Now reading: Chapter 1561 Chaos Monarch's Sovereignty from Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System, a Action novel by PenDrop.

Fifteen demi-humans with stone skin surrounded three ladies and five n, their weapons drawn, their smiles exuding evil, nacing intent.

The three ladies and five n had more human-like skin, with a bit of silver coating them.

On the ground, three n lay dead, their blood oozing out like a river.

Clearly, the eight people who had been surrounded were initially eleven. Judging by the look on their faces and the fear in their eyes, they knew all too well what awaited them.

One of the stone-skinned demi-humans grinned and said:

"It is a bit sad to think you chose to be the decoy for your princess to get away. If you had been forthcoming and allowed us to capture her, perhaps we would have ended your lives quickly and swiftly." His grin beca twisted. "Now, it seems we have no choice but to make it even more painful."

He took one step forward, and the eight silver-skinned demi-humans trembled. Irrespective of their gender, they all trembled when he took that step.

Standing 300 ters away, Kent sighed, his expression turning a bit darker.

When he entered the Star Gateway, he expected to appear in a place where thousands of star beasts waited for him to slaughter them. He never expected to find himself in a place that seed like a functional society.

There was bullying here, so he had no doubt that these people are sentient and part of communities. Bullying is the only thing sentient beings specialize in, regardless of their race.

The only problem here was which side to pick. He had no idea where he was or which species of star beasts these demi-humans belonged to, so picking a side would an he must kill the other side.

The Ruthless Bandit had already told him he would need every bit of evil if he wanted to survive this journey, so he wasn't about to be the hero and jump into saving anyone.

Thankfully, he had sothing that could aid him.

Vexthra managed to acquire a star compass from the Space God.

So from the mont he woke her up, Tower started syncing with it. In a few minutes, he would know which side to pick and, most importantly, he would know where to go next.

While waiting, he used the chance to pay closer attention to the fifteen demi-humans with stone skin. Ten were Root Immortals, two Spirit Immortals, and two Core Immortals. They only had one True Immortal, and he seed to have already ford Immortal Qi.

Surprisingly, the cornered demi-humans were all Core Immortals, a much stronger team than the stone skins.

However, despite this, they seed cornered and very afraid. This made Kent wonder just why that was. From his perspective, their lineup was strong enough to fight back and perhaps even win.

So why then were they cowering in fear?

His question was answered when Tower finally finished syncing with the Star Compass.

[It appears the master has arrived at the lowest level of the Star Realm. This place is called Green Skull Forest, one of the three forests bordering Skull City.

The silver-skinned demi-humans are known as Velkhar, and the stone-skinned demi-humans are known as Terrakhan. It also appears the Velkhar are pacifists by nature, so they cannot fight back even if they wanted to.]

"Hold on. Are you trying to tell they would rather die than kill their attackers?"

[Yes, master. They are a race of healers, so killing is not in their nature.]

"And these are the sa beasts that once terrorized our universe."

[Indeed. They are Star Beasts or, as most call them, Spatial Beasts. Just like us and other races, there are different species among them, so not all of them are violent. The Velkharians happen to be the most peaceful of them all.

However, the sa cannot be said for the Terrakhan. They are a violent species that doesn't know when to stop.] "I see. I have no mory of when the Star Beasts invaded the universe, but I think learning that not all of them are violent, perhaps there is a future for them and us after all."

[The master is indeed correct. However, you have to make a decision first. Which of them would you save?]

"Before making a decision, I have a question. Do I know where to go if I want to cross to the next galaxy?" Since this mission was to traverse the harrowing depths of the Star Gateway to Elina's galaxy, his objectives and actions must align with it.

[I haven't just yet. However, I believe that once we reach a city, we can ask for so answers. Since this is their world, they would know more.]

"Then I suppose saving the Velkharians would do. They seem peaceful at least."

Tower had no objections, since she also believed that saving them would be the most logical decision.

The eight Velkharians were pushed to the corner and were on their last straw when a voice suddenly entered their ears.

"Easy there, tigers. We wouldn't want to anger this monarch now, would we?"

The fifteen Terrakhans and eight Velkharians turned in the sa direction, their gazes landing on Kent's handso face. He was clad in dark, cotton-like armor, styled to appear more regal yet perfect for combat.

His dragon horn was active, and his perfect purple hair, decorated with strands of red and gold, fell perfectly to the side of his face, giving him the appearance of royalty.

The only unsettling thing, however, was his eyes. They were golden, but his pupils seed to have a reddish craziness buried within, giving him a presence that made all twenty-three of them take a few steps back.

The True Immortal among the Terrakhans pointed his sword at Kent and asked:

"Who are you, and what do you want?"

Kent smiled and answered:

"No need for the hostilities, brother. I am just a traveler passing through. If you pretend I wasn't here, I will just walk away and pretend I saw none of whatever this is."

Maybe sarcasm wasn't sothing the Star Beasts were familiar with, so the True Immortal misunderstood what Kent said. In his mind, Kent didn't want to get into any trouble, so he pleaded to be allowed to pass.

Naturally, as beings who craved blood, they felt their blood boil at the thought of feasting on him after they were done with the eight Velkharians.

There was just sothing about Kent that made them unconsciously lick their lips.

"If you go down on your knees and bow to , perhaps I will let you die first before feasting on you."

Kent laughed. "Oh my, this is a bit strange, you know."

His gaze narrowed, and he said, "I was about to say the sa thing, minus the feasting part. However, since we seem to share the sa ideology, then how about we each try and see who kneels first?"

Suddenly, a powerful presence filled the place, causing both the Velkharians and Terrakhans to tremble. Kent smirked, and then he pointed at the fifteen Terrakhans.

Tapping into the Chaos Monarch's Sovereignty innate ability, he commanded, "Why don't you go down on your knees and bow to my majestic self?"

Under the stunned gaze of the eight Velkharians and the unwilling yet shocked expressions of the Terrakhans, they all went down on their knees and bowed to him—all fifteen of them.

"Better..."

Kent laughed and turned to the eight Velkharians.
