The Cultivators of the Cultivation World weren’t particularly resistant or surprised by the new features appearing on their phones. They were simply curious about what these new functions could do.
One of the new features had a fla icon with the words "Demon Fla Short Video" above it. The other was "Demonic Sect Express," and its icon was a giant sword.
The phones, being Magic Treasures refined by the Demonic Sects, were activated with a drop of blood from the very beginning, which was equivalent to identity verification. Therefore, the new features could be used imdiately without registration. However, to protect the Cultivators’ privacy, they could set a separate ID number and nickna, and even upload an avatar to use the app anonymously.
This applied not only to Demon Fla Short Video but also to Demonic Sect Express.
When they tapped the new fla icon on their phones, a dialog box popped up imdiately, explaining how to use it. It was incredibly convenient. Following the prompts turned out to be surprisingly simple.
For the next two days, everyone in the Cultivation World was busy exploring it.
They were most interested in the new feature called Demon Fla Short Video.
After the new feature was released, so Cultivators had already followed the prompts to create an ID number and set a nickna. Others had discovered that the new function could record and save videos.
This was sowhat similar to a magical recording, except a magical recording could only be captured once before becoming useless. The phone’s short video feature, however, could record footage indefinitely.
Most importantly, the videos they posted could be seen and even comnted on by others.
In just two short days, quite a few Cultivators had already anonymously posted videos and received likes.
The feeling was indescribable—a mix of embarrassnt, nervousness, and excitent. They found themselves constantly opening the app to check on it.
It was just that very few Cultivators were posting videos so far; most people still hadn’t figured out how to use all the features.
Just then, a small, red droplet icon with the number "1" appeared on the short video app icon on their phones.
Piqued by curiosity, they tapped the Demon Fla Short Video icon and saw a notification pop up at the top of the screen.
"The Demonic Sects—Bloodfiend Den Official Account is now live. You are invited to watch."
The notification’s avatar was a miniature version of an exterior shot of the Bloodfiend Den.
Upon seeing the notification, Cultivators from both the Immortal and Demonic Paths reacted differently. So were curious, while others frowned slightly. Those with a deep-seated prejudice against Demon Cultivators simply spat and cursed.
"What in the world are these Demon Cultivators up to? This has to be a conspiracy."
"No... I have to get to the bottom of this."
"And this ’live stream’... what is it, exactly?"
Their short video app did have a "Live" tab, but it currently displayed a ssage saying the feature was not yet enabled. It required over 500 followers to start a live stream, so for now, it was inaccessible.
It was all very strange. Driven by curiosity, the Cultivators tapped into the live stream.
An image imdiately appeared on their phone screens.
It was a lavish, imposing grand hall. The pillars, floor, and walls were all clearly visible.
More importantly, they could see several skulls mounted on the pillars, their eye sockets flickering with an eerie, blue phantom fire.
"What is this? Where are we looking?"
"Skulls..."
"This looks like one of the Demonic Sects’ territories... It’s the grand hall of the Bloodfiend Den."
As they watched, filled with curiosity, the cara panned up to a throne at the head of the hall, a throne constructed from a pile of skulls.
A young woman was seated upon it.
Her hair was styled in an elegant chignon, crowned with a golden phoenix coronet. She wore robes of a deep, dark hue, embroidered with intricate golden patterns and accented with red at the collar and cuffs. rely by sitting there, she exuded an air of innate nobility.
Her entire ensemble, from head to toe, scread opulence and wealth.
She offered a slight smile as she greeted them.
"Good afternoon, fellow Cultivators watching on your screens."
"Whether you’re a Cultivator of the Demonic Sects or the Immortal Sect, since you’re here, why not stay a while?"
"As you can see, this is the main headquarters of the Bloodfiend Den, foremost of the six major powers of the Demonic Sects. Welco to the official Bloodfiend Den live stream."
"I’m here to answer any questions you might have about the new features on your phones. Oh, and I should introduce myself. My na is Celeste Grant. As for who I am... I’m the wife of that Demon leader you’re all constantly screaming to ’kill, kill, kill,’ but can never seem to finish off. You can call Mrs. Sinclair, the Archfiend’s wife, or just Celeste Grant. I’m very easygoing, so please, call whatever you’re comfortable with."
Upon hearing this, even through the screen, the other Demonic Sect Cultivators dared not show any disrespect. anwhile, the disciples of the Bloodfiend Den reverently placed a hand over their chests and bowed, even though their Lady couldn’t possibly see them.
The mbers of the Immortal Sect, however, were grinding their teeth in fury.
"Arrogant... She’s so unbelievably arrogant! What does she an, ’the Demon leader you can never seem to finish off’? Is she looking down on the Immortal Sects?"
"This is a provocation from the Demonic Sects!"
"That woman is just as detestable as that Demon! Sooner or later, we will eradicate them both and restore peace and order to the Cultivation World!"
"Damn Demon Cultivators."
Regardless of the mood of the Cultivators watching on their phones, Celeste Grant remained completely unfazed.
She continued, her voice smooth and steady. "From now on, any official announcents from the Bloodfiend Den will be posted on this account. I should also ntion that all official Bloodfiend Den accounts are marked with our totem. Feel free to give us a follow so you can receive our latest news right away."
’Follow? Impossible!’ they thought. They absolutely would not follow. Yet, the follower count was skyrocketing, which made the Immortal Sect elders completely lose their composure.
"You’ve all seen the new features on your phones, right? That’s right. They were developed by our very own Elder Lawson and his team here at the Bloodfiend Den. They poured their heart and soul into this project... and even blew up the Forging Chamber in the process."
"Fellow Cultivators, our goal in developing these new phone features is actually quite simple: to enrich your entertainnt and make your lives more convenient."
"I imagine you’ve all created anonymous accounts by now. You must have questions. What is a live stream? What’s the point of the Demon Fla Short Video app? What exactly is Demonic Sect Express for? Alright, allow to clear up the confusion for you."
"The Demon Fla Short Video app is a platform where you can record and post videos for others to see. You can also comnt on others’ videos, give them a ’like’ if you enjoy them, and interact with other users. But that’s not all. You can also host a live stream, just like I’m doing right now. As for what to stream, you can just chat, teach Cultivation techniques, or share your own insights from your Cultivation journey. You could even showcase a special talent.
