At the Pill Emperor stage, Kent would have to master making Tier 11 and 12 pills before he could ascend to the rank of a Pill Monarch. Unlike the Pill King stage, where he only concocted Tier 10 pills, the Pill Emperor stage is a bit different.
But he had received the knowledge of a Pill Emperor. He had received pill formulas and a whole lot that he could make good use of to master Tier 11 and 12 pill making.
Just like how he received the Pill King knowledge that aided him in making a Tier 10 pill to the point he even managed to refine a pill ring, he had yet again received such priceless knowledge, and that is just wonderful.
However, despite receiving this knowledge, there is an issue with the things contained in this piece of pill knowledge. These changes made him understand that he may have previously underestimated what goes into pill-making.
To him, the re fact that he was able to concoct a Tier 10 Mind Cleansing Pill ans he can forever make more if he has the ingredients.
He believed he required only one recipe to make any rank of pill. Of course, in most cases, one requires only a single recipe for any rank of pill. But that isn't always the case.
First, he discovered that, aside from rely having the recipe and ingredients, as a pill's rank increases, the recipe can change too. This ans a recipe for Innate Talent awakening can change as the rank of the pill increases. The recipe for a Tier 5 pill is not the sa as the recipe for a Tier 12 pill.
So the first thing he did was examine all the new recipes he had received and match them against what he already knew. The result was rather shocking.
Most of the recipes he knew had undergone changes that required more ti to update, or else risk wasting ingredients and, to so extent, even his life.
Concocting the wrong pill can be dangerous most of the ti. So he worked on updating his knowledge.
Once that was handled, he proceeded to his refinent techniques. He had received quite a few techniques and updates to the ones he already had.
Even the pill ring refinent art had undergone so qualitative upgrade.
After he handled that, he dove into the healing aspect of an Alchemist and updated his knowledge there, too. It is not always about knowing the right pill; knowing which pill to use to cure a disease is also important.
In the end, he made sure his understanding of alchemy as a Pill Emperor was on point.
It was only then that he turned to the requirents to beco a Pill Monarch.

Kent laughed, reading through the knowledge he had received from the Pill Celestial Kevin Sage. From what he could siphon from the knowledge, it was impossible to refine an azure pill ring for any pill below Tier 13.
That is just not possible.
To be able to attempt that, he needs more essence-rich ingredients, which can only be found from Tier 13 and upward. Tier 12 and below don't have enough vitality to have the necessary essence to even attempt such a thing.
So, asking him to attempt such a thing and even have the audacity to recomnd as low as a Tier 10 pill is just telling him to stop dreaming, that he would never beco a Pill Monarch in this life or the next.
"If Pill Celestial Kevin Sage said it is impossible, who am I to argue?" Kent grinned and started reading through the techniques he had received again.
He paid more attention to those that can aid him in extracting the dicinal essence from the ingredients and those used for burning impurities.
Before he even starts to think about refining an Azure pill ring, he must master extracting pill essence to the most perfect state. He must master extracting dicinal essence from any ingredient to the point that not even an atom of impurity will be in it.
And well, while that is also impossible to so degree, many legendary alchemists have achieved it before, so he can try to do so as well.
If he manages to extract all essence from ingredients, technically, he can attempt refining an azure pill ring.
But even if he can't do that, he can attempt the next best option, which is making sure he can burn impurities without burning even a single drop of essence.
That too is impossible, but doable to so extent. If he wants to even have an inkling chance of refining an Azure pill ring, then he must master one of these two, or both if possible.
But before that, there is a lot he must learn.
"I need to go back and start the process from a Tier 1 pill. If I want to perform a 100% extraction, I need to start from the basics and work my way up.
Once that is achieved at the Tier 10 stage, I will move to Tier 11 and then Tier 12. When all that is done, I will move to impurity burning, which I will follow with the sa process.
I have all the ti and resources, so there is no need to be stingy about this. I need to beco soone whose knowledge of alchemy is not limited to what I inherited from my past life.
If Pill Celestial Kevin Sage said it is impossible, I will make it happen. Who knows, I might just beco a legend in pill making, even surpassing my past self."
Kent laughed, then he started arranging the kinds of pills he would be working with. He must make sure he achieves what he was after with more than one pill. Only then would he be happy if he succeeded.
Two hours later, thousands of pill ingredients filled the pill room. He spent 20 million tower points purchasing all kinds of pill ingredients for ten different pills.
Since he is now swimming in tower points, he cut no corners, making sure he went all in and hoped he achieved what he was after in the end.
If he wants to beco a Pill Monarch, he must do the impossible.
After he rested for three days, he started from Tier 1 again, this ti putting all his thoughts into pill making.
It will take him a couple of trials to achieve what he is after, but at least that will make him happy in the end. He is obsessed with the sword simply because, a long ti ago, he was all about becoming a swordsman.
He had already seen how much he put into mastering his swordsmanship, so he understood his obsession.
Now, he had to beco obsessed with alchemy simply because he was once obsessed with it. He may not have the mories of that life, but he has the knowledge he has built over the years.
If he can put the sa obsession into pill-making as he did with swordsmanship, then who knows what he would achieve with alchemy?
He already has the knowledge; the only thing left is to make sure he masters those thods and develops his own way of using them to accomplish his goal.
It wouldn't be too late to consider creating his own refining techniques based on the knowledge he has so far.
