The couple didn’t care about the dungeon’s core little sche. They would take their ti to enjoy this paradise until they beca tired of it.
Lilith, still dripping from her earlier swim, grabbed Gabriel’s hand and tugged.
"Co on, hubby. You’ve cooked enough. Now you swim."
He barely had ti to set down his wine glass before she pulled him to his feet. His yellow floral shirt was discarded in a heap on the grass. His shorts followed a mont later—leaving him in nothing but a pair of dark, fitted swimming trunks that clung to his hips.
"Bossy," he said, smiling.
"Always," she replied, and pushed him into the lake.
Splash!
The cool water closed over his head. He surfaced, sputtering, his golden hair plastered to his forehead. Lilith stood at the water’s edge, hands on her hips, laughing—a bright, carefree sound that echoed off the cascades.
"You’ll pay for that," Gabriel warned, his eyes gleaming.
He lunged.
She shrieked—playfully, not in fear—and dove backward into the water. He caught her ankle just before she disappeared beneath the surface, pulling her toward him. They tumbled together in the clear, cool embrace of the lake, limbs tangled, bubbles rising around them.
When they broke the surface, Lilith was wrapped around him like a vine, her arms locked behind his neck, her legs coiled around his waist. Water stread down her face, her silver hair clinging to her cheeks. Her purple bikini had shifted slightly, but she made no move to adjust it.
"You’re heavy," Gabriel said, though he made no move to let her go.
"You’re strong," she replied, pressing her forehead to his.
They floated there for a while, held aloft by his gentle kicks and the buoyancy of the water. Around them, the lake sparkled. The cascade sang. Exotic birds watched from the shore, tilting their heads as if curious about these strange, laughing creatures.
"Rember the first ti we swam together?" Lilith asked, her voice soft.
"The river," Gabriel said. "On Earth. You tried to drown ."
"I was testing your endurance."
"You were trying to win an argunt."
"Sa thing."
They laughed together, and the sound seed to make the flowers bloom brighter.
Gabriel spun her around, then dove beneath the surface, pulling her with him. They swam like fish—entwined, inseparable, moving as one. He chased her through underwater caves of rock and coral. She hid behind a subrged boulder, then surprised him from above, wrapping her arms around his chest from behind.
Their playful banter echoed around the lake, bouncing off the cliffs and mixing with the sound of the cascade.
"Too slow, old man!"
"I’m an archangel. I don’t age."
"Then act like it!"
"Oh, I’ll act like it—"
Splash!
More water. More laughter. More tangled limbs.
The dungeon core watched from its hidden chamber, its ancient consciousness flickering with confusion and a bit of excitent.
Eh? Look at them enjoying themselves not knowing their end iz near.
Gabriel reached over and took Lilith’s hand.
"I could stay here forever," she said.
"So could I," he replied.
They both knew they wouldn’t, well they would take their ti to have fun.
The artificial sun hung low, painting the lake in shades of molten gold and deep rose. The cascade sang its endless song. Exotic birds had long since retreated to their nests, leaving the paradise floor in a hush of twilight.
The couple still floated in the shallows, their bodies half-subrged, the cool water lapping at their skin.
Lilith’s silver hair fanned out around her like a silken veil. Droplets clung to her lashes, her lips, the hollow of her throat. Gabriel watched her, his cross-shaped pupils dark with want.
She saw it. She smiled.
Then she closed the distance between them.
Their lips t—soft at first, then firr, then hungry. Her fingers tangled in his golden hair. His hands found her waist, pulling her closer until there was no space left between them. The water rippled around their joined bodies, small waves spreading outward in concentric circles.
His hands began to move.
Slowly. Deliberately. He traced the curve of her spine, the swell of her hips, the sensitive skin just above the waistband of her bikini bottoms. She shivered against him, her breath catching in her throat.
He slid one hand upward, over her ribcage, his thumb brushing the underside of her breast.
’’!"
She gasped into his mouth—a small, eager sound.
Then he slipped his fingers beneath the wet fabric of her purple lace bra.
