Kent had not even stopped for a minute to relax during the past week and five days. He knew just how important it was to gather strength now.
He might not have recalled all his mories as the Chaos Dragon to fully understand the scale of the battle during the Great War, but after recalling the Divine Beast Tar's mories, he saw just how limited he had been during the Chaos War.
Had it not been for a trump card that allowed him to exchange his life to seal the Chaos Gate, he would have died alongside the rest of his beasts.
The sa was for his life as Lord Genesis.
Seeing that they had paved the way for him this ti around, he wasted no ti and made sure to form contracts with all the Vagabonds.
During the process, Kent ca to better understand his powers as a Beast Tar. Now, without even giving them Innate Talent Awakening Pills, they could awaken their Innate Bodies and bloodlines.
It was one of the many abilities that made him stand out back in the day.
When he created the Beast Kingdom, many beasts ca seeking asylum. They knew that with the Divine Beast Tar in charge, no harm would co to them.
Even to this day, many beasts that once followed him still live there with one of the Divine Wonders as their ruler.
Other Beast Tars hated him, but he did not concern himself with their petty insults. In the end, nobody with a functioning brain would dare attack him, not when he was surrounded by the 13 Divine Wonders.
Kent expected many good things to happen to him. However, when he ford the contracts with the Vagabond Beasts, he was stunned to learn that an Overlord could bestow unique traits upon beasts.
Aside from Mila, Kent saw that the other beasts possessed a unique trait called [Vagabond]. This trait turned them into Vagabond Beasts, and as they grew stronger, they evolved into True Vagabonds.
Mila was already a True Vagabond, so all Kent did was awaken her Innate Body, but the others had to undergo true bloodline and Innate Body awakenings.
Kent planned to ask his 13 Divine Wonders how they managed to do that since he wasn't an Overlord back then. He had never once expected them to be this overpowered after he died and left them to fend for themselves. This ca as a complete shock to him, but a pleasant one.
The mont he finished drafting the contracts, he decided to rest and recover his energy.
Surprisingly, he was just too tired, so he slipped into a deep, peaceful sleep. In his sleep, he dreamt of arriving in the Elina Galaxy and reuniting with Elina atop a glass tower. In his dream, Elina was the crown princess of a vast human Empire.
His sleep, however, was interrupted when the entire Tornted Chaos Abyss suddenly shook, and across the entire realm, an evil presence spread everywhere, shaking everyone's resolve.
Kent woke up and imdiately made his way to the hall, where he found Mila and her people were ard and ready for battle. Even Malak seed prepared to jump into battle.
As an Ancient Evil, he knew just how tyrannical the presence felt. While his evil rank might be higher, the presence he sensed was not soone he could afford to offend.
Maybe when he rose back to the Celestial stage, he could compensate for the remaining gap by utilizing his Ancient Evil rank.
But today, things aren't looking good for him or anyone.
"What are you guys doing?" Kent asked, a bit confused when he saw all the strongest beasts gathered inside the jade hall of the Vagabond Kingdom.
"You are awake, My Lord." Mila rushed to Kent's side. "My Lady sent word. The Fifth Overlord is awakening from her slumber."
"Is that why you all seem like you are going to war?" Kent smirked, though Mila's serious expression told him she was not joking.
"My Lady said we should not leave your side. Apparently, even My Lady does not think she can defeat the Fifth Monarch. That being was already here when she arrived, so she knew best to prepare for anything."
Just then, the air grew even more chaotic and chilling.
Even Kent furrowed his brow. 'This presence... it is even stronger and denser than the one I felt when Lord Genesis faced the Abyss King.'
Kent realized that perhaps the Evil Queen had already stepped into the rank of a Primordial, the sa rank he suspected existed above the Celestial stage. If that was the case, then he knew he had been slacking off all this ti.
'No wonder Big Brother Malak even seems ready for battle.'
"Stand down, everyone. I know the one causing this phenonon. She was the main reason I ca here."
"WHAT?" Kent's Beast companions exclaid in shocked tones, their expressions growing tense.
"What do you an you know her?" Malak asked, his gaze narrowing at Kent. Even Kent felt his soul tremble when he t Malak's red eyes.
"I t her a very long ti ago. She was the one who opened the Trial of Evil for , Big Brother. It appears you were not the only one banished from your universe. We beca friends, and later she beca my master... unofficially."
Malak blinked a few tis before asking, "Do you trust her?"
"Yes, Big Brother."
"I see. Then let us wait and see what happens next. If she proves to be a nace, I will take action and seal her, even if it is the last thing I do."
Far away in the Abyss, a large coffin, similar to the one Malak ca out of, slowly opened. A pale-skinned figure with graceful features and a pair of dark eyes slowly rose and hovered in the air.
Lightning tore through the sky and bathed her in its unholy radiance for several minutes. After it had finally cald, she opened her eyes and sighed.
"After who knows how long, I have finally awakened." She smiled and added, "If I am awake, then it ans he is here."
This made her beam with joy. Her mood led her to ignore the four people hovering 20 kiloters from her dark castle. She first changed her clothes, dressing to impress. She made sure less skin was covered since she planned to impress Kent with her good looks. After that, she spent a couple of minutes handling her overflowing aura.
It was only after an hour that she managed to bring her aura under control.
Afterward, she took a single step and appeared 200 ters away from the four Overlords of the Tornted Layer. When they saw her arrive, all four of them imdiately went into battle stances.
"Oh, please. If I wanted you dead, I could kill you within the blink of an eye." She smiled faintly. "You four have potential, especially you two." She pointed at a fox lady and an angelic man with flowing golden hair. "As for you two, how about becoming my subordinates? I will transform you into Evil Fiends and bestow upon you powers beyond your comprehension."
Her eyes narrowed, and before the Overlords of the Forbidden and Abomination Beast Races could reject her offer and insult her, she moved and appeared directly before them.
"I was not asking for your permission, puppets."
A third eye opened on her forehead, and at once, the two Overlords lost consciousness. The fox lady and the angel stepped back, sweat breaking out across their foreheads.
Within a single minute, the two Overlords regained consciousness and knelt before the dark-haired lady.
"We greet the Queen of Evil."
"Better." She laughed softly. "Giving you two as gifts to my Prince would make him like more."
She then turned toward the fox lady and the angel. "I have reasons to believe you two share a destiny with my Prince. It would be best if you t him on good terms."
She waved her hand, and the void shattered apart.
"The choice is yours."
She stepped into the void, and the two Overlords followed after her.
"Who could be her Prince?" the angel overlord asked, stunned by what had just happened.
The fox lady shook her head. "I do not know, but I intend to find out."
With that, she stepped through the portal, and the angel followed after her.
