Xie Changning knew from experience what kind of person Xie Changyu was.
Her malice was all superficial; she had no idea how to plot against people behind their backs.
Her husband was different.

Xie Changning had no patience for it. "Suck it up!"

Xie Changning’s expression was dead serious as she spoke; she didn’t look like she was joking at all.
Xie Changyu was terrified.
She stamred, "I... I’m your only family here!"
Xie Changning scoffed.
"Are you kidding ? You’re nothing."
Xie Changning wouldn’t let a potential problem linger. After returning ho, she went to a nearby phone booth to call Yue Yihan.
Yue Yihan was delighted to receive Xie Changning’s call.
"Honey! What made you think to call ? Is sothing wrong at ho?"
Yue Yihan’s words made Xie Changning feel a little guilty. She cleared her throat. "Xie Changyu ca looking for today, making a scene. Could you tell her husband to co get her and take her away?"
"Tell him to drop his little sches. I have a grudge against Xie Changyu."
Xie Changning’s words made Yue Yihan’s expression darken. He knew she rarely contacted him; if she did, there was always a reason.

"Okay."
A sudden silence fell between them as they held their respective receivers.
Xie Changning felt that hanging up right then would be awkward. She parted her lips and said, "The two kids must miss their dad. Rember to co back when you have ti."
After saying that, she hung up.
After hanging up, Xie Changning paid the fee to the person managing the phone booth, then turned and left.
As she walked, she fanned her face.
She didn’t know why, but her face felt like it was burning after saying those words.
As for Yue Yihan, he was smiling uncontrollably.
’My wife just said the kids miss . The kids are too young to know anything, how could they possibly miss ?’

He Liuzhang didn’t go in but followed Yue Yihan. He watched him enter Chen Weisheng’s ho, then frowned and waited at a distance.
"KNOCK KNOCK—"
The sound of knocking echoed as Yue Yihan stood at the door, a cold expression on his face, waiting for soone to open it.
Before long, Chen Weisheng ca to the door, yawning, and pushed it open. "Who is it? Commander? What brings you here?"
Seeing Yue Yihan, a flicker of pleasant surprise flashed through Chen Weisheng’s eyes.
’It seems my little trick actually worked!’
Yue Yihan held the door open. "I won’t co in. I ca to tell you to go get your wife and bring her back imdiately. Otherwise, I will launch an investigation based on what she has been saying."
