Kent didn't know how long had passed. However, when he woke up, his surroundings had completely changed.

Instead of the familiar frigid environnt on the stairway, he is now resting on the shore of a blue beach. Crystal marbles line the beach, even acting as bedding for him to sleep on.

The gentle touch of the water against his body was what woke him. The air is clean, and the sense of peace could be felt from the calmness enveloping him from all sides.

Kent remained on the ground for a few minutes, just staring at the blue clouds.

'Back in middle school, they said water is colourless, that it only reflects the colour of the sky. Now watching this sky, I guess I understood why the sea is blue,' Kent said inwardly, a small smile appearing on his face.

He had no idea where he was. However, he wasn't in a hurry to leave. The place is just too magical and peaceful for him to go just like that. In fact, he remained in his relaxed position, just letting the current pass over him.

Watching the beautiful birds speed across the blue sky and the lovely sound of water dripping through the stones in the water, he couldn't be any more relaxed.

Eventually, Kent slowly pushed himself into a sitting position, letting the cool breeze brush against his skin. The scent of the sea carried a strange sweetness, almost like flowers blooming sowhere beyond sight.

He took a deep breath, allowing the tranquillity to settle deeper into him, sothing he hadn't felt in a long while.

'Maybe I should take up the Old Man's offer and visit the Serenity of Life and Peace Garden. Even Vexthra speaks highly of them.'

That place is where one goes to tune one's mind back to reality and find peace. Many cultivators lose their sense of self after thousands of years in seclusion or training. When that happens, they usually need a reality check to return to their true selves.

So they go to the Serenity of Life and Peace Garden for guidance on achieving that. Of course, many go there for the peace and tranquillity of the environnt.

It is the only place where, regardless of how evil you are, once you step there, you must beco obedient.

So, feeling the calmness and peace sitting on the shore of this beautiful beach, he couldn't help but wonder how peaceful his life would be if he were to go there and experience their teachings.

As he looked around, he noticed that the crystal marbles scattered across the beach emitted a faint glow whenever the waves touched them.

Each pulse of light rippled outward like tiny stars winking to life. Kent reached out and picked one up, feeling a warm, soothing sensation spread across his fingertips. It was as if the marble itself was alive, responding to his touch.

The entire environnt and objects are just magical.

"This is amazing," he muttered, further interacting with the marbles.

'This place… it doesn't feel real,' he thought, gently rolling the marble in his palm. Yet the more he stared at the scenery around him, the more grounded he felt.

The blue sky reflected perfectly on the surface of the sea, creating an endless horizon where the world seed to stretch far beyond what he could imagine.

"I could get used to this place." Kent took a deep breath, letting the soothing air wash through his chest. He closed his eyes, as if to tap into the gentle healing nature of the breeze, and let it hit his body.

In no ti, his mind was slowly drifting into the tranquillity of everything.

"When you are done having the ti of your life, you can join ." Suddenly, a sweet, cold, and relaxed voice entered Kent's head, causing him to turn to his left.

The sight that greeted him was that of a blue-haired beauty with two soft, luminous antennae on her forehead, walking toward a jade marble house that had miraculously appeared out of thin air.

Every step she takes freezes the ground behind her. Even her hair is leaving a trail of frozen frost behind her as she moves.

Kent instantly stood up and ran after her. In no ti, he was standing before the jade marble building. The lady entered the makeshift house, but she left the door open.

However, Kent didn't dare enter. He had this nagging feeling that entering the house would be bad for him. So for ten good minutes, he remained on the outside and let her take her ti to co out.

Eventually, she did, holding two kitchen stools. She locked gaze with Kent for a few seconds before she handed him one of the stools.

She sat down, and Kent did the sa.

For a minute, nothing else was said between them. However, Kent knew the lady would start the conversation, so he remained relaxed and let her have all the ti in the world.

It is her domain after all.

"So you have already t Bhaalzhar," she suddenly said, and Kent nodded.

She nodded and smiled... "I am Ylthariel Vaelcryss, the Sovereign of Ice. One of the six True Primordials."

Kent didn't seem surprised by this. A part of him had already co to this conclusion when he first locked gaze with her. So hearing her say it was, in a way, normal to him.

However, Kent went ahead and said sothing to avoid making things awkward... "I am Kent."

"I know. Kent Madson, the Chaos Dragon." She smiled and waved her hand, manifesting a scene of when Kent stepped on the 1000th step.

"You are smart, so I know you know why you are here. However, before that, I want you to tell what you think of Ice. In simple terms, what is ice?"

Kent looked at her, then at the calm blue sea stretching endlessly behind her. Ice… of all elents, it was the one he understood the least.

When it cos to fire, he is currently wielding it since that is his soul fla.

Chaos energy, he embodied simply because he is the Primordial Chaos Dragon. Although he had yet to develop the ability to wield it in combat, he at least would survive in a chaotic region.

He would also interact positively with Chaos energy because, at his core, he can harness Chaos energy.

Lightning, he also has lightning affinity, though he has yet to make any progress cultivating it. He is also familiar with wind since it is what he harnesses for flight.

As for darkness, he had only recently gained an affinity for it, so he could harness it to so extent. In a way, he had touched most of the elents.

But ice? It had yet to gain so understanding of it. He is completely clueless about Ice. In a way, this is his first ti taking an interest in the ice elent.

"I think…" Kent paused, choosing his words slowly and carefully, "Ice is cold. Still. Detached. It preserves, but it freezes everything it touches."

Ylthariel listened without blinking, her luminous antennae dimming slightly as if absorbing his words. The faint frost under her feet spread a little farther.

"Ice is, in essence, the core of water."

She blinks.
