Yue Yihan had to raise his voice.
Xie Changning finally turned her head. "Hm? What is it?" ’I have to say, the Art Troupe’s performance is pretty good,’ she thought. ’If possible, I’d like to see it again.’
Seeing that his wife only had eyes for the show and not for him, Yue Yihan felt a little wronged.

Quite a few people witnessed their interaction.
After all, Yue Yihan was sitting in the section for his regint, and many of his soldiers were sizing him and Xie Changning up.
Naturally, they didn’t miss the couple’s interaction.
Seeing Yue Yihan fawning over his wife like that, everyone couldn’t help but cringe with envy.

Xie Changning sensed the stares from all around. She glanced over and saw several soldiers quickly turn their heads to look elsewhere.

The Art Troupe’s performance lasted over two hours, and Xie Changning was left wanting more.
When the performance ended, Xie Changning prepared to get up and leave with Yue Yihan.
Just then, Yue Yihan spoke up. "Since everyone’s here, why don’t you have a al with us? My... my brothers all want to et you."
When Yue Yihan asked, a trace of nervousness was evident in his voice.
He was afraid Xie Changning would refuse.
Xie Changning, however, didn’t see any problem with it. It wasn’t like she had to hide from people. She just nodded. "Okay, let’s go then."
With that, Xie Changning began to push Yue Yihan’s wheelchair toward the ss hall.
As the two headed to the ss hall, many of the soldiers followed.
The ss hall was huge; even with everyone seated, it wasn’t full.
Xie Changning and Yue Yihan sat together. Then, she saw nurous soldiers co up to her and greet her, "Hello, ma’am!"
"Hello, everyone."

So of the more outgoing ones, acting like old friends, sat down across from Xie Changning and Yue Yihan, chatting with them with big grins.
"Ma’am, I heard you invented the pagers that our unit’s leaders are using now?"
COUGH, COUGH, COUGH! Xie Changning turned her head in shock. She looked at Yue Yihan, her eyes asking, ’Is this really the rumor going around your unit?’
Yue Yihan gave a light cough, tacitly confirming it.

"I think that’s a great idea!"
Their unit had a lot of bachelors, and a mixer could potentially solve the marriage problem for many of them.
The leaders all agreed it was an excellent proposal and planned to call the couple, Yue Yihan and his wife, over after the al to discuss it.
At this mont, Xie Changning had no idea that the young won at her factory were being targeted.
After finishing her al, Xie Changning was just about to leave.
A leader’s adjutant ca over to get Yue Yihan and Xie Changning.

Many thoughts ran through her head, but since the leaders had summoned her, she naturally had to go.
Yue Yihan took Xie Changning’s hand and walked toward the leaders.
Arriving before the leaders, Yue Yihan saluted. "Reporting! Yue Yihan and family present, sirs! Good evening, sirs!"
The leaders, all smiles, gestured for the two of them to sit down.
