Vexthra took the book from Lani and looked at the mission details. After reading it herself, she read it aloud to everyone, then turned back to Lani. "Black mission from the get-go, huh?"
"I didn't expect that, but I suppose that is what I have to deal with right now," Lani answered, not a bit scared.
She had been tasked by the Death Note to kill a True Immortal, while she herself is only a Heavenly Ascension-stage cultivator. That is seven realms above her
But despite the clear disadvantage she faced, she seed okay and calm.
"Can you kill a True Immortal?" Vexthra asked, a bit amused, considering she herself had once fought a True Immortal when she was a mortal. However, her situation was a bit different.
She was a Death-stage warrior back then, so the gap between them was much lower than what Lani will be facing now. It is even a bit ridiculous to consider the idea of a Heavenly Ascension-stage mortal facing a True Immortal.
"If I can get within 10 ters of him, then he is as good as dead."
"Ten ters is a big ask. He is a True Immortal, so even if he is the weakest True Immortal in the Universe, there is just no way you can sneak up on him- not even within a 100-ter radius," Vexthra revealed, causing the ladies to sigh.
"I believe it is possible if all variables are put at the right places," Zaila said, making everyone turn to her. Seeing she had their attention, she smiled.
"Think about this. When it cos to True Immortals, like big sister said, they are sensitive. They are not easily deceived. So instead of using ways to sneak up on them, why not make it so he wouldn't know he had been snuck up on?"
"What are you hinting at?" Elsa asked.
"Nothing too fancy. At first, I thought, why not allow Alina to create the greatest concealnt formation for Lani to deploy when she is in position? To so extent, that can work, but it wouldn't be enough.
The True Immortal would notice.
However, the mission only said she can take two aids; it said nothing about taking other weapons with her. This ans Alina can create a powerful concealnt formation for her.
Elsa can create a powerful soul attack, which we just have to transform into a talisman for her. And lastly, Princess Lovina can cook her most lethal poison for her weapon.
Then, in action, I can join her and use my mind attacks to disturb the bastard's mind for a second. I believe that will give Lani all the ti in the world to execute her move."
The ladies nodded in agreent with Zaila's reasoning. With Alina's brilliance, she can indeed work sothing out. As for Elsa, she has the strongest soul attacks since she is a soul cultivator.
Princess Lovina would finally get to reveal her hand and share the poisons she had been working on for the past couple of months with her sisters.
It is a good plan, but not perfect.
"There is one thing you are missing, ladies," Vexthra said, drawing everyone's attention. "You are missing the part where the target is a True Immortal."
"While Zaila can indeed buy Lani a second to make her move, let's consider things from a True Immortal's perspective. If she were to be 0.0001 second late, her advantage would be taken from her.
But even if she manages to pull a fast one, let's take a step back and consider a few details from the mission description.
First, it said the bastard is the youngest son of the Dark King. Obviously, such a person would have many people protecting him.
What if he were to have an Immortal King protecting him, or worse, multiple Immortal Kings?" The ladies' expressions changed.
"That is not all. The mission ends in two days, so you have no ti to scout and create a better plan. This ans you are going in blind, and while that can be solved if I were to send Axiom or even a demigod with you, the mission again wants you to personally kill the bastard.
So you must consider the formations they would have in place and how to escape after the kill." Vexthra chuckled. "But here is where it gets dark. The mission wants you to kill the bastard, but it also requires you to save the Heavens Daughter."

Lani turned pale, her previous confidence washed away, replaced by the sheer weight of the mission she had been given.

Lani had been with her for years, so she knew, to so extent, how she went about her activities and what her thought processes moved in tis like this. So she knew she was feeling the weight of the mission right now.
"First, we know the target is a True Immortal and that he is the heir of the dark elf King. This ans he lives in a palace mansion. Lani would have to break in, since it would be heavily guarded.
Once she does, she must locate the bastard and plan her next move. Personally, this mission can succeed if she finds him in a living room. That is where he
would be vulnerable and less guarded.
Second, we know he is a Dark Elf, so we can already rule out the use of formations or concealnts, since he would sense them a mile away.
Third, there is an issue with saving the Heavens Daughter after Lani has killed the True Immortal. She must know where the target is kept. But before that, she must know what the target looks like.
And when all these variables are t, there is the case of how sneakily one can sneak up on whoever might notice the anomaly when she kills the true
immortal.
From my experience, there is always a way the fathers of such scums beco aware whenever their bastard sons die.
Perhaps knowing the kind of life their kids live, they put asures in place to notify them whenever they are in danger. So there is that..."
The ladies looked at Miryssa with enlightened expressions after hearing how much variables Lani would have to overco to kill the true Immortal.
Unity asked, "What do you know about Heaven's Daughter? I believe the core of this mission revolves around her, so what can you tell us?"
"I have no idea, ladies," she answered.
She also turned to Vexthra, who frowned and shook her head. "I also don't
know."
Her answer caused her sisters to furrow their brows. "Don't look at , I don't
know everything"
"Well-"
"The Heaven's Daughter is, as the na says, a daughter of the heavens..." Suddenly, Uncle Drew's voice entered everyone's ears, causing them to turn in
his direction.
