"Big Brother Randy... Big Brother Randy!" In a certain lush apartnt sowhere in the Core area of the Spear Gate, an inner disciple ran toward Randy's apartnt, which may have ultimately disrupted his cultivation.
Randy's face contorted into anger, but he lightened up a bit when he saw the young man. This young man was one of the few who had chosen to beco his retainers in the sect.
"What is it, Maxwell... why the sudden frantic visit?" Randy asked, putting away his spear. He and Ingrid were so of the top core disciples in the Spear Gate and, ultimately, the sect.
"We have a big problem, Big Brother Randy," Maxwell said, making Randy fully focus his attention on him.
"Spill it..."
"You rember the kid who won the Trial of the Sword a couple of days ago? He was just spotted with Big Sister Ingrid, and from the way they were moving and handling each other, everyone started calling them a couple."
Maxwell wasn't even done when Randy's face contorted back to that of extre anger. He didn't like what he had just heard.
Well, nobody would like to hear that their crush—soone they had dedicated most of their life to—was seen with another man, and now many had placed a label on them. In fact, he hadn't earned that label yet despite spending years chasing after her.
"Do you know where this brat is?" Randy asked.
"They were heading toward Tasty Ho Pavilion... I'm sure they're going to have dinner," Maxwell said, wasting no effort to add more fuel to the fire.
As expected, Randy started moving away, definitely going to Tasty Ho Pavilion. Maxwell ran after him while calling a few minions to et them there.
anwhile, Kent and Ingrid, who had moved through the Spear Gate while he was keeping his attention on the Sword Gate Master, had finally arrived in front of a large restaurant that also acted as a hotel or an inn of so kind.
"This is the Tasty Ho Pavilion... If you're looking to get the best food rich in essence to eat, this is where you get it," Ingrid said, and Kent nodded.
"But why is it in the Spear Gate? Does it an only disciples from the Spear Gate can eat here?" Kent asked. "And why would they have hotel services if they're in a sect where disciples already have hos?" Find your next read on My Virtual Library Empire
Ingrid looked at him with a 'bruh' expression.
"This is not an establishnt of the sect. It's an outside business, and while it shouldn't be here, it's the sect's way of giving the disciples a chance to still experience the outside life here.
Spirit stones are spent here, and as for the rooms, there are many uses for them. Just because you're living in the best place in the sect doesn't an everyone is."
"Also, the reason why it's in the Spear Gate—or, more importantly, appears to be in the Spear Gate—is that the Spear Gate is the center of the sect. It was only natural to put it here."
"I see... That makes so sense," Kent nodded. He knew what she said was indeed true. He got to live with his master in a lavish house, but not everyone has that.
So, while so might not have Divine Points, using spirit stones here is the way.
The rich and privileged will get to show off their wealth here. Kent knew it was the best thing that the sect could co up with.
Of course, this also ans the divine points that are critical can now be spent on sothing much more beneficial.
"Of course, if a plate of rice costs a spirit stone on the outside, here, it costs a hundred... So still, not many would want to co here," Ingrid added, and Kent just smiled.
"Let's grab a bite... I'm kinda hungry and need so energy," Kent suggested. Ingrid didn't imdiately reply, causing Kent to ask why.
"You do know we're being followed, and I'm sure so core disciples are part of those following us. The mont we step inside this restaurant, the sect rules will lose their effect inside... This ans we can be attacked, or in your case, you can be attacked," Ingrid explained. Kent just shrugged.
"Who cares about those idiots... I just want to eat, so they can co... I doubt they'll be able to do much," Kent said before taking Ingrid's hand and leading her inside.
A couple of ters away, the disciples who saw this seethed in anger and also started creeping closer to the restaurant.
Of course, not all of them would be able to enter, considering that the entrance fee could buy them loads of cultivation resources on the outside. In fact, 80% of the disciples following wouldn't be able to do anything to him since they couldn't enter.
Kent didn't know this, but he was thrilled to see there was a place where he could spend his money while inside the sect.
They moved through the yard of the restaurant and soon arrived at the entrance.
"You must pay an entrance fee of 80,000, or if you have 100,000 spirit stones, you can buy a mbership," Ingrid said to him before taking out a silver badge.
"What grade is that?" Kent asked, though he already knew the answer.
In fact, he had used his enchanted eyes on the restaurant, which was how he discovered there are mbership levels in Tasty Ho Pavilion.
They have Silver, Gold, Diamond, and Platinum mberships. Of course, the prices are also exaggerated, but having a mbership is beneficial.
You can use it in any Tasty Ho Pavilion on the human continent. It's like the badge Alina gave to Kent. It will allow him to enter any Silver Leaf Auction house On the human continent.
"Mine is the lowest grade, and I only got that thanks to being the disciple of a Saintess," Ingrid said before showing it to the staff at the entrance.
"I'll see you inside," Ingrid smiled and stepped in. She could have brought him inside, but she wanted to see if what Saintess Selene said was true.
She wanted to know if Kent was indeed rich. Though she wasn't a gold digger, she was also very curious about his background.
"Please, I'd like to buy a mbership," Kent said to the staff. The staff scanned Kent's appearance, but the bastard was too handso for them to assu his status, so they nodded and led him away.
Ingrid, who saw this, simply waited for him to return.
Kent was led to a room where he was greeted by a certain lady with a rather impressive chest. In fact, had she been wearing a buttoned shirt, those poor buttons would have been suffering by now.
Kent sat down, and they began their discussion.
anwhile, a couple of kiloters outside the restaurant, angry disciples are already gathered and ready to see if the bastards who took their beauty can be hacked into pieces.
One had to say that these disciples certainly have a lot of ti on their hands. I an, why would anyone even bother to co, knowing not even Ingrid's shadow would take them as her boyfriend?
They are just wasting their ti for nothing, and it is vivid now, showing how incompetent people can be.
If Ingrid can only marry one man, then why would they waste their ti, knowing all too well she wouldn't give them a second glance?
But then again, this is just how people are... So are there to suck up to the core disciples who have a shot at making Ingrid their woman.
Well... that was their assumption.
