Inaya was frozen in place, unsure of what to say as she stared back at Jest.
If this were before she reunited with Kent, she would have jumped into Jest's arms like a kid welcoming her father after being away for an entire week.
However, things were different now, so she hesitated.
Seeing this, Jest, or at least a strand of his supre soul, smiled. "I suppose you have already reunited with my future incarnation, huh?"
Inaya furrowed her brow. "How did you know that?"
"Isn't that obvious? If you hadn't t my true self, you would have already jumped into my arms. After all, you wouldn't miss a chance to get close to ."
"You make it sound like I am obsessed with you." A chuckle escaped her lips.
"I am happy for you, Inaya. I know how we ended things wasn't the right way. However, I had to leave to ensure you didn't fall victim to my heart demon. I am not asking for forgiveness; however, you should know I am terribly sorry for leaving you."
Inaya smiled and nodded. "It is all in the past now, Jest. I am happy now, so you can rest assured knowing the future is better than any of us could have hoped."
Jest smiled and stood up. "I am glad everything worked out in the end," he said before taking a deep sigh. "So, you are here to defeat , huh?"
"Yes. That is the plan."
Jest smiled and shook his head. "If we fight, you wouldn't last a minute against . That said, I am not here to fight you. I only asked the Sword Dao to leave this imprint of my soul so I could give you this."
Jest opened his palm, and a golden orb appeared in it...
With her enhanced senses, Inaya sensed the danger hidden within the golden orb. "What is that?"
"I couldn't get close to you back then, so giving it to you wasn't worth it, not when the danger was more than the gain. So, I asked the Sword Dao to leave it here for you. It is the 8th strand of the Eternal Sword Intent I comprehended back then when I glimpsed the realm above the Sword Celestial Stage."
Jest paused and smiled at the shocked expression on Inaya's face. "Since we have reunited in the future, then I am sure you have already t Baldy and the others."
Inaya nodded.
"Yes, they were ford from the Eternal Sword Intent I had comprehended. Now, here is yours. I don't know how you intend to use it, but it is yours to use.
I turned mine into seven living beings tasked with creating and mastering a sword technique that transcends the Sword Celestial Stage.
You can do whatever you want with it. Just know that with this, your sword will beco much sharper, and, knowing the kind of talent you have, I am sure you will shock the entire universe.
So take it and make proud, Inaya. Show the entire universe that the partner of Legendary Sword Genesis isn't soone to look down on."
The orb flew from Jest's palm and rged with Inaya's forehead. "I look forward to seeing how far you can climb the Grand Ascension Sword Tower."
Just as he said that, Inaya's world went completely blank.
On the outside, a spear streaked through the air, stabbing Vexthra in the shoulder. She was sent crashing into a mountain 2 km away. She tried to rise to her feet again; however, two Supre warriors unleashed their power, directing everything to lock her in place.
Then a third Supre appeared out of nowhere and stabbed another spear into her heart.
"NOOOOOO!"
Lene's furious roar spread across the space, her Hellhorse letting out a powerful howl, almost as if it were a wolf. She dashed toward Vexthra, hoping to prevent the Supre from stabbing her a second ti.
However, she hadn't gotten far when a powerful force slamd into her body, knocking her off her Hellhorse and rendering her unconscious.
Up in the air, a Celestial appeared and unleashed a powerful attack, manifesting a gigantic sword and hurling it toward the unconscious Lene.
Sowhere else, Umai was sent crashing into a mountain, both wings broken and torn like rags. She had held her own against three Supres, but in the end, she lost.
Daliah was also forced out of her Darkness Domain, her left arm severed and one eye blinded.
As for the Six Ancient Primordial Beasts, they had killed quite a number of Supres and even Celestials. However, now, aside from Moltros, whose defence was practically impenetrable, the rest had already dropped to one knee.
Finally, Ainna had beco bloody from head to toe after rging her entire essence with the [Void Null Shield], making it so nobody could get close to her best friend.
For soone who valued peace of mind, she sure had the courage to make sure that, even if she died, her best friend would live on.
As for Baldy and Han, since they weren't back, it appeared they had encountered additional dangers. In truth, had it not been for the two of them, Vexthra and the others would have already fallen by now.
Now, Vexthra was halfway to the underworld, Lene would soon be obliterated, and Umai had lost consciousness.
Up ahead, three Celestials, each powerful enough to make even Han take them seriously, appeared.
"Hahahahahaha... I never knew a day would co when the Legendary Ten Emotions Sword Supre would be left undefended and exposed for all to see her die a pitiful death," one of them said, swinging his sword.
A sword light flew from it, but landed on a transparent shield. Inside, Ainna coughed up blood, but she gritted her teeth and ford more hand seals, pouring her Supre Qi into the shield.
"Annoying," the Celestial clicked his tongue. "Join . Let's shatter that shield."
The two Celestials joined in and attacked. This ti, when the attack landed on the shield, a crack ford in it.
"AaaaaHHHH!" Ainna scread as her soul cracked, and the backlash knocked her unconscious.
"Now is our chance."
They attacked again, and the shield shattered. However, instead of attacking Inaya, it landed on a turtle shell.
"Not when I am still alive," Moltros said, focusing his defence to the maximum as he covered Inaya from all sides, making sure the only opening was him standing in front of the shield, holding an axe.
"Die, you turtle!"
All three Celestials attacked at the sa ti, their weapons stabbing toward Moltros, who held a fearless smile on his face.
"At long last, here is where my journey ends."
He knew death was staring him in the eye, and there was no escaping it. So he made peace with himself.
Everyone held their breath as the three Celestials drew closer. Vexthra, who was still hanging on, watched through her hazy vision as Moltros stood his ground, arms open as he awaited his death.
'Should I use it?'
A dark thought appeared in her mind, one that, if she executed it, would cause her to cease to exist forever. Not even Lady Kenzie would be able to resurrect her if she used that technique.
Her dark thoughts were interrupted when a calm voice spread across the entire planet...
"You all just died."
All Vexthra saw before she passed out was a purple light, and then everything went quiet.
