The rest of the ride toward the hospital was funny and full of laughter, a complete change to how it started. Well, Hector’s surprise about Ferucci helped it much, but what helped more was that Charlotte was literally arguing with Jas about words she didn’t even know the aning of.

Words like "liability," which she couldn’t even say out correctly. Then sohow ca the word "corruption," which she could say out loud and use, but not too correctly, and which beca the starting point of an argunt. From that, sohow, they jumped back to Ferucci, where Charlotte started arguing that Ferucci deserves love... well, how the fuck they got to that point, or what even Charlotte was thinking, neither of them knew.

It seed like she just wanted to argue or had this attitude against both Hector and Jas, but maybe the whole thing started because she misunderstood the whole point of Jas’s and Hector’s talk. Maybe she thought that they don’t let Ferucci have a girlfriend, not like Charlotte could understand what it really ans to be a girlfriend, or what it ans to a mafia that it’s a liability... but she was defending her point until... she got tired and just kept silent.

Though this whole little argunt with Charlotte just showed Jas even more that she truly is on another level, not like every other child. She had a point in an argunt, she knew how to argue to an extent, but couldn’t fully express herself, her point, and her intentions, as she doesn’t know the aning of words and a lot of things. Still, she was trying her best, which just ant that when she grows more, she is going to be a bomb.

Not just a bomb, but maybe she will grow into an adult that could truly lead a mafia, could grow into a woman who will have the sa respect as Jas and the respect that Lucian had... in short, she could be a genius.

A genius who knows how to talk to people, how to push her ideas into them, how to control the narrative, and moreover, from the example of Lucian and Jas, she will know how to, well, kill people... because she will indeed experience more, she will see more.

Pain, fear, guilt, morality, it will all be a toy for her, because she is already seeing it all in Jas. She already experiences all kinds of pain in everybody around him, from Erika to Hector, from Lucian to Vallen. She is a little demon that could be worse than both of them, but that will take ti, and maybe she would never even live that long to experience what it takes to be great, what it takes to be a leader... but that is for the future.

"How nostalgic, being here once again." Jas whispered as the convoy stopped in front of the hospital.

"It’s strange to think that a hospital is our biggest ally. They’ve always been there for us."

Hector said it right, and indeed it was strange that a hospital is their best ally since the beginning. They were always there if sothing happened... like their combat hospital or sothing. Like if sobody got shot, they went in and saved his life, or at least tried their best without a single word. They didn’t give out a single information to nobody, be it the feds, the police, or the journalists. They kept it to themselves. Fuck, they didn’t even write down any information and even wiped the CCTVs, they did everything, and well, it was thanks to... a lot of donations that Hector sent toward their way.

"Should we go in?" Hector asked as Jas once again just had this distant eye, looking at the hospital... and for a reason, because it was the sa hospital where both Hans and Raelf lost their lives.

"Yeah, let’s see how Finn is. Maybe while talking with him, the mysterious girlfriend will show up." He glanced at Hector, and with that they went in.... all of them... Bella, Ramirez, Mike, and even Arine followed them.

Like a big family coming to visit, with the twist that they didn’t need to wait, didn’t need to give a signature to anything, or give their na. A nurse imdiately went to them, leading them to the private sector, where guards stood protecting Finn and Ferucci from anyone else that could have co their way.

"Woah, you look like shit, Finn." The first words, rather than worrying, were more like mocking Jas as he saw Finn literally just chilling in his bed.

"Oh, thank you for the kind words, boss, like I didn’t almost die." Finn answered with a laugh, though the surprise was clear on his face that Jas had taken the ti to co and visit him.

"That’s nothing, you need to get shot at least three more tis to catch up to ." Jas said as he shook hands with him, but Finn did look bad, pale, and like he had lost weight too.

"I will work to get shot more to achieve that greatness." He answered, laughing even more. "Though I never thought I would get a whole family visit, that is lovely." Finn glanced at the others standing in the background.

"That’s why we’re family, don’t we?" Jas asked as he smiled more, though the thought stayed in his mind that Finn could have died, that one of the geniuses of the family could have vanished on that day once again because of him... but that thought was cut off as, out of nowhere, Charlotte said sothing sweet and heartwarming.

"I hope you recover fast."

It was kind of stunning for Finn and the others... hearing it from her, who was always silent... also it was kind of strange as she said it in a monotone tone, though it still hit the right place.

"Thank you, darling." Finn answered her, and that pure smile on his face was sothing else.

Charlotte wasn’t just a bubble for Jas, but a warm bubble for everybody... though it was clear too that sothing else needed to be talked about.

"Co on, sweetheart, let’s go find sothing to eat." Bella said as she picked her up from the ground. "It was nice to see you, Finn. Hope you will get shot more." She said with a smile and left the room, leaving the n behind to talk about sothing that mattered more.
