After looking over the Han’s parents’ courtyard, Xie Changning got ready to go to work.
Before leaving, Xie Changning said to Aunt Zhao, who was cooking, "Aunt Zhao, when you go grocery shopping later, please prepare eight dishes. I’m having guests over for dinner."
"Alright."
After giving her instructions, Xie Changning got in the car and headed to the factory for work.
The first thing she did upon arriving at her office was call Xie Changyi. "Sis, are you free tonight? My ntor is in town, and I’m planning to invite her over to my place for dinner. Why don’t you co too?"

Yue Yihan was delighted to receive the call. ’My wife finally called first!’ he thought.
Especially since her first words were asking him to co ho.
The soldiers standing across from Yue Yihan were rendered speechless when they saw his face instantly light up with a beaming smile after his wife spoke.
Everyone knew their Commander Yue was a doting husband, but they never imagined he was *this* devoted!

"I can co back tonight. What’s up?" Yue Yihan’s voice had beco much gentler. The soldier manning the phone was already used to it, finding it completely unsurprising.
However, the soldiers who hadn’t witnessed this before and were just passing by stared at Yue Yihan’s back in horror.
If Yue Yihan hadn’t been on the phone, they would have marched right up, slapped him on the back, and shouted, ’Whoever you are, get out of our commander’s body!’
"I’ve invited my ntor over for dinner, and I thought it would be a good chance for you to et her. My teacher didn’t have ti when we got married, so this ti can be—"
"Okay, I’ll make arrangents and head back this afternoon."
The two exchanged a few more words before Yue Yihan reluctantly hung up the phone.
When he turned around, he saw several soldiers standing behind him, all staring at him with shocked expressions as if he’d gone mad.
Yue Yihan frowned. "Don’t you have training? What are you doing standing around gawking!"

The n pushed and shoved each other as they scrambled away, afraid that once Yue Yihan composed himself, he’d assign them extra training!
After they had gone, a reservedly smug expression appeared on Yue Yihan’s face.
There was a hint of sweetness in his expression.
’This is wonderful. My wife is going to introduce to her teacher. I’ll finally be Xie Changning’s officially presented husband!’
With that thought, Yue Yihan puffed out his chest, held his head high, and went to ask He Liuzhang for leave.
He Liuzhang was in his office drinking tea when he suddenly saw Yue Yihan walk in, grinning from ear to ear. He frowned slightly. "Did you find money on the street or sothing?"

That made Yue Yihan even more excited than finding money.

Yue Yihan precisely stated Xie Changning’s height, weight, and various other asurents.
Following the salesclerk’s advice, he bought the right size for Xie Changning.
Not only that, but he also bought Xie Changning a long black skirt with white polka dots, a cream-colored turtleneck sweater, and a bottle of the most popular and expensive type of vanishing cream currently available.
"The lady at ho will be thrilled to see you bought her so many things."
The salesclerk looked at the items in Yue Yihan’s hands, a flash of envy in her eyes.

"No, no! I’m just... I’m just afraid I’ll do sothing wrong and embarrass Changning." When it ca to Xie Changning, Yue Yihan always felt he wasn’t good enough and couldn’t give her a better life.
He felt a mix of inferiority and indebtedness.
In truth, the Xie Family was actually quite satisfied with his performance. When she first learned the reason the two had gotten together, Xie Changyi had indeed been unhappy.
But there was nothing to be done. In this era, if her younger sister didn’t marry him, she would be bullied if she married soone else later on.
