Arine’s question wasn’t just a golden one, it was the question everyone had been waiting for. A question that showed just how fucking strong they were, because as Jas answered it, they realized they had so much shit to their na it was almost unbelievable.
Silas’ warehouses, Lucian’s stuff that they had already taken, and now Sira, the fucking black market dealer, not even ntioning the gang mbers, the mafia, and everyone who had died during the raids.
"So we truly have everything." Mike spoke again, as he just now started to understand how fucking strong they are.
Even understanding it was kind of hard to do, that it is not just monopoly itself over the market, which is already a fucking huge deal that has never happened before, but sprinkled on top, they have countless warehouses that are waiting for them to just open up and get everything inside.
From a black market dealer to the gangs, they have so much in their hands that it is just unbelievable to think about. They just fucking broke the scale with everything... it is not even a drug lord but the fucking godfather of it now.
The Bellini family, that is the monopoly, controls everything, from the market to trafficking routes, from everything.
"We indeed have everything." Hector began. "Though to actually work, we need to reform everything in the family."
He is right about it. They need to reform the whole family. They need to make sure they have enough capacity for the amount of drugs and everything else they need to deal with, which also ans they need more people. Because the amount they have now, from soldiers to warehouse workers, is not enough to satisfy the market. They need to find a lot of people who can truly fit in the family and are not going to be like Xavier, and this is just the start of it.
They need to reform the structure, reform the hierarchy in the family, and get more people in high positions to make the family a fine chanism that can work on its own without too much oversight. But all of it ans one more thing, they need more money to achieve it. Just to operate the family, it costs tens of millions in salaries, plus any incident that could happen... at least if Jas keeps his idea that people need to be paid well to earn their trust.
"We have ti for all of that." Jas said. "But yeah, we will need to have a eting with everybody involved in the business."
"So with them too?" Ramirez asked as he glanced at Jas.
"Yeah." He answered, and well, everybody knew who they were talking about.
The governnt and the deal with them.
Even though Jas and Hector had talked with Linda and the others a long ti ago about what they wanted, the cut, and how everything would operate, a lot had happened since then... a whole fucking operation that wiped gangs out from the capital, and a total monopoly that neither of them truly believed would actually happen, yet it did.
Which also ant that a new deal would have to be made with the governnt, and Jas knew they would want a huge cut of the money, and when combined with Darvik’s cut, it simply wouldn’t work, especially in their current state, since they didn’t even have enough drugs to be properly profitable.
I don’t even know where to start... Yeah, Jas didn’t really think it through, that he had three separate deals, and on top is the governnt’s, but on top of that is also his mafia and the people he needs to provide salary for... it’s just complicated.
"For now, we’re good, so let’s go see Ferucci." Jas said, completely unsure of what was going on. They desperately needed a eting to sort out their plans, who wanted what cut, how much, and what the governnt would actually contribute... so rather than guessing and stressing himself out, he stepped up to Finn."Recover quickly so I can promote you." He said, offering his hand. Finn just kind of froze.
"P-promote...?" He asked back.
"Yeah, you will be promoted, so be ready." Jas said as he smiled at his reactions. "See you soon, Finn." He said, and with that, all of them went out of the room, leaving Finn behind, kind of just still stunned because he never thought about that... like that he could be promoted.
Like he already held a position that is almost impossible to reach, too, and in his mind there was no other position to reach... but a position to be a Bellini... to officially get the na, and stand on that level. To be on the side of Jas.
It ant more than he could put into words... so much that the machine he was hooked up to started beeping as his heartbeat shot through the roof at the thought... to carry the Bellini na, and on top of that, to have Jas look at him like he actually deserved it.
"Should I expect sothing bad or does he look good?"
"Nothing, he looks good, just hooked on machines and sleeping." Hector answered to Jas, as they arrived at the door and opened it.
"Huh, there’s no girlfriend." Jas said as he stepped in, but it imdiately hit his nose, the sll of flowers on the side. "But I guess he is real," he said, as it was not an ordinary bouquet of flowers.
The combination of colors, the intensity of the scent, was all matching... those flowers gave an atmosphere in that room, kind of pushing away the bad thoughts as Jas looked at Ferucci.
His body was just lying in the bed, hooked up to a couple of machines and monitors... the guilt of it coming up once again, just staring at him, but at least he was finally at peace. No pain, no nothing, just a dreamlike state where nothing could hurt him.
