The whole office of Linda now was stripped down, like everything was thrown out that was movable and was taking too much space up, and was turned into a joint operation center or sothing like that.
Basically, four desks were thrown into her office with computers, printers and paper shredders, and another two desks that were packed with folders, files, reports, everything they can use against the people they’re going after.
"Bogdan Rezek." Stephen said. "He is the... Rural Developnt Program Head Coordinator, which we all know he didn’t do shit, as well as the whole departnt of his, so let’s put him, the departnt head, and literally everybody on the list. It could cause a lot of satisfaction among those who live in rural areas."
"Anything about him, Thomas?"
"Yeah, as we all know he stole a lot of money, as well as the whole departnt... he has two supercars worth 5 million and bought several estates which are worth over 50 million... with a 180-thousand yearly salary. It’s obvious, too obvious." He said as he looked at Linda.
"Who is the departnt head?"
It’s Farid Miham, who was appointed two years ago and suddenly beca a millionaire... with a yearly salary of 290 thousand. He travels and still travels by private jet charters, stays in luxury hotels, and owns several real estates. On top of that, he bought a 21 million dollar yacht." Thomas continued. "His departnt received 670 million per year, and the only thing he actually did was asphalt three roads." He looked up again. "But the thing is the departnt is connected to the Ministry of Finance, at least Dorian’s signature is all over the place."
"That fucking Dorian..." Linda whispered because there’s no way they can bust down the Minister of Finance.
"If we arrest the whole ministry of Finance, then the country will be thrown into the biggest economic crisis, market would crash, foreign investnt pull out, not even talking about the dollar will fly the fuck upwards." Thomas said.
"It will be a sign for him, that the rope is already at his neck and one move and he will choke to death." Stephen spoke. "He will notice it, that around him everything is falling, and the only thing he can do is act how we want to, because if he doesn’t and the country falls, then he will die with his family. There’s nowhere to run off." He looked up. "So let’s say, we arrest those who are corrupt around the Ministry of Finance, all of these departnts that just steal the money but do not have higher powers. We do it, then seize all of their assets, and with it, the money will co back to us. Their cash, their money on hidden accounts, even offshore, and their assets like houses and everything else, will be sold on international auction, so we can invest that money back to the departnt under a new guy who’s actually doing his job."
They were all stunned, by Stephen and that he just fucking laid out the whole operation and how to do it and how it’ll benefit the public and, well, the governnt... but hearing it from him, it was strange... he seed energetic.
"Exactly like you said." Thomas began. "We need to look out and start with departnts that have no bigger power in the governnt itself and to the public, so with it there will be no market crash or anything else."
"Well then, this Bogdan guy and Farid will be the first ones that will be arrested, as well as those who are working under them." Linda spoke as she wrote sothing down. "But we need to erase Dorian’s signature from all the docunts... how the fuck can he be this dumb to actually sign it with his own na?" She shook her head as she just got more stressed by it.
"They thought it would last long... as well as we thought," Stephen spoke again. "But now the empire is falling down as the people’s voice is raising."
Again, silence...
"What the fuck, Stephen?" Linda asked, almost laughing but still with that serious look on her face. "When did you beco... like this?"
"When I realized that if we ss this up, I’ll never retire, and I won’t even run because I have enough pride to admit I’d deserve to be shot by a firing squad or hanged. So yeah... that’s just the reality." He said as looked deep in Linda’s eyes.
"Whoa... I never imagined you talking like this." Thomas said as he was truly shocked by the fact that, well, Stephen sounded serious about it, not like many other tis... he started to act like how he acted back then... when justice was a thing.
"Key point is to not ss up, and you, Stephen, are the ISB head, so you have what you need to make the move, as well as we do." Linda spoke, kind of wanting to cheer him, which was even more shocking to Thomas.
"Yeah, but we are just 50 percent of it... the other half is Bellini." Stephen spoke again. "If so idiot attacks him, let it be the cartel, another gang, or soone else who we don’t know about, it will turn into a bloodbath. And if he truly loses his mind, he will kill everybody who is in front of him, let it be agents, police, anybody, even us."
"I think the chance of that is zero." Thomas said. "I an he already lost his mind and he is still with us."
"Even if he did or not, we first need to get these things done." Linda spoke. "So first, those departnts of the Finance Ministry are going to be busted, we need the list, the nas, departnt, officials of it, and reasons and then get the operation going on. Then start with the other ministries."
"Thousands of people..." Thomas said. "Top of my head there is the Defense, Education, Health, Transport, Energy, Agriculture, Culture, Housing, Labor, Tourism and all of it’s connected to the fucking Finance. We are not going to sleep, that’s for sure..."
"That’s why we are involving the most trusted n like we did earlier, so just sort out the worst ones." Linda said, and well, they began to do it, looking through hundreds of nas, from all kinds of departnts and ministries, to governnt, mayors, on every single level of the system.
Until a phone call ca... and it was Benjamin with the news about Jas and the trip he was about to do.
And Linda, well... she crashed the fuck out... a bit.
