By making Arien, Indie, and Liora his wives, Kent is now free to speak about his life as the Chaos Dragon. After all, it was in that life that he t Elina, who changed his life forever.
And even after billions of years, she seems to still have a hold on his life.
"I know you ladies are still worried about what happened. I know I would be if it happened to any of you."
The ladies sighed, nodding slightly. They kept their smiles, but deep within, they were worried about him. Thankfully, Tower managed to find the root and a way to lower their worry or even wipe it away for good.
"You all have to know that I am indeed fine. However, to make sure you truly understand what happened, I would have to tell you about soone who had, in a way, changed my life in ways nobody, not even the universe, saw coming."
The ladies quieted down and started to listen.
"I know most of you know I was once known as the Chaos Dragon." They nodded. The ladies who were hearing it for the first ti and knew sothing about the Chaos Dragon beca stunned.
Kent continued his narration since that was the least he could do... "I was indeed the Primordial Chaos Dragon.
However, while the universe painted my image as the most powerful existence to ever live, the truth was that all my power ca from a place of pain and anger...
This pain, of course, ca from a human lady called Elina."
Alina raised her brow, hearing her na ntioned. However, Kent just smiled. "Her na is Elina, but not the sa as yours."
She nodded but was intrigued to hear that.
"Before I beca famous, I was rely a battle-hungry dragon whose instincts were always to fight, kill, and ask questions later.
I single-handedly liberated my world, a small planet of beasts known as Lun, from the tyrants who ruled it, becoming the planet's protector.
Thanks to , all those who dared to invade that planet were t with an unreasonable dragon who always went for the kill. I had killed thousands and was hungry for more.
However, that all changed when Elina and her people invaded Lun as well. Back then, I tried to apply reason and talk to them; however, they looked down on , so I killed them, except for one, who tried to reason with .
Elina wasn't like the rest of them. She was different, and in a way, she managed to catch my attention, and so I kept her alive.
Later, I got to know her, and slowly we learned to trust each other.
Once we beca friends, Elina took away from Lun to experience life outside my small planet. I accepted the offer and left with her.
Eventually, I began to learn to be more human, and with Elina's help, I started making human friends, sothing the real Chaos Dragon would never have beco if he had remained in Lun for even a few more years.
Elina taught how to have empathy and cherish the help people rendered ." Kent smiled weakly.
"However, as you ladies may have already guessed, during the process of rehabilitating the most dangerous beast back then, Elina started developing feelings for Chaos.
The only thing was, Chaos had no idea what the subtle laughs, the hand-holding, and the small gifts ant. Naturally, it wasn't his fault. The concept of love wasn't in his nature.
However, he was also subconsciously developing feelings for Elina. Years later, they beca the best of friends. However, to Elina, they were more than that.
Chaos never seed to recognize her feelings, so when news ca that the Forsaken Race had started their rampage, Elina had to send Chaos away to protect his planet.
She, too, had to protect her own world. Eventually, they parted ways.
However, it was after they parted that Chaos started to recognize his feelings. But with the threat of the Forsaken Race coming, he remained in his world.
Months later, after the Forsaken Race didn't show up, he planned to go back to Elina. However, Elina had told him to stay behind for as long as it would take, just until the Forsaken Race threat had passed.
As it turned out, while Chaos was guarding his world, Elina was fighting for her life and that of her family and people. By the ti Chaos beca aware, it was already too late.
He only found her dead body. As it turned out, he truly loved her, and it was only after she died that he realized it. But the deed had already been done."
The ladies wiped their tears, while Unity seed to have finally realized why the Chaos Dragon had been cold and distant when they t back then.
Of course, as ladies, they were saddened by what happened to Elina. They knew how loving Kent could be, so hearing his first existence had lost what was dear to him struck a chord of sadness in their hearts.
"I don't like to say it like this, but it was thanks to her death that I realized my true strength. It was because of her death that the Chaos Dragon who rose up to beco the pillar the universe leaned on was born."
"I am sorry, Kent. We didn't know sothing that tragic happened to you," Unity, the sweet one, said, tears rolling down her cheek.
"It is not your fault, Unity... It is none of your faults," Kent wiped her tears and made sure she was okay.
"Elina is alive... She has reincarnated, and I was planning to go find her. I know where she is, but I have no idea whether she is safe and happy or if she is in pain.
That was why I lost it when I learned that a few friends I made thousands of years back are in danger in the Immortal Realm. It turned out, I subconsciously triggered my fear I had been suppressing, and that caused to lose my mind."
"What planet is she on?" Vexthra asked, feeling sad.
"I don't know, but I know she is in a galaxy called Astralis Veil. I already found a way to get close to the edge of this galaxy. I will soon find a way to cross over to that galaxy and hopefully get to her much faster."
Vexthra suddenly stood up. "I have to go back to the God Realm."
"Why?" Kent clearly didn't expect to hear that.
"Crossing over a galaxy in a high world is super dangerous. The boundary between galaxies is known as Chaotic Space. Inside this space are beings known as Spatial Beasts.
They are just like the Forsaken Race; there are no limits on them, so you can even et a god-level Spatial Beast there.
So I want to go ask a favor from the Space God and see if I can get him to help you cross over safely."
"Oh, I see." Still, he didn't like it, but he knew Vexthra would go anyway, so the least he could do was allow her.
"Big sister, how long will you be gone for?"
"Just a couple of days on the outside, so for you ladies, about five months. If you will miss too much, then you can go to the city and spend regular ti there."
They nodded.
They all wanted Elina to be saved and brought back to where she belonged, so helping in any way they could was the best thing they could do.
"Also, I am not a Faceless Agent." Kent smiled mysteriously, telling them he heard all they had said while he was out.
"I was once known as the Faceless Assassin... you see?"
