Now reading: Chapter 1519 Cursed from Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System, a Action novel by PenDrop.

It is terrible how so people's fates turned out.

Artemis was supposed to be the goddess of the hunt. However, she died before she could breathe even a small wisp of that glory.

Hera was supposed to grow into a beautiful woman and marry a very powerful king, but instead, her fate changed, leading her to beco the curse of soone destined to fight for the universe.

They were all ant to be great, but sohow, they ended up being their own downfall.

Because of Chaos, Artemis died following a foolish dream. Then Hera, who was destined for greatness too, grew bitter, which led her to beco Chaos's heart demon.

While during the Primordial Era she did not haunt Chaos that much, she really wreaked havoc on him during the Divine Era, making her one of the few who actually managed to defeat Jest then.

So, while their fate was to be great people, they also brought about their own downfall. Now, as Kent, Dia, and Inaya stood together, one could tell they all played a hand they were never ant to be dealt.

"This is a bit strange..." Just when the mont started to beco a bit strange, Ainna's voice entered everyone's ears, causing them to turn toward her.

When her gaze t Kent's, she smirked.

"Hi, my na is Ainna, Inaya's best friend, and the one who took care of her when you abandoned her. Also, sorry for trying to kill you back on Planet Brymrr. I never planned for you to actually nearly die.

That said, now that you are back and alive, you and I will have a good talk about my compensation."

Kent stared at her for a few more seconds with a straight expression before a sudden smile appeared on his face.

"Nice eting you, Ainna, and do not worry, I will compensate you better than before. But first, why don't you tell us what is strange?"

Ainna did not say anything for a mont, perhaps pondering Kent's initial words. 'What did he an by compensating better this ti?'

She kept her thoughts running for a few seconds before a sigh escaped her mouth. She turned her focus to Dia. "She does not have a fate or destiny. The only thing she has is a cursed soul."

She paused for a mont and then refrad her sentence. "What I ant to say is, both her destiny and fate have been stolen and replaced with a devious curse."

"WHAT?" the ladies exclaid, a shocked look appearing on their faces.

"Care to throw more light on what you just said?" Vexthra asked, and Ainna, who did not want to admit it but really felt intimidated by the goddess of hatred and resentnt, nodded like a child.

Perhaps, if it were Kent who asked, she would have shrugged him off. But she could not do the sa to Vexthra...

"While I hate to brag, I would like to point out that before I beca an alchemist, I was actually an accomplished seer. I specialized in divination and fate reading. My third eye can see both the past and a bit of the future.

While I would not want to bore you with the details, one rule of divination is to know which thread of fate to pull and which window of destiny to pierce through.

It was how I saw you coming back to my best friend, and how I knew you would not die when I pitted you against that demigod."

She paused and smiled. But then she recalled how close Kent ca to near death. "Safe to say your fate is hard to reach.

However, that does not change the fact that I can see your complex, incomplete fate lines, sa with these fine ladies'.

Hers, however, is blank in both the threads of fate and the windows of destiny. The only thing there is a large red crack filled with murderous intent. That only happens when one's fate is stolen.

In simple terms, she is rely a puppet on a string."

"Who is controlling her?"

"That—" Ainna ford a hand seal and was about to place her finger on her forehead when a tiny hand appeared from thin air and grabbed it.

"Don't." Akira appeared from thin air, holding back Ainna's hand. "Had you done that, not even the ashes of your bones would have remained."

Ainna visibly shook, sweat forming on her brow. Instinctively, she moved closer to Akira, almost hugging her tiny body.

"What is going on, Akira?" Kent asked. Among the three cosmic lolis in the tower, Akira is the cosmic weaver. She is more attuned to the soul. So if there is anything concerning fate, which is innately linked to the soul, she was bound to know.

What Kent never expected was her staying silent all this ti, only to appear when Ainna revealed that Dia is fateless and destinyless, ultimately making her a cursed soul.

Akira scratched her head and smiled. "I cannot say, big brother. If I were to reveal anything, not only would all of you die, even I might die."

"Oh, it sounds serious."

"Very serious, big brother."

Kent nodded and asked again, "How serious are we talking?"

Akira thought for a mont and replied, "More serious than the worst of the Void Beasts and Forbidden Race combined."

Kent furrowed his brow for a few monts and nodded. "I understand. Sorry for the trouble, Akira. You can go back now."

She nodded and vanished into thin air, leaving a group of stunned beauties wondering what had just happened. Kent stood there, his mind calculating many things.

He may not have known who had stolen Dia's fate and destiny, but he knew they were terrible. In fact, he could say they were the worst enemy he would ever face.

While he may not be aware of them yet, now that he knew they were sohow involved in the troubles that had plagued him, he would find them and make them pay.

"As Akira said, we cannot talk about it, so we should not talk about it. What you all should know, however, is that Dia is one of us, so no matter what, we will find a way to save her, regardless of how hard things get."

His wives nodded, Unity pulling her sister into a big hug.

Kent turned to Ainna and smiled. "I guess we can call it even. You tried to kill , and now I almost did the sa."

"They are not the sa things. I never actually wanted you dead. I rely wanted a few bones broken and several teeth knocked out."

Kent grinned. "We can never truly get what we want, can we?"

"I guess we can't. But you still owe ." After saying that, she turned around and walked to a nearby tree and sat under it. Kent could tell she was rattled by how close she had co to death.

Kent was not the only one who saw that. Inaya also did. However, for now, since she and Kent had a lot to catch up on, she decided to handle that first.

Thankfully, Kent had more than enough wives to attend to her.

Miryssa walked to her side and hugged her.

Kent nodded and added it to his bucket list to reward her later. Afterward, he turned to Inaya, and before long, they vanished into the Harem Tower.

Billions of years had passed, so there was much to say and much catching up to do.
