The sword Dao is a mystery.

Nobody knows how far it extends.

Those who reached the peak of the sword path awakened the Sword Will to its apex, yet they never spoke of its origins or the vastness of its power.

However, it is believed that all Dao stems from the sa source, and that source can be accessed through the realm of enlightennt.

It is the only place that one can genuinely say they have t the Dao even if it was just in the will rely in the air.

Everyone experiences enlightennt differently, and each person has eleven chances—or more—to trigger enlightennt at various stages of their path.

Kent triggered his first enlightennt, the [Enlightennt of the Gaze], which ca as a surprise.

He never expected it, nor did he anticipate awakening such a power. Now, he has entered the realm of enlightennt, standing beneath thousands of tombstones.

"Enlightennt, huh?" Kent muttered, gazing at them. The mont he appeared, he instinctively knew where he was, what he must do, and how long he would remain there.

"Two years to master as many skills as I can... That's convenient," Kent smiled.

"Until now, learning how to unleash sword attacks using my eyes wasn't sothing I saw coming. But I guess I must do it. Two years will pass in the blink of an eye, and as Elsa said, ti runs faster here."

He sat down and closed his eyes, sending his consciousness to closely examine the tombstones, each holding a unique skill that cannot be replicated.

The mont he learns a skill, it will vanish, never to return.

"Void Severance," Kent muttered, examining a tombstone that seed to hold that skill. Naturally, it was a skill that harnessed the power of the Void.

"Starfall Severance," he moved to the next one, and that, too, was a skill.

He quickly examined all of them, and from the twenty he reviewed, he found that they were all powerful skills that could not be comprehended casually.

"I have two years to learn at least one of these thousand skills," he smiled. "This is pure wickedness. How in the world do they expect to pick one out of the thousands available?"

There were simply too many skills there, and going through all of them could take months. There was no way he could know all of them without closely examining each one.

"Then again, this is an enlightennt of the Sword Dao. I'm sure there won't be any weak skills here. But that doesn't an I won't take my ti to look into them."

Thus, Kent began examining more tombstones.

He continued without stopping until a month later when he had surprisingly examined about 1,200 tombstones. That was when he decided to pick his first skill and start comprehending it.

"I'll go for 'Soul Rending Glare' first. Having the ability to cut soone's soul is a skill that will co in handy."

With that, he settled his focus on the tombstone for 'Soul Rending Glare' and injected his energy, imdiately entering the skill's world within the tombstone.

The tombstones are just a ans to display the na of the skill and create a pathway for the one trying to learn it to enter the Skill world.

It is so kind of realm that can only be exited when one masters the skill they wanted to learn.

If you couldn't, then after 2 years, you will be pulled out and out of the realm of enlightennt.

The mont he entered, he appeared in what looked like a shattered sky, with fragnts hanging everywhere.

It was a bizarre setting.

Then, from one of the cracks, a red eye as nacing as they co opened, causing Kent's body to freeze. Suddenly, a powerful energy surged out of it, shattering the very fabric of reality.

"I am inside a soul world where soul attacks can be manifested physically," Kent realized imdiately, causing him to look at the eye again as it snapped open and unleashed a second attack.

"I need to see that again." The eye snapped open and unleashed the attack for the second ti, causing Kent to raise an eyebrow.

"So that's what this is. I guess I should watch so more." He sat down and started staring at the eye as it snapped open, unleashed the attack, and then closed imdiately.

Every ti the eye unleashed an attack, it was as if a part of his understanding clicked, making him realize that the more he watched, the faster his comprehension grew.

A day passed, and the eye executed countless attacks, yet Kent remained seated, gazing at it with intense focus.

A week passed, and before he realized it, two months had gone by. During these two months, Kent did only one thing: he never stopped staring at the eye.

However, a day after two months, a profound energy burst out of his body, and a potent red energy erupted from his eyes, creating ripples that caused the very air to twist and vibrate.

"Success," Kent smiled as he gazed at the now-closed eye.

"I managed to learn it. Now, I must master it and see where it takes ." He smiled, then tapped into the skill and unleashed it again, creating the sa ripples.

"This is just great. Three months into my 24-month tiline, and one skill is already down. On to the next, I guess." He closed his eyes, and when he opened them again, he was back to staring at the tombstones.

He quickly went for the skill he had picked as his second.

"Fractured Void," he muttered, smiling.

This skill had sothing to do with the void. Essentially, with just a stare, Kent could crack open the void like Ingrid and unleash a sword arc that used the void as a channel.

However, there was sothing unique about it that caught Kent's attention. The attack that passed through the void could be unleashed in advance—up to 24 hours before the battle.

This ant that if he unleashed the attack hours before the battle, during the fight, he could simply crack the void and let the attack loose.

And it wasn't limited to just one attack. He could unleash multiple attacks in advance and later bring them out of his own accord.

Now, this was a skill that could not be ignored.

He has so powerful skills he can use. Most are the ones he was using, and more co from his mory of his past life as Jest.

"It's always fun when everything cos together," a smile appeared on his face as he sent his consciousness into the tombstone and appeared inside a lush mountain range littered with tall, colossal trees.
