Annabelle clenched her fist, looking at Kent as if she wanted to bite him.
"Don't hurt yourself, Annabelle. I didn't e to look for trouble today. This is an alchemy petition, so why don't we finish that first?" He chuckled.
"Of course, if you want to die, you can also e against me now. I don't mind sending you off."
Kent smiled, but that smile made the seven watching him shudder in their seats.
Annabelle, in particular, who had witnessed Kent face her master the last time they went looking for trouble with him, shuddered more than they did.
'Don't do anything stupid, Annabelle.' Suddenly, her master's voice entered her mind, causing her to calm down.
"You better watch your back," she gritted her teeth, saying that.
"Oh, I will. But just like how the evil sect will soon fall, the same will happen to all those who will e after me. So bear that in mind," Kent smiled again before walking to a side and sitting down.
He took an apple from his tower storage and started munching on it, showing everyone that he wasn't worried about anything.
The Pill Tower has three floors. The petition will be held on the first floor. Right now, only the disciples who will be participating are around.
This was why there are many empty spaces left for those who will be ing to watch after tomorrow. Today was for those who hadn't registered yet.
The second floor is where the genius minds are, creating pill recipes and modifying already created ones to enhance their potency.
They stand for the true nature of the Pill Tower, the highest pill organization in the four kingdoms. It's accessible to Pill Grandmasters and above.
However, the third floor is for the Pill Saints. Aside from them, nobody has ever stepped there. That is where they meet to determine how the pill market should be regulated.
It's in the Athea Kingdom because merce is highly regulated there, and the Athea Kingdom is known for that. They are the richest kingdom among the four.
However, there is something else going on there, and until now, nobody knew about the sins of the Pill Saints. They may be the most important figures in the world, but they are no Saints at heart.
Today, they met again, but instead of discussing making the pill market more accessible, they decided to scheme and plot.
"I know you all know there is a brat here who has things we all need. I managed to form a good relationship with him and even got close; however, the mysteries around him are just too many.
I am not confident I alone can handle him, so I called you all here to e together and see if we can do something about it."
Pill Saint Barton said, revealing his true colors.
"If my information is valid, that brat has a relationship with Sword King Shawn, so what makes you think I would want to go against him, knowing who I will be going against?"
Pill Saint Desmond asked, looking at the Saint everyone regarded as friendly, yet he is the most poisonous of them all.
"He is one person, and we wouldn't be doing it ourselves, so what are you concerned about?" Pill Saint Barton said, sounding smug.
"Then who is stepping in for us? I doubt anybody would want to go against that Shawn bastard. Since he formed his Sword Realm and gained that enlightenment thanks to the fruit the brat gave him, he has bee obsessed with him.
I doubt he will lower his guard knowing he is out now. The chances of him even guarding his hotel every night are high. That shameless bastard," Pill Saint Devin said.
"Devin, sometimes I don't know if you and a pig are any different. How can a Pill Saint be as stupid as you?" Pill Saint Barton said, looking disdainfully at Pill Saint Devin.
"You—" The veins on Pill Saint Devin's face began to pop.
"What? Haven't you heard of the saying, 'The one closer to you is your biggest enemy'?" Barton smirked. "Do you think I will destroy my relationship with him when he hasn't fallen, or if there's no guarantee yet?
No.
On the surface, my disciple wouldn't target him, and I will laugh and have tea with him. But his life will be mine for the taking when that is over.
There are so many ways to kill him and take his treasures," he smiled evilly.
"You are not thinking of using those evil bastards," Pill Saint Evilyn, the queen of Athea Kingdom, who is also one scheming lady, asked, making Barton smile.
"Indeed. I have been informed by a credible source that he will enter the Battlefield with the Silver Leaf Auction House expedition team.
"If we pour our resources together, getting them to kill him wouldn't be a hassle."
"That would actually work, but what is the guarantee that we will get what we seek? For all we know, he has already hidden his treasures somewhere before ing out, thanks to those idiots from the evil sect."
Pill Saint Evilyn muttered, already looking a step ahead.
"Oh, but we don't need his dead body. That is useless. We only need his soul, and thankfully for us, we have someone who can extract anything from any soul captured." Pill Saint Barton turned toward the wicked Poison Witch.
"What do you think, Poison Witch? Do you have what it takes to get what we want from him if we get his soul?. The last time I checked, you and he aren't on speaking terms."
"That is as easy as it can be. But I will take 20% of the treasures, including at least one of the battle dolls."
There is no denying her claims. They wouldn't be getting anything without her, so though her demands are just too much, they couldn't deny that.
"Fine. But failure is not an option," Pill Saint Barton glared at her.
"Unlike you, I am reliable," the wicked Poison Witch smirked. However, her mind was doing a different thing.
'That brat knew I was poison, meaning he somehow figured out my true identity. Since that is the case, I can use this to my advantage.' She looked at the six Pill Saints and smiled in her head.
'I hate schemers. So since that is the case, I will bee a snitch to get what I want. Sorry, you six, but you will fail, and I will be the reason for that.'
