the heartbeat of my pup today, and I thought nothing could ruin my happiness—until I saw two people coming out of another OB-GYN’s office.
My lips parted as I slowed down. Nathan and Sophia were together, and Nathan was comforting Sophia about not being able to conceive this ti.
I swallowed hard. He hadn’t been ready to have a pup when we were together, but now he seed excited.
I sucked in a breath and turned away to stay out of sight until they left, but I bumped into a nurse and dropped the pregnancy report and my vitamins.
I knelt to pick them up, but soone grabbed them before I could.
"Kyra..." Nathan’s voice filled my ears, shocking even more.
So much for avoiding them!
