It takes one with both confidence and absolute strength, and so form of craziness, to willingly walk into a trap, knowing the outco can't be determined based on assumption.
A preplanned trap always has layers of reinforcent to ensure it captures the one they want.
Walking into the teleportation gate, Kent knew there was danger waiting for him on the other side. However, inasmuch as he would like to turn and leave, learning that the one involved is a forsaken seer, his anger had clouded his judgnt.
The endga is always to uproot the forsaken race from the face of the universe.
To many, the forsaken race had been sealed away. However, to Kent, he knew one day, they would co, and many would die as before.
So to prevent that, he wouldn't let any opportunity to kill, even if a dozen of them passed him by. He is too committed to let such a chance slip away.
Hatred and heartbreak have a way of making even the best of society extrely bitter.
In the end, Kent walked through the teleportation gate only to appear at the centre of a killing formation created by thousands of dragons.
"Hmmm"
Kent made a low hum, slowly lifting his eye to see what danger he had stepped into.
His gaze t that of a pale-looking lady with white horns and a thin ring of Immortal Qi moving around her. She has a slender physique, with little to see on her chest and back.
However, the look in her eyes – piercing and scrutinising – told Kent that he had indeed stepped into a wild one.
'A Root Immortal,' Kent made no facial expression. However, deep down, his heart was beating wildly. 'Oh, this is going to be fun.'
[How is this going to be fun, master? From what I see, we have a peak Root Immortal, who is a forsaken being. 4 high-level Root Immortals, also forsaken beings. 200 Death stage, 1200 Life stage, 20,000 Empyreans, and over 400,000 Heavenly Ascension stage cultivators with nothing but murder in their eyes.
I may not be a person, but there is no way this is going to be fun at all.]
Kent smiled and shook his head, 'Maybe to them. However, from where I stand, I see billions of Tower Points, Blood Essence, and Soul Spirits begging to harvest them.
If that is not going to be fun, then I don't know what would.'
[You are crazy.]
'No, I am not. My mom had tested.'
Kent chuckled.
There are only 24 forsaken beings. Five of them are Immortals, and the rest are dragons with forsaken blood in them. This allowed them to bypass the limit of high worlds, allowing most of them to reach the Death stage. Kent had already encountered soone before with a similar arrangent.
However, unlike him, who failed to complete the rger of the two bloodlines, the dragons seem to have achieved that, lifting the planet restriction off the cultivation.
However, Kent knew, deep down, that things aren't as simple as they appear. Even so, he let the mont beco funny to him.
He didn't expect dragons to go into bed with the forsaken race... not when their ancestor, the Chaos Dragon, had killed billions of them.
"Are you having your last smile before a Forsaken King takes over your body?" Suddenly, the pale-looking lady whom Kent knew to be the forsaken seer spoke, a wave of Immortal Qi mixed with forsaken qi pouring from her body.
Kent stopped smiling and focused his attention on her. "And you are—"
The pale lady turned ashen, her expression switching between anger and embarrassnt.
"Insolent." Suddenly, a death stage forsaken being lunged at Kent, a spear aid for his chest, waves of forsaken qi emitting from it.
"Tch," Kent chuckled and raised his right index finger. Waves of ice condensed at the tip, causing the space around him to turn cold. Then, with a sudden command, he shot a thin beam of ice.
"Begone."
The ice beam moved faster than the wind and drew a thin hole through his forehead. No blood ca out, just the sudden and instant snuffing of life that the forsaken man used to hold dear to his chest.
His body stopped midair and fell, slamming to the ground with a loud thud.
'Although I hate you bastards, you sure have potent blood essence.' Kent chuckled, feeling the potent energy wash into his [Blood Core.]
He raised his head and looked at the forsaken seer. "Well, care to tell who you are and why you placed a curse on the mother of my little friend? Also, while you're at it, care to tell where the four you took are?"
The ashen expression on her face turned cold. Then she lifted her staff and, with a cold tone, spoke... "I, Atarah, would make sure that before your body is taken away, you would suffer."
"Looks like we share the sa thought. However, while killing you all 24 will give pleasure, the rest of you... as a fellow dragon, I am very disappointed in you.
Where is your pride as a dragon? Bending over to let the forsaken race fuck you is the last thing I ever expected from you lot."
The thousands of dragons roared, releasing powerful dragon authority, all aid at Kent.
"Oh, please, stop tickling ."
Kent extended his hands, and they turned into razor-sharp claws ending in piercing talons.
"KILL HIM BUT KEEP HIS BODY INTACT!" Atarah commanded, and Kent felt the weight of attacks co from all directions.
The first barrage of attacks slamd toward him like a collapsing star. He, a lone dragon, stood under a devastating barrage of attacks, all coming from beings that could flatten any High World.
'Tower, say roughly, how much in Tower Points would I be earning after this slaughter?' Instead of fear, Kent chose to calculate his gains.
He is facing five Immortals and hundreds of Death-stage cultivators, after all, not to ntion the thousands of others.
[The master can rest assured that he will be paying off his debt if he lives to tell the tale.]
'Ah, lucky .'
Waves of deadly dragon breath, Immortal Qi blasts, and chaotic flas blasted toward him, tearing the air like it was made of paper.
The world trembled for miles, space vibrating violently under the crushing force directed at him.
Kent didn't move.
Instead, he simply narrowed his eyes at the approaching danger… and the temperature around him plumted.
A do of pale-blue frost erupted from beneath his feet, expanding outward like a blooming flower. It expanded large enough before coming to a halt.
Every attack that entered the frost domain slowed, thickened, and then froze mid-flight.
Dragon flas turned to ice sculptures, Immortal Qi beams shattered like they were re brittle glass, and physical strikes stopped completely as though the world itself paused.
"I love ice." Kent grinned.
With a flick of his wrist, the frozen barrage exploded into powdery dust.
ROAR
A chaotic roar escaped his mouth, causing the hundreds of thousands of dragons to feel their bodies tense.
"Let the killing begin." Kent locked his eyes on two of the Root Immortals. His claws glimred coldly, then, tapping into the soul map's scanning range, he vanished and reappeared behind one of them.
