As she spoke, she rose to her feet, her gaze sweeping over the assembly. "The reason our Bloodfiend Den’s ventures have been so successful is all thanks to everyone’s collective hard work over this period. To the elders, the Hall Masters, and our two protectors—you’ve all worked hard."
She gestured to Javier Sinclair, then added, "I’ve prepared so restorative gifts for you all. It’s ti to recharge."
With a wave of his hand from his seat at the head of the hall, Javier Sinclair caused a storage bag to appear before each person.
Javier Sinclair’s gaze swept over them. "Inside is a top-grade treasure and an assortnt of Cultivation Resources, all specially chosen for you by my lady."
Hearing this, they were truly overwheld by the gesture.
’To receive a gift prepared by The Exalted One and his lady... it ans they truly valued them.’
They rose to their feet and bowed in unison.
"We thank The Exalted One! We thank you, Madam!"
Elder Lawson looked deeply moved.
"Madam, you’re so busy every day, yet you still think of us. I am truly overwheld by this favor. Thank you, Madam. Thank you, Exalted One."

Celeste Grant smiled. "Alright, alright, everyone please sit. Take the gifts and recharge. After two months, the peak of our live-stream sales has passed, and we’ll be entering a more stable period. Since things aren’t as hectic, you can all take a vacation. Go out, travel a bit, or even enter secluded Cultivation."

Even a female cultivator would not be looked down upon.
Javier Sinclair tapped his fingers lightly on the table.

The mont he spoke.
Everyone fell silent.
All of them waited for him to continue.
Javier Sinclair’s gaze passed over them as he spoke. "All of you, make preparations. I am getting married." As he said this, he stood and took Celeste Grant’s hand. "Elder Sawyer, pick an auspicious date. Celeste and I will formally beco Taoist Companions."
Upon hearing this.
The Demon Cultivators present were overjoyed.
Two of the Hall Masters, who had particularly ferocious appearances, grinned so nacingly that anyone who didn’t know better would assu they were about to go on a pillaging spree, not that they were happy.
Nerida was the first to speak up.
"Wonderful, wonderful! Leave it to us."
Elder Lawson and the others shot to their feet.
"We’ve waited so long for this!"
"The Exalted One and Madam’s wedding must be a grand affair, a truly splendid celebration!"
"Yes... We must let all the cultivators of both the Immortal and Demonic Paths know!"
Ever since The Exalted One’s proposal had been accepted, they had all been eagerly awaiting the wedding celebration. There had been no news for a while, but now, the wait was finally over.
Elder Sawyer rose from his seat, a look of preparedness on his face.
"Exalted One, I have long been prepared."
As he spoke, he held out his hand. A red marriage scroll, grand as an imperial edict and etched with golden runes, appeared in his grasp.
"Exalted One... the first of next month is an auspicious day."
"Two months ago, I already consulted your birth charts to confirm your compatibility, selected an auspicious date, and even prepared the marriage scroll. On the day of the grand wedding, all you and Madam need to do is seal the contract with your blood under the witness of the heavens, and you will beco Taoist Companions."
’See? I told you preparing in advance would pay off.’
Nerida said with a laugh, "Elder Sawyer, you were already prepared for this!"
Elder Warren huffed, "Old Man Sawyer, you’re a bad friend! You had the marriage scroll all ready and didn’t even tell ?"
Elder Lawson puffed out his chest and pointed to himself. He let out a hearty laugh, stroking his thin beard. "I knew about it. The calligraphy on that scroll is my own handiwork. Elder Sawyer and I prepared it in private two months ago. As we say, preparing in advance always pays off."
Elder Sawyer nodded. "Old Man Lawson is right. Easing The Exalted One’s burdens is part of our duty."

Javier Sinclair’s gaze shifted to the scroll in Elder Sawyer’s hand, and the corner of his mouth twitched.
’Wait, *I’m* the one getting married, right? Why do I feel like my subordinates are in more of a rush than I am?’
Javier Sinclair had actually planned to ask Elder Sawyer to pick a date two months ago, but his bride-to-be had told him to wait. She was mainly focused on raking in cash at the ti. That’s why he’d delayed until now. He just hadn’t expected them to have already chosen a date for him in private.
This, however, suited him just fine.
With this thought, Javier Sinclair lifted a hand, and the marriage scroll flew from the elder’s grasp into his own.
He unrolled it and took a look.
He was very satisfied with its contents.
Elder Lawson’s calligraphy was also excellent.
Celeste Grant leaned in to look as well.
"This is beautifully written."
Javier Sinclair nodded slightly.
"Yes, it’s excellent indeed. Thank you for your efforts, you two. I’ll leave the matter in your hands. Be sure to handle it well for ."
Hearing this.
Elder Sawyer and the others exchanged a look.
Shock.
’Their Exalted One had truly changed.’

The two elders bowed slightly.
"It is what we ought to do."
Javier Sinclair returned the marriage scroll to Elder Sawyer.
"Then go and make the preparations."
"On the first of next month, I will be married."
The Demon Cultivators present nodded repeatedly.

"You may leave."
"We take our leave."
After they had left.
Javier Sinclair, holding Celeste Grant’s hand, also walked out of the Council Hall.
He glanced at her.
"Are you nervous?"
’Getting married for the first ti in two lifetis... of course she was nervous.’
At that thought, she smiled and nodded.
"A little. But when I think about it being with you, I’m more excited than anything."
Javier Sinclair squeezed her hand and pulled her into his arms.
Holding her waist tight, he lowered his voice. "Celeste Grant, I am also looking forward to it... to becoming your Taoist Companion."
