[Void Temple - First Floor]
Deep within the void forest, a red pagoda surrounded by thousands of beasts, each a monster in their own right, stood, oozing with Corrupted Void energy.
The red pagoda is segmented into five floors, each floor having a name written in the Aelthryn language, the mother tongue of all Void Beasts.
On the first floor, the name ’Temple Master of Annihilation’ has been carved on a dark plate and hung for all who could read to understand.
Inside this floor, all that could be seen is fire and lava. It was as if a volcano or series of volcanoes had erupted there and kept erupting, filling the entire region with both heat and fire.
Jagged mountains and a sea of lava could be seen everywhere.
Somewhere deep in this godforsaken place sat a towering demonic entity with obsidian skin split by molten void-flame veins. He is leaning fortably in his flaming throne, eyes closed, yet they continue to radiate flame.
He looks hideous and terrifying. Twin abyssal horns crown his head, and his core burns with flame and malice.
In his hand is a large chalice filled with red, scorching lava wine. The sheer heat ing off the wine is enough to incinerate anyone whose resistance to fire isn’t at the Perfect Immunity stage.
Suddenly, his eyes opened, causing the pressure in the air to increase.
"Hmm, someone is ing here finally." A twisted smile appeared on his face as his gaze pierced through the barriers of the void temple and toward a handsome dragon man who had just jumped into the Void Forest.
"It is going to be fun for sure." As if bored, he started to stir, pleasure appearing in his eyes. Kent’s arrival seems to make him happy.
On the outside, far from the void temple, all kinds of beasts, each not weaker than Tier 20 (Empyrean) stage beasts, started moving in the direction Kent was ing.
These beasts, although they look mutated, had yet to reach the level of Pseudo-Void Beasts pared to those much closer to the Void Temple.
They all heeded the call of the Temple Master of Annihilation and began moving toward the location where Kent would land.
It was like he was sending the cannon fodder to their death, but also to see the kind of person ing into the tower. The last time, 20 people came, but this time, only one.
He isnt dumb enough to think Kent entered by accident. He knew that for a lone figure to be sent here might mean he was no simple person.

Meanwhile, Kent, who had just jumped into the Void Forest, started falling at great speed. He allowed his weight to carry him since it was free-fall.
The Soul Map is active, allowing him to sense his surroundings and see 80,000km deep into the darkness.
"This place reeks of death," Kent muttered, falling like he had lost control. Suddenly, a thin sword appeared and flashed forward at an incredible speed, even greater than how fast Kent was falling.
Far ahead, a winged beast sensed Kent ing and moved toward him. However, before it could cross any distance, a thin 3-meter sword appeared and stabbed through its head.
There was no dodging it. Kent used the Soul Map to move it, so all it saw was a sword appear, and that was all.
Its blood essence appeared and flew toward Kent. But that wasn’t all he took. Considering the dead beast was within the range of the Soul Map, he drained its blood too.
He needed it to undergo his second Blood Cleansing Bath, so he needed the blood. As for the blood essence, it was absorbed by Kent.
Since there was no immediate threat to his life, he absorbed it directly instead of storing it inside the Soul Universe.
"As expected, the moment the mutation affects the beasts, their blood essence bees much stronger." Feeling the power of the blood essence he had absorbed, Kent felt the danger also.
The stronger the blood essence, the more dangerous they are. So while he would gain more by absorbing the blood essence, the opponents he would go against wouldn’t be a walk in the park.

The tower informed Kent after the scan detected 10 winged beasts, each at the Peak Heavenly Ascension stage. They have been affected by the Void Essence’s mutation too, but have yet to reach the Pseudo-Void Beast stage.
Kent summoned nine more swords, which he added to the one he used to kill the first beasts. The weapon-creation process he started in the Soul Universe ended with the creation of 41,000 three-meter-long swords and 30,000 3.5-meter-long spears.
Although all of them are one-time use only, unless they shatter, he can reuse them. It was only if the sword breaks on the outside that he cannot take them back.
The first sword he summoned killed the winged beasts, so he could have sent it back to the Soul Universe, where it would have absorbed soul essence and strengthened itself.
However, it still has more energy inside it to take care of the ten ining beasts.
Kent waited for the beasts to enter the 1000 km range. The moment they did, the ten swords moved and, like before, the beasts never saw the attack ing... well, one did.
Just when the sword was about to strike a spider-looking winged beast, two of its legs, which had mutated into metallic substance, were moved and deflected the sword.
"Oh."
Kent furrowed his brow when he saw this. The other nine were killed and had already been drained of all blood, but this one proved to be more agile.
And since it wasn’t struck head-on but was deflected, it didn’t lose its momentum. It closed the gap between it and Kent in an instant.
However, just when it saw the prey it was after, all ten swords it had ignored snuck up on him. This time, Kent aimed for both metallic legs and its wings.
With ten deadly swords stabbing at the same time, it wasn’t strong and fast enough to defend against them. It was quick and decisive, like one would expect an attack from a sword king.
However, Kent didn’t have a moment to rest; the next second, dozens more entered his scanning range.
He smiled and summoned a thousand swords, painting the air red. Soon, all that could be heard were the dying screams of the beasts that saw Kent to be easy prey, so they came for him.

[Outside]
On the outside, Thousand Blade quickly closed the portal that he had opened and even reinforced it some more. Then he turns to Black Arrow and Silent Requiem.
"Stand guard, I need to go back to the Immortal Realm and send a message to the God Realm. The leaders need to know Lord Faceless has returned."
"Rest assured, Thousand Blade, we will make sure no harm es to the seal."
They aren’t worried about what’s going on inside; there are dangers on the outside as well. They wouldn’t want such dangers to enter the Void Forest, not when their leader had just ventured inside.
After making sure everything was as it should be, Thousand Blade left quickly. With their leader now back, things wouldn’t be the same anymore.
