"It depends on what you choose." The driver spoke as they stopped at a red light. "I an, usually old money families almost always have so badass sounding nas, like Vespucci, Leonardo, Frilesta, and so on. Of course, not every ti, but if you choose old money, it would be wiser choosing a na like these."
Man, these guys were sothing else as Jas just sat there, like they ca up with what he didn't even think about, and moreover, it was like a spy mission, they were ready to provide everything, even explain why he needed to choose a specific na.
"I agree." Mike said. "If you go with my option, I think the na doesn't need to be special. You can choose whatever you want, boss."
"Scott Miller would sound good." The guard spoke again from the passenger seat. "At least if you go with the self-made millionaire option… like Scott Miller, a crypto millionaire, day trader, a genius."
Scott Miller… interesting na.
"But boss, wouldn't it have been better if we had stayed at the house?" Mike quickly switched as he started seeing lots of people on the sidewalks. "I an, this is still fresh, and I'm worried sothing will happen."
"It's alright now.The governnt is looking, and they know it. Nobody's going to do anything until it dies down a bit. Basically, it's a trap, if sobody acts, shoots, robs, or anything, they will be fucked." Jas said, but as he looked out the window, he realized it too, that it was maybe the wrong ti to co out, because it was a whole fucking parade outside.
Like a whole-ass party was going on, and they were still tens of minutes from the city centre.
Hundreds of people were out, so of them already blacked out, laying on the ground or being carried away… girls were dancing, everybody was cheering what just happened to the nation… but it also caused a little problem.
After going for so minutes, the crowd just got worse, as well as the traffic, and when they neared the city centre, there was a whole-ass police blockade turning back all the cars. Not just that, but the driver looked at the map, and it too showed that the whole downtown, nearly every street was being closed down from traffic.
"We can go further, boss." He said as he looked back at him.
"Then park down, and we take the tram to Heroes' Square, and from there we walk," Jas said, but it just worried them even more, and he saw that when he looked up at Mike. "Don't worry, there are hundreds, if not thousands, of people. Nobody can attack us in this much of a crowd, and there are the police too." Jas explained, and well, it was true that many people were outside, but it was still Mike's responsibility to protect him, and going in a crowd, he couldn't do his job well.
But once again, he had no authority to tell Jas that, so they did exactly what he said and parked the cars, and they were out, and Mike chilled out a bit.
The mont they stepped out from the parking spot, five police helicopters showed up circling the whole city, and even more police ca, and even the SWAT showed up. Still, the biggest problem that they couldn't do anything about was the crowd itself. It had its own atmosphere as people were partying on the streets literally in the middle of the day, and the loud music, the sll of the alcohol… it was happiness in the dark tis, and Jas kinda felt it.
"So we're going to the tram, boss?" Mike asked, as Jas for a minute was totally engaged by the people all around, by the sheer emotion in them.
"Yeah, it's a few hundred ters away." He said as he pointed his finger toward it.
"Then we will go in a circle position all around you. I will be next to you if sothing happens, okay?" He asked, and Jas nodded to it, and with that, they walked in the crowd, making their way toward the tram, and well, it was a work.
Lots of people were drunk, lots of people were dancing while they were just going against them, and the most important thing was that they were looking out for any threat. And well, it was hard, but they made their way to the tram without any problem, and that's when they realized it was just the beginning because there were way more people further up the streets and way more chaos, but the tram was still going, which was an imdiate cause of a little relaxation… but it was stuffed as fuck too.
Getting on it was a work too, especially because there were 15 guards with them, and they needed to stay together. So what happened was Mike went in and pushed people aside, making enough space to get everyone in that cart, and so the trip began.
The tram too was more like a party tram. People were jumping up and down, shouting, cheering, while they were just standing still, and well, Jas was still doubting if it was really a good idea to co out, especially now, but there wasn't any problem. The people didn't really care about Jas' guards and their weapons in hand. Actually, they thought they were police or so kind of agents that were looking out for them, so the 8 minute trip with the tram was kinda calm. Nothing happened, and they arrived at Heroes' Square, which was another fucking dungeon.
Like, it was packed as fuck, there was not even space to move.
Well, they had a key to solve the problem, and it was to push the people the fuck out of the way and just go like icebreaker ships and it worked.
So people glanced at them and shouted, but as soon as they saw the guns in their hands, they imdiately shut the fuck up and just smiled, and that was it. With hard work, they finally arrived.
"I'm going in alone. Don't co in, or they'll realize I'm not Scott Miller." Jas said with a laugh as he wiped the sweat from his forehead.
"At least let go in, boss. I don't look like a bad guy." Mike said as he was breathing heavily, and well, he was the only one without the SMG in his hands and had the most casual outfit.
"Then co, and you guys just chill out, eat so ice cream and drink water." Jas said as he pointed at the one cream shop on the other side. They nodded, and finally Jas and Mike stepped into the building.
But oh boy, he really ca at the wrong ti.