Her breast filled his palm—warm, heavy, perfect. The lace was rough against his skin, but hers was silk. He caressed her slowly, circling, teasing. Her nipple hardened against his thumb, and she moaned—low and deep—the vibration passing between their locked lips.
"Gabriel," she whispered, her voice thick.
He answered by capturing her mouth again, swallowing her next moan. His fingers continued their work, kneading, squeezing, rolling the sensitive peak between thumb and forefinger. Her hips pressed against his. Her legs wrapped around his waist beneath the water, drawing him closer, closer, closer.
The cascade masked the sounds of their passion. The twilight shadows hid their entwined forms. The exotic animals did not watch.
The dungeon core, sowhere deep below, felt a flicker of sothing it did not recognize.
What are they doing now? it wondered.
But it was too afraid to look.
Gabriel pulled back just enough to see her face—flushed, eyes half-closed, lips parted. Her crimson irises glead with reflected sunlight and sothing far more primal.
"You’re beautiful," he said.
She pulled him back down.
And the water closed over them once more.
After their little intimate mont in the lake, they finally left the water.
Lilith spread a large, soft mat on the grassy bank—conjured from her dinsional space along with a small bottle of golden essential oil. The artificial sun was beginning to set, casting long, honeyed rays across the paradise floor. The cascade murmured in the distance. The exotic flowers released their sweet fragrance into the cooling air.
Lilith lay down on her stomach, her damp silver hair fanned out across the mat. Her purple bikini top was unhooked and set aside, leaving her back bare to the evening light. The pareó remained loosely tied around her hips, her legs stretched out behind her, her toes curling slightly into the grass.
She turned her head to the side, her crimson eyes half-closed.
"Massage," she commanded softly. "I want to feel your heavenly fingers."
Gabriel knelt beside her, a small smile playing on his lips. He poured a few drops of the essential oil into his palms—warm, fragrant, infused with hints of lavender and sothing sweeter. He rubbed his hands together, letting the oil heat between his fingers.
Then he placed his palms on her shoulders.
She sighed.
His fingers worked slowly at first, tracing the elegant lines of her shoulder blades, the curve of her spine, the delicate slope of her lower back. He pressed, released, pressed again—each motion deliberate, tender, unhurried.
But Gabriel was not content with rely ordinary touch.
He summoned a tiny spark of static electricity—no more than a gentle buzz, barely visible as a soft blue glow between his fingertips. The electricity danced along her skin, not shocking, but tingling. It made the oil seep deeper. It made her muscles loosen faster. It made her breath catch.
"Oh," Lilith breathed. "That’s... new."
"Do you like it?" he asked, his voice low.
"Don’t stop."
He didn’t.
He worked his way down her back, from her shoulders to her waist, from her waist to the small of her back, using the static electricity in short, pulsing bursts. Each touch sent a ripple of relaxation through her body. Her wings—which she had kept folded and hidden—trembled slightly, responding to the sensation.
He found a knot just below her left shoulder blade and focused there, circling his thumb with gentle pressure, adding a steady, warm current of static energy. The knot dissolved.
Lilith moaned softly—a sound of pure, unguarded pleasure.
"You’re cheating," she murmured into the mat.
"I’m winning," he replied.
He moved lower, to her lower back, then to the curve of her hips. His fingers traced the waistband of her pareó but did not go beneath. The static electricity crackled faintly, raising goosebumps on her skin despite the warm air.
By the ti he finished, Lilith was nearly boneless, her eyes closed, her breathing deep and even. The artificial sun had dipped below the horizon, leaving the paradise in a soft, twilight glow. Fireflies—or sothing like them—began to erge, dotting the adow with tiny lights.
Gabriel leaned down and pressed a kiss to the back of her neck.
"How do you feel?" he whispered.
"Like lted butter," she mumbled. "In a good way."
He chuckled and lay down beside her, pulling a light blanket over them both. She rolled onto her side, nestling against his chest. Her bra remained unhooked, but neither of them cared.
The cascade sang. The fireflies danced. The dungeon core watched, confused and hopeful.
And for a little while longer, the couple rested in paradise.
