Sophia still felt so type of way about it, or more like all of it was a fucking joke on its own to her which she couldn't slip past.
The NSBI, the sa fucking agency that raided her in the beginning many tis, the sa agency that killed her people, that fucking struck down on her routes, that busted down on her warehouses… millions' worth of drugs went down in the fucking drain by them, the sa agency that wiretapped her many tis… and she needed to walk in like nothing had ever happened, walking into the fucking headquarters and eting with the director of that agency.
He believes in Jas, there is no doubt of it… but this is a whole other thing, the sa fucking problem that Jas thought about… that people would leave them, people would feel so type of way if they made a deal with the governnt, because there's no way everybody would be okay with it…
Okay with the people who fucked them up many tis, the fucking archnesis of the underworld, the sa agency that had no fuck-up until this point… but the main problem of all of it is that it questions their loyalty. Though for Sophia… well, even if it pained her inside, she still believes in Jas, and that belief is sothing that can't be shattered even if all of it looks too sketchy, too wrong… this is their reality that they need to work with.
"There is a problem." She said, stopping Hector in the doorway.
"Problem?" He asked as he turned back. "Do you still fear the NSBI?" he asked as he looked into her eyes, but he didn't see any fear in them… no, there was sothing different.
"I didn't say it to Jas, but in that docunt I have… there is a na that connects to him." Her voice was kinda low.
"Na?" Hector asked, as he sensed that she truly held sothing back… maybe a rat. "Say it then, whose na is it?"
She waited a bit, maybe to gather so power and will to say it. "Jas has an uncle on his father's side… who is in a street gang affiliated with the cartel."
A bit of silence, but everything happened, but not what she had expected… Hector just giggled while Ramiz just looked emotionless about it… she expected the complete opposite.
"Then kill him and that's it." Hector said.
"What?" Sophia imdiately asked back. "He is a family mber of him—"
"Jas almost killed his father with his bare hands in front of his mother." Hector interrupted her. "If sobody is going against Jas, let it be a family mber or not, let it be God or not we kill them. An uncle, or whoever the fuck it is, probably doesn't even exist in Jas' mind or heart; I never heard about him and we will never hear about him in the near future, either." He said it simply and straight. "But now let's go and finally let rip their hearts out."
With Hector's words it has begun… the biggest gangster war in the history of the underworld that can't even be called a war… no, it will be a one-sided massacre.
Finally, everybody who poses danger to the Bellini family will be killed, those who are hiding in the shadows waiting for the right opportunity… well, their opportunity is never going to happen because a whole fucking military is preparing to take them all down. The NSBI, IF, ISB, all of the law enforcents are finally stepping up and, with their cover, it's more like going to be what they have promised.
To clean the country from the danger, from the monsters… how crazy is that, working on the side of a monster to hunt the others… but not just that.
Those parasites, the rats, the snakes, the betrayers in the family… they are not even people. You can't call them by any good na. They are rotten flesh and empty souls, the kind who smile at your face and sell you out behind your back. For so long they hid in the shadows, acting humble and grateful, pretending to belong. But all along they were stabbing the family in the back, trading our trust for their own gain.
They need to understand how small and ugly they truly are… to feel the weight of what they have done. They will learn what it ans to be broken down from the inside.
And the one who will make sure they face that end will be Hector, the worst of the worst.
It is just laughable to even think about it, that people would betray the family, the very sa family that gave everything to its people.
They were given money, safety, protection, a better life than they ever dread of, and yet so of them still chose to turn against the hand that held them together… that fed them.
That is why Hector is the worst one to push. He has seen it all, the pain, the suffering, the scars Jas carries and still does the man who gave his all to make sure everyone could survive. He gave them everything, and still, they spat on his na and ran against him, against the very blood that kept them alive, that changed their life, that gave them hope.
That is why Hector could not stop smiling. It was not the joy of imagining their faces twist in terror as he tortured them. No, it was the rage inside him, a rage that he couldn't control, that is why, for Sophia, Hector seed strange, why he was silent, why he didn't act the way he did every day… it was rage he was raging inside… raging that it actually happened to them… sobody sold them out from the inside.
It is just laughable to even think about it… that people would actually do it, try it, knowing pretty well who they are in the family, like him… sobody who knows no rcy, it's gone a long ti ago… and now he is going to show no rcy.
Let it be woman or man, young or old, they will fucking die… but before that, they will suffer.
That was that smile… not a smile of joy… but a promise of pain… of death.
A promise that no one who turned against the family would ever escape the wrath of Hector.
