That was when he approached her using that letter. Elaine beca his, and when she finally accepted her role as the disciple of a Pill Saint, the real devil she had chosen bared his fangs at her.

She beca helpless, and for years, she felt trapped.

But now, a stranger she planned to use as her shield has done more than she wanted. She just couldn't understand what had happened or how it happened.

But she is now free.

However, Kent had just made himself into public enemy number one. His enemies started to increase, so he knew drastic asures must be taken.

He entered the carriage, where Nara and Lady Lani were already waiting for him. Soon, they are back to their hotel, which was being monitored like he left it.

The mont he entered the room, he called out.

"Sylara, co out."

The evil, undead lady appeared, frightening Lady Lani, who drew her dagger.

"Relax, Lady Lani, she is a friend," Kent said, using his left hand to block her from advancing toward her doom.

The red-eyed, undead lady looked at the assassin beauty but said nothing. But Kent could tell she was looking forward to torturing her.

"Master, you called ," Sylara said.

"Yes. Please keep an eye on that Pill Saint. The mont he took action to do anything stupid, kill him, and knowing you, do it slowly and painfully."

Kent said coldly, making the two ladies inside the room feel the temperature drop considerably.

"I will do as you say, Master." Sylara giggled, or made a sound that sounded like a giggle, and then vanished from the room.

"Nyxira, co out." Again, the Umbra Elf, who is also Elsa's strongest soul sentinel, appeared. This again made the beautiful assassin turn and look at Nara, who just remained calm and watching.

"I know you can sense them, so go ahead and mark them all. When the ti cos, they will be yours to kill. For now, we need them doing what they are doing."

Nyxira nodded and vanished. After she left, Kent turned and looked at the two ladies.

"We need to talk." Those words sounded very serious, so the ladies nodded, walked toward a dinner table, and sat down around it.

"They want dead," he smiled. "But the thing is, I also want them dead, or perhaps alive." He smiled, but his expression turned evil.

"You see, in the next five years, this world might co to an end, and I am the only one that can save everyone. This ans I want manpower. And while I will appreciate having them alive, I know that will be difficult to achieve, so I can only go for the next best option and use their dead bodies for my own project."

"Don't tell ..." Lady Lani's voice dropped as her jaw hung wide open.
