This ans as they grow stronger, strengthen their foundations, and level up, you will keep gaining stat points.
And that is on top of the 10% spiritual qi you receive from them whenever they cultivate. In a way, you wouldn't have to worry about cultivating anymore.
Use your alchemy and wealth to help them grow, and you will grow alongside them.]
