When Kent said those last words, two powerful presences descended upon the space, causing all those watching from the sidelines to move several steps back.
Two Kingdom Protectors, each a powerhouse, had descended into battle following Kent's clear disrespect and decisive action.
Two n who looked like they were in their late fifties appeared in the sky, staring daggers at Kent.
One had brown hair, and the other had dark hair.
The dark-haired man is the protector of the Eldorath Kingdom.
He is called Navarro, a Spearman who had entered the Spear King stage and was only a few steps away from attaining the infamous title of Spear Emperor.
The other is Han, the protector from Varyndor kings.
According to popular knowledge, he is a powerful combat mage who was the first human to reach the Core Formation stage. Of course, he isn't the strongest but was first to beco a Core formation expert.
These two powerful individuals were now staring at Kent with furious eyes.
"You would do well to surrender rather than make things difficult for yourself," Protector Navarro said, causing Kent to burst into uncontrollable laughter.
"What if I said no? Then what are you going to do?" Kent asked.
The two protectors turned their gaze toward each other, and for a mont, the will to kill could be sensed from them.
"Let make this plain as day to you two," Kent said. "I know you're here because the true evil behind this is just too scared to show up.
But that's also good. I wouldn't want to commit a massacre yet. That wouldn't be good for what's on the way.
However, while I don't plan on committing a massacre, I have to kill so things. Thankfully, you idiots are here. As Kingdom Protectors, why choose to beco soone's errand boy?
Is that how low you see yourselves, or do you just not have the will to handle matters yourself? Either way, I am disappointed in you two.
So here's what's going to happen.
All Sovereigns currently coming against will die, and when I said they would, I ant every last word in that statent.
But as much as I'd love to brag, I've only made plans to kill one of you Protectors. So you can choose which among you is ripe for killing.
Either way, one of you will die, and the other will lose a leg or an arm. It depends."
His smile showed he wasn't scared one bit.
This made the two Core Formation experts—who shouldn't feel fear—suddenly feel it. They didn't know why, but the fear gripped them deep within.
However, after glancing at the people behind Kent and then back at him, they shook off the fear. Sylara, Vaelros, and Kaizo might look intimidating, but they weren't at a level that warranted true fear.
"Kill them," Protector Han ordered, prompting the armored Peak Sovereigns to lunge at Kent and his team. In response, Kaizo, Sylara, and Vaelros sprang into action.
"Chains of Tornt!" Vaelros unleashed his domain, trapping four Sovereigns within it.
"Abyssal Realm of Torture." Sylara followed, casting her domain skill and ensnaring the other three.
anwhile, Kaizo dashed past the two and struck an empty space.
It looked weird at first; however, when he landed the blow, it revealed a hidden figure—soone cloaked and wielding a dagger was punched out, landing heavily on the ground.
"Don't try to play hide and seek with , punk," Kaizo said, eyes narrowing at the woman retreating.
A smile crept across his face as lightning armor crackled over his body, and a gauntlet ford around his fist.
His speed exploded as he closed in and landed another blow, sending the assassin lady back.
Inside the tower.
"This bitch... so she's on their side," Lady Lani cursed, gripping the dagger that appeared in her hand the mont she saw the familiar face.
"Who is she, big sister?" Alina asked.
"She's the leader of the expedition I was planning a month after the sect competition," Lady Lani answered.
"Looks like you'll need to choose a new leader now, big sister," Alina said with a smirk, watching the fury on Lani's face. It was clear she hadn't seen this betrayal coming.
"If Kent doesn't kill her, I'll do it myself."
Back on the battlefield, Kent continued staring at the Protectors, who seed to be waiting for sothing.
They seed relaxed at first, but after five minutes passed, and nothing happened. Their expressions grew tense as they started to glance around.
"Let guess—you're wondering what happened to the three assassins you had hidden," Kent said with a smirk, causing the two Protectors to narrow their eyes.
"Veydris, drop them."
At Kent's command, two headless bodies dropped from the clouds, followed by a third body—stabbed through the chest—still hanging on Veydris's colossal sword.
"Oops. Looks like we've got a hanging issue on our hands," Kent laughed.
"Die!" Protector Han couldn't take it anymore and lunged at Kent with his staff. His speed was explosive, closing the gap between him and Kent instantly.
However, just as a spell began to form at the tip of the staff—which had transford into a lance—a voice echoed through the space, followed by a gentle tap at the tip of the weapon.
"Death is a rather harsh word to say to my master, don't you think?"
A figure with skin so pale it seed devoid of color appeared right before the still-smiling Kent and calmly tapped the spear's tip, now only a ter from Kent's face.
With a simple flick of his finger, the figure sent Han flying back.
"Good to see you've finally decided to grace us with your presence, Zareth," Kent said, calling out his fourth undead, who had been hiding throughout the battle, waiting for what he considered a worthy opponent.
"Although he is not worthy to face , I can't just watch you die," Zareth replied with a small smile.
Looking at him, Kent could tell he is a little different from Kaizo and co.
He looks more undead and, strangely, more like soone who had lived through many things, unlike Kaizo and the others who ca with blank slates.
"Tsk... Just make sure he dies before I'm done severing that one's arm. You wouldn't want punishing you," Kent said, glancing at Protector Navarro, who now looked alard at the new figure standing beside Kent.
If Kaizo and the rest don't scare him, this black-and-white figure sure looks scary.
"Try not to die, Master." Zareth, who was at the Peak of the Sovereign storage stage, said with a smile.
He was Kent's first True Undead, considering he had awakened a true na, looked at the protector Navarro with pity before he vanished, and reappeared just a ter away from Protector Han.
"Why don't we take this sowhere else?" A whip-like chain materialized in Zareth's hand, and with a swift swing...
"Draconic-Serpent Domain."
The space cracked and warped, enveloping the two of them in an isolated domain where their battle would occur.
anwhile, Kent turned to Protector Navarro and smiled.
"Shall we?"
The void behind Protector Navarro shattered, and hundreds of sword arcs burst out, raining down on him. Kent lunged forward at the sa ti.
