Amon felt sympathy from the bottom of his heart, which led him to do what he did.
However, he didn't feel that his creation points had been wasted. Instead, there was a sense of warmth in his heart, and the unsettling amount of killing intent within him seed to lt away.
Whenever traces of killing intent threatened to surge again, images of those people would force it back down.
Amon had also confird that he hadn't completely lost himself after ten monotonous years of solitude.
Although his ntality had changed greatly, in the end…
Amon was still Amon.
The dragon continued at an even pace as the bluish scenery stretched endlessly onward.
The two moved in silence, while Amon wondered where Helena had gone.
Suddenly, sothing caught the corner of his eye.
The dragon seed to notice it as well and adjusted its flight direction.
'Dad, what's that?' Aegon asked as they drifted closer.
A look of shock appeared on Amon's face as he noticed sothing resembling a gigantic palm reaching toward a floating cloud.
The cloud was already dripping with blood, as though a heinous act had been committed atop it.
After pondering for a brief mont, Amon replied.
"The judgnt of god. There's no need to go there. There's nothing to find, and we might just lose our lives in the process."
Amon stared at the hand as it dragged the cloud downward forcefully, as though encountering so kind of restriction along the way.
Even so, the cloud continued plumting at a steady speed.
Suddenly, the palm paused.
Then, slowly, one massive finger shifted and pointed directly at Amon.
"What?" Amon felt imdiate horror surge through him.
"Go, Aegon!" he urged hastily.
Aegon instantly realised the danger and, without hesitation, flapped his wings at the highest speed he could muster, retreating explosively.
Amon's eyes remained locked on the giant finger pointing toward him.
It felt as though a divine decree was being passed down upon him, and unconsciously, an itchy sensation spread from the Mark of the Sinner on his hand.
He stared at the colossal hand, eyes sharp with caution and alertness, waiting to see if it would strike.
When it didn't move and rely continued pointing, Amon felt an unexpected sense of relief.
And even more bewildernt.
Why was it pointing at him?
The brief exchange stretched on far longer than it should have before Amon finally flew out of the giant hand's range.
'Perhaps it was calling out to ?' Amon guessed silently.
Still, he wouldn't answer such a call.
Just the size of that single finger was larger than him. How big would the entity responsible be?
Amon didn't know, or rather…
He wasn't interested in finding out.
But if he had to guess…
Just that monstrous body lying there could probably cover the entirety of Europe.
'Why would creatures grow to such a size… is it strength? Evolution to a higher realm, or sothing else?'
Images of the endless primordial dragon from before flashed through his mind as Amon continued making silent guesses.
The journey stretched on, and along the way, Amon encountered two more clouds that were quickly devoured by giant hands.
This ti, he left imdiately, unwilling to draw any attention that could drag him toward his death.
Finally, after several stressful hours of flying through the skies, Aegon spotted another cloud.
From afar, Amon could hear loud screams, and this ti, it wasn't like before…
Faint traces of red stained the floating cloud, and a serious expression settled onto his face.
He picked up the hamr from the back of the primordial dragon and stared intently into the distance.
Aegon flapped his wings and swooped in, closing the distance at lightning speed.
The mont they reached the cloud, he swooped past it.
"Pass by them first. I want to study their strength," Amon said just as Aegon was about to stop.
Following Amon's instructions, Aegon flew past the group, instantly drawing everyone's attention.
"What is that?? It looks like a beast… how is it so big?"
"Such a big piece of at! If we kill it, we'll have an enjoyable feast!" another man exclaid as he swung his blade toward the neck of a middle-aged man who was staring at the dragon in a daze.
Bang!
The man's head was cleaved apart, exploding grotesquely.
anwhile, Amon, seated atop the dragon, assessed their strength and quickly realised he had nothing to worry about.
Rather, their numbers were pitifully low, only around fifty.
Amon wasn't disappointed. That number was more than enough to obtain the creation points he needed.
Aegon turned around, flapped his wings, and swooped down again, this ti flying even lower.
Sensing Amon's stance and realising he was about to jump, Aegon adjusted his position so Amon wouldn't be injured by the fall.
Appreciating the help, Amon jumped down without hesitation.
On the other hand, seeing Aegon so close, barely a head away, the ferocious n swung their weapons toward the dragon.
CLANG! CLANG! CLANG!
Their blades crashed violently against Aegon's scales, which were as hard as tal.
A dumbfounded look spread across their faces.
"It's so hard? What kind of creature is this?"
Their shock was obvious, and they were about to continue attacking when Amon's descending silhouette entered their vision.
"Damn! Did soone just jump from that thing?" they exclaid in disbelief as the figure slamd into the cloud.
BANG!
As if sothing earth-shattering had struck, the clouds exploded violently, fog billowing outward from the impact point.
Squinting through the haze, the n tried to see the figure rising from within it.
"What's that?" one of them muttered, noticing that Amon looked almost human…
Almost.
A pair of glowing red eyes stared out from the fog, causing several of them to shiver.
SWOOSH!
A sharp whistle cut through the air as a spear shot out from the fog at blinding speed, piercing straight through one man's heart and causing him to explode.
The blood splattered on the faces of a few as a look of horror appeared on their faces.
Gradually, the fog dispersed, revealing Amon with a maddened expression.
Clutching the axe in his hand, he looked like an evil beast wearing human skin.
"Kill!" Amon roared, his voice dripping with hunger for violence, and in the next instant, he moved at inhuman speed.
Supported by his movent battle art, he was already in front of one of the n.
"A… a demon! Arrrrgggghhhhh, save ! He's a demon!!!" the man scread as he tried to run, but—
A cold axe severed his neck instantly, fragnts of his head splattering onto the cloud.
One eyeball rolled to a stop in front of another man nearby.
Its pupil reflected the sheer terror etched onto the man's face.
He slowly raised his head, staring at the devil of destruction before him.
The mont he looked up, sothing heavy smashed into his chest.
CRACK!
The sound of bones breaking echoed through the air, followed by the sickening collapse of his heart.
"Kill! Kill, kill!" Amon roared as he dropped to his knees, tearing at his hair with a crazed expression.
At that mont, he resemble a handso devil who not only reveled in slaughter…
But was born for it.
