"Welco to the Alchemist's Dream. How can we be of service?" Soone approached them when Kent and Vexthra stepped into the large store filled with herbs and people.

The mont Kent set his sight on this figure, a smile appeared on his face. The last ti he was there, this sa lady had tried to get him on her side.

She was from a rchant family that specialised in alchemy, and as such, she wanted Kent, whom she saw as fresh new blood, to join her family.

However, she ran when Kent and Annabelle's situation started.

But who could bla her? She may have been from a rchant family, but she most definitely wouldn't go against soone like Annabelle, who was the disciple of a Pill Saint—

The wicked Poison Witch at that.

That would have been like asking for trouble, so Kent didn't bla her for abandoning him when she did. However, looking at her now, smiling at the new Kent like she had in the past, he couldn't help but chuckle inwardly.

"I am here to purchase herbs from Tier 3 to Tier 7," Kent said, causing the lady to look up at him. The ntion of Tiers 6 and 7 took her by surprise.

Of course, this made her turn and look at the veiled Vexthra. She knew that for such a youngster to boldly say he wanted to purchase Tier 6 and 7 herbs had sothing to do with the lady beside him.

Vextra is millions of years old but still cute, young, and beautiful. But while she appears young, the air around her shows that she is much more mature than Kent.

One could tell with just a glance.

So sensing the air of maturity around Vexthra, the lady turned and looked at her.

Of course, Kent expected. She did not hate the lady for abandoning him the last ti. But that doesn't an they are about to pick up from where they left things the last ti.

So when he saw her staring at Vexthra, he knew what had to be done. This was his chance to avoid the lady asking him a whole lot about his background and what he looks forward to in his alchemy path.

"This is my master. You can call her Pill Saint Vex," Kent said, causing Vexthra to cough a few tis.

'Since when did I beco your master? Do I even know alchemy?' Vexthra used the harem connection to speak to Kent.

'Just go with the flow, my love. You want to be mortal again, so these are just so things we mortals do,' Kent responded, making Vexthra take a deep sigh.

'Fine, but if you don't reward after, I'll be mad.' Kent could only smile inwardly and then turned to the lady.

"I would appreciate it if you don't disclose this to anyone. Not all alchemists want to be public figures, so keep my master a secret," he said, walking closer to her.

"Can you do that?" he asked, and the lady nodded like a baby. Staring at his crazy, sharp eyes scared her a bit.

Being in the presence of a Pill Saint wasn't sothing she expected, so she was caught off guard. But hearing Kent's warning, she wouldn't go about disclosing this to anyone.

"In that case, where can we get all these herbs?" Kent retrieved a long list and handed it over to the lady.

"That is pretty long. Are you sure you can afford everything on it?" she asked, but Kent just smiled and turned to his master.

"I hope you ca prepared, Master," Kent said to Vexthra, who smirked under her veil and turned toward a section of the store where a golden herb box rested on a shelf, surrounded by many formations.

There is sothing about the box that caught her attention.

"Can we start there? And don't worry—we ca prepared for everything on that list." The lady, seeing where Vexthra pointed, quickly moved in that direction.

She may have been an agent from a rchant family, but also worked at the Alchemist's Dream. And as such, she earned commissions from every client she helped.

So, seeing Vexthra point to the golden herb box, she beca excited.

"What is inside?" Vexthra asked.

Of course, she already knew. She might not be able to use her god powers here, but she was still a god. Seeing through a formation-protected herb box was nothing difficult for her.

The lady walked closer. Under the jealous gazes of her fellow workers, she smiled and began to speak about the herb hidden in the box.

"It's the Starfire Herb, said to grow only in pure lava. It was retrieved by a group of herb hunters a couple of weeks ago during an expedition to the Ancient Battlefield of Parting.

It's a Tier 7 herb. It was ant to be auctioned, but since the Silver Leaf Auction House hasn't opened for a while, we placed it here for those rich enough and interested enough to have it.

It is the main ingredient in making Fire Resistance pills. Many had co to see if they could purchase it, but the paynt thod wasn't sothing they could produce, so they couldn't have it."

"I see. In that case, I would like to purchase it. How much?" Vexthra asked, showing signs that she truly wanted the herb. This made Kent wonder what she wanted it for.

"I'm sorry, distinguished custors, but this herb can't be purchased using spirit stones. The owners requested that it be exchanged for sothing of equal value that is not a herb."

"Oh really," Vexthra took a deep breath, thinking about how to handle the situation. After a few seconds, she retrieved an item from her space ring and handed it to the lady.

"This is a pseudo-mystical-grade technique. I believe it's equal to—if not more valuable than—this herb." The lady received the book with shaky hands.

The jaws of the onlookers dropped when they heard what Vexthra had just said.

"A pseudo-mystical-grade technique? Isn't that almost a mystical-grade skill?" one of them asked.

"I know, right? The last ti I heard of sothing like this was during the annual auction eight years ago, when the four kingdoms fought tooth and nail for a skill of this level.

To think soone could just walk into a herb store and pull out such an item... just who is this person?"

Vexthra, overhearing the whispers, sighed and spoke to Kent through their connection.

'I made a blunder, didn't I?' She could already feel the hungry eyes starting to lock on them.

'It happens every day. Just this ti, you may have enticed them with your riches. But don't worry—if anyone tries anything funny, I'll handle them.' Kent smiled and chose to let Vexthra finish her business.

"Please follow ," the lady said, lifting the golden herb box and walking toward a certain door. A few seconds later, Kent and Vexthra vanished from view.

That was when the murmurs turned into quiet chaos.

People started pulling out their communication devices.

ssages were sent.

Faces turned serious.

And outside the Alchemist's Dream, unseen eyes had already taken interest.
