While the ladies and the legion are busy working on breaking their limits and awakening their innate talents, Kent was also hard at work, using all his understanding to create a weapon of mass destruction: the Death Star Cannon.
The idea is to create sothing that can absorb the pressure his soul goes through when he activates the Underworld Soul River for more than ten seconds.
From the idea he had in mind, he would create a containnt-type treasure that would absorb the pressure that would co from his soul.
Once that is absorbed, he also planned on adding a cannon, one that would direct the pressure he had absorbed into a concentrated beam.
He wouldn't just be creating a container to store the pressure. Kent is an overachiever, so he aims to create a concentrated beam that can kill even powerful foes.
If he is going to suffer soul pressure, he might as well benefit from it.
Thankfully, he had already seen what he wanted to create many tis back on Earth. He even used LEGO to build it, just like any kid, teenager, or adult. Although it is not the sa thing, since he planned to make modifications, he has a general idea, and now all he needs to do is handle the absorption function and how to convert it into a beam.
So for the past few days, he had been inside the Soul Universe working on the foundation of the Death Star Cannon.
He had made so much progress; however, he still lacks sothing crucial: how to compress the pressure into a source worthy of becoming a beam.
He already figured out how to absorb the pressure and also transform it into a beam. However, that isn't the only thing he is after. If he were to directly shoot the beam after absorbing it, the beam would be rather weak.
However, if he compresses it and channels it through the cannon, then there is no telling just what kind of unholy armant he would be creating.
He also aims to use the Underworld Soul River more, so he needs a way to store more pressure and save it over ti for use when he truly needs it.
So aside from rely compressing it, he also needs to create a containnt for the stored pressure.
"Let review this again," Kent said, using his fingers as counters.
"I need to create a way to absorb the soul pressure that would be produced from keeping the Underworld Soul River active for over ten seconds.
Then I must compress that pressure into a minute form, perfect for channelling into a beam, and also store them.
But once compressed, if I didn't need it right away, I would have to store it and keep it contained, or it would explode within my Soul Universe.
Once that is achieved, the next thing is to transform it into a beam and fire." He took a breather, and then he let a weak smile appear on his face.
"Compressing and storing is now the issue. There is just too much volatility if I don't handle it well. However, if I were to first break it down and compress, then there would also be severe loss, the kind that would make it difficult to even store it."
He laughed and then sent his mind back to his life on Earth. Before he beca a movie director, he was one of the brilliant computer engineers. He had two master's degrees in computer engineering, so he could be considered a prodigy.
However, here he was, cracking his brain to solve a mystical problem. What he is attempting is sothing impossible when many paraters are included.
Compressing pressure and turning it into a beam is just not possible.
So, despite being a prodigy in engineering and technology, what he is attempting is not easily solved.
He needed to understand the nature of things and how best to handle all forms of variables before attempting to compress pressure, let alone store it.
"This is so interdinsional shit; however, I didn't get my two master's degrees by playing around. This is where I apply it."
Kent dug deep into his mind, reviewing many engineering formulas and doing his best to make sense of them. If he can't solve the mystery with mysticism, then he must apply technology.
Several hours later, an idea popped into his mind, making him smile weakly.
"This could work."
He waved his hand, and a pen appeared. Then, like drawing in the air, he drew a much smaller version of the Death Star Cannon. Then, once that was done, he created several tentacles and linked them to the main weapon.
Then, at the end of each tentacle, he drew several orbs (containers).
"If I can't compress and store the soul pressure in the sa chamber, then why not store them in separate chambers. This way, I just need to tap into the chambers separately and unleash the compressed pressure stored in them."
A smile appeared on his face as he watched the architecture of what he aid to achieve float before him.
"This could indeed work. Although it would take a lot more soul essence, there is no doubt that this is the solution. I can even add more storage orbs later, should in case Ineed more."
Kent allowed himself to feel proud. Then, once that was out of the way, he refined the architecture and system design, ensuring every atomic detail was refined and perfected.
Once all these things were in order, he initiated the creation process.
[Creation Process of the Death Star Cannon has started. Duration: 60 days]
"It can take all the ti in the universe. As long as the end product cos out how I wanted, I have no problem with how long it would take."
Kent stayed inside the Soul Universe for a few more minutes before coming out. Once he was out, he looked up and gazed at the portal to the 5th floor of the Void Temple open.
"I hope the next opponent is strong enough so they can push to use more of the Underworld Soul River. If possible, I want to even be able to use the Blood Calamity Fist."
It is no exaggeration to say he had been disappointed in the Void Temple masters so far. They didn't pose much threat to him, not even by a long shot. So he was disappointed.
However, he is also aware that he has beco much stronger than when he entered the Void Forest, so there is that. But he expected better from them.
"Gaap, let's go. The faster we finish this, the better. We can even focus on other things."
Gaap nodded and transford into his sword form and flew into Kent's hand. Then, with a sudden leap, he entered the portal.

[5th Floor]
Just when Kent appeared on the 5th floor, his gaze turned cold, and a pale look appeared on his face. Suddenly, his body froze in place, and, as if he were being moved, an invisible force took hold of him and pulled him forward.
He travelled several km in less than a second. When he was freed, his gaze turned even colder, and the paleness on his face beca even whiter.
