The mont Kent stepped out of the Ice fortress he built for his short seclusion, it crumbled. Gaap floated down, his expression calm as he scanned Kent for a few seconds before he smiled.
"Looks like you have reached a milestone, Master. Congratulations."
Kent smiled and nodded, "Thank you, Gaap. I have indeed made big progress this ti. But so did you. I can feel the changes."
"I didn't sit idle either. Although I couldn't break the first seal since we are still in a high world, I managed to form a Resentful Tattoo that lets tap into 30% of the first seal's powers.
I believe that will be enough for the adventure ahead of us." Gaap said with an enthusiastic smile. He is thrilled and ready for the adventure ahead.
He is a living sword that had once fought in an era-ending battle, so obviously, just 30% of his first sealed power isn't going to be small.
Kent may not want to say it, but whenever he wields Gaap, the hidden power he feels buried deep within him is just terrifying. He said he had 9 seals to break as he continues to grow.
So Kent is ready to see what he has in store for him.
With the two of them working together, the next battles ahead of them would be much more manageable. Kent had beco a monster in his own right, so he was ready for anything.
"That is good to hear. In any case, we have to move. The faster we clear the temple, the better," Gaap nodded, and they started flying toward the Void Temple.
During the ten days of massacre, he passed by the Void Temple, so he knew where to go now. Although it isn't within the scan radius of his soul map, the mont they moved for 5 minutes, Kent saw the temple. However, he didn't teleport to it.
They took their dear ti and flew to it.
After a few more minutes, they arrived at the red pagoda.
"Looks beautiful for a void temple," Gaap said, his expression calm. The pagoda stood majestically, the power of the void oozing off it.
If one is not aware, they would think it is a treasure, but once they enter, they would know it is anything but a treasure. The horrors hidden within it are no joke.
Kent didn't know much about the Void Temple masters hidden in this particular Void Temple. However, he had already ranked them as so of the most powerful beings during the Primordial Era, so he is prepared for anything.
But then again, what he didn't know was that the temple masters are like criminals in the Void Beast Race, sent to sohow contribute to the cause of the Void Beasts.
They aren't their best; however, many succeeded, and many also died at the claws of the Chaos Dragon and a few brave others. Now, it seems they would be eting him again, and this ti, Kent plans to make it his mission to go after them before they cause too much damage.
The invasion of the Void Beast is destined to happen; however, he would not allow the criminals of the Void Beast Race to run rampant in his universe.
"There is a chance the mont we enter, we would be attacked, so be ready," Kent said to Gaap, who nodded and transford into his sword form.
Kent grabbed hold of him and slowly started walking toward the entrance leading to the first floor of the void temple.
A few seconds later, he stood at the entrance, his expression calm. He had done this many tis before, but that doesn't an it was fun.
"Maybe I would enjoy it this ti around."
After taking a deep breath, Kent walked through and appeared on scorched earth. The mont he walked through the door, he found himself standing at the centre of a lava sea.
"Well, that is also one way to start things..." Kent looked around, but aside from the sea of lava, there was nothing else in sight.
"Strange, they usually attack the mont you appear. They've nearly killed a few tis in the past with that move. So why is the temple master not here?"
Kent beca puzzled. What he knew from the Primordial Era had proven to be wrong this ti around. The attack he anticipated never ca. That wasn't how he rembered the Void Beasts, so this took him by surprise.
However, he didn't let it get to him. He opened the soul map, and the 80,000 km appeared within his sensing range.
All around, he saw nothing but a sea of lava. However, he also saw sothing akin to a trail which led west. So he teleported to the edge of his soul map toward the west and, expanding the sensing range again, saw dry ground, though lava channels ran everywhere.
"If I am not mistaken, this is a Primordial Void Fla. If I get so more fla treasures, I am sure forming my second fla core wouldn't be too hard."
[That is indeed true. However, the master must first clear the temple of all dangers before he can do that.]
Kent is, of course, aware of that, so he started moving in the direction of the dried ground. After teleporting five more tis, Kent saw who he had co for, seated on a flaming throne, his gaze burning in an unholy radiance.
He is about 4 ters tall and has obsidian skin split by molten void-fla veins. A deadly flaming scythe rested on the back of his fla throne, his gaze locked on Kent.
"You are finally here," he asked, his expression burning like a tsunami.
"Took a minute, but I am indeed here. I have, after all, entered this godforsaken place for you ugly bastards."
"So you know who I am." There seems to be a hint of surprise in his fla-lit eyes. They, after all, are Void Beasts, so he never expected soone in this era to be aware of their existence.
They only existed during the Primordial Era.
"There is no way I wouldn't know who you are, fella. I have always dreamt of when you losers would show up again. I an, after you were miserably defeated and driven away like a bunch of losers the last ti."
BOOM
The taunt got to the temple master, so his fury exploded, causing the space around him to burst into flas. Lava gushed out, spraying all around.
"No need to throw a tantrum. I doubt you were even born back then. But even if you were, considering how pitiful your people were back then, you would have died like a bug, crashed like a nut.
So be grateful for that. However, since you are here, then despair, for I have co to do what we couldn't during the Primordial Era."
BOOM
Kent's own killing intent exploded, and at once, the air inside the first floor of the void temple turned grim. Kent's new and improved killing intent had already reached a whole new level.
"I, Vhar'Zeth, the first temple master of fire, will slay you and use your blood to—"
"Cut the shit, bastard." Kent arrived in front of him and struck with his sword. With danger coming, Vhar'Zeth was forced to keep his mouth shut and retaliate.
BOOM
He was sent flying, his flaming scythe flying out from his hand.
