The ti is nearing evening, with the sun falling below the horizon.
Vastport City is perched atop a small mountainous area, so the sunset is rather good for a cold sunset murder.

One could swear his tone is that of soone taking sothing that once belonged to them.
Judging by his deanor, Kent could tell he was a refiner, but because he wore a mask, his identity remained hidden from all those watching.
"What if I refuse to give you my dolls?" Kent asked with a smirk.
In response, the masked figure ford a hand seal, and four energy beams shot upward from the flagpoles, converging into a massive fla dragon.
The mont the dragon appeared, Kent felt its strength.
'A tier 8 soul attack that can also deal physical damage. Not a bad move for a soul refiner. Too bad he picked as his target.'
Kent looked at the masked figure and scoffed.
"I never knew an elder from the Soul Refining Sect would co after ." Kent smirked, "Elder Chen Kai, is your sect master aware you are here trying to steal from ?"
The masked figure didn't react outwardly, but Kent could sense his unease. He had just unveiled his identity in a rather disappointing way.
"Die!" he bellowed, unleashing the dragon. It circled above before descending on Kent.
The flaming dragon opened its mouth wide, about to swallow Kent, who stood motionless, when suddenly, a crimson sword arc flashed from the clouds and sliced through the dragon, cutting it in half.
"What?" Elder Chen Kai muttered as the dragon was severed by an invisible swordsman.
Of course, the person appeared the next second, holding her dark sword, bathed in red streaks of abyssal energy.
"No need to look shocked; that attack didn't have much substance." Nara smirked as she appeared beside Kent.
"I don't know if your sect is using you to co after , but I'll kill you and visit them one of these days for an explanation."
Kent smiles in a certain direction before turning back to Elder Chen Kai
"Now obey and die."
It was a simple statent, but up in the air, Chen Kai fell and slamd into the ground, dying instantly. Kent waved his hand, and the flags vanished into his tower storage.
The body on the ground also disappeared. It was a soul attack made through verbal command, and because Chen Kai was only a Tier 8 soul cultivator, he couldn't withstand it.
Though hidden, those who witnessed what had just happened broke into a cold sweat. Those watching from afar were the sa.
They clearly saw how Kent ordered soone to die, and he did. It was sothing nobody expected, yet it happened, and looking at the expression on his face, they could tell he had only just begun.

She appeared out of nowhere and blinked away, appearing in seven places simultaneously.
In under a second, she severed the head of another seven people before the clones she had created rged back together.
At this point, many people started running, as most were only there to take advantage of the chaos and see if they could score a loot or two.
However, so could only fly a few kiloters before Lilian spoke.
"That's the thing. While I'm still alive, nobody can leave my confinent."
All those fleeing felt their bodies restricted as Lilian's spell took effect and enveloped them. Before they could move, lightning arrows descended upon them, showing that Unity had also joined the fray.
At this point, only five people remained hidden, considering that Unity, Lilian, Ingrid, Neomi, and Nara had already revealed themselves.
Kent, of course, knew they were already around because they had arrived yesterday and had put asures in place. They even created their own unique entrances just to make it look impressive.

Lady Lani spoke those words, neither too long nor too short—just enough for Rand to realize who she was before dying.
One could say she ensured he died knowing who killed him.
A few ters away, a dark bird perched on a tree shook its head, looking in Lady Lani's direction.
anwhile, her master, miles away, smiled.
"This is a perfect opportunity for you to handle all your enemies, Lani. I wonder how many you'll be willing to kill this ti, considering Kent called all of them to gather in one place."
There is an assassin on this continent known to many as the Joker. She earned this na because, whenever she killed, she left a smiling face carved out of paper on the body.
Those who saw her and lived said she wore a smiling face mask.
However, her true identity was known only to two people: Protector Vari and Nara.
Just now, she had killed one of the targets in her book and placed her signature, smiling face paper, on the body.
She then turned and looked in a certain direction.
"Looks like it's going to be a good one," she giggled through her smiling mask, lted into the shadows, and vanished.
