From the start of the True Na awakening, Kent only added his wife's blood and his to the true na token, and when the ti was ripe, he would invoke the true na.
However, today, just when he added his na to the true na, his consciousness was pulled into a realm beyond the one he was standing on.
It felt bizarre in a way, but his consciousness was out of his body. On the outside, Zaila, like the ones who had co before her, had risen into the air, and surrounding her was a large bubble of water.
anwhile, Kent was pulled into a realm and appeared at the bank of a large sea. The sea was vast, endless.
The waves were also blowing...
"Where am I?" Kent asked, looking around. He didn't know where he was, but knew why he was pulled there.
"This is connected to Zaila's True Na awakening, aning this isn't simple at all." He didn't panic. Doing that would be the least expected from soone who had road the Sword Valley in that past.
Though Kent was no mind cultivator, his ntal strength was robust enough to handle this. However, that didn't an he wasn't taken aback by the sudden change in the environnt.
Since he couldn't panic, he might as well do what he does best and look for an answer using his enchanted eyes. He activated them, and like he expected, sothing appeared, but it wasn't much.
⟦Na: Secret Realm of The Serpent Queen⟧
⟦Description: This is the secret realm of the Serpent Queen, the mother of mind cultivation⟧
"The Serpent Queen," Kent widened his eyes, reading that na. Suddenly, sothing clicked, causing him to widen his eyes again.
"They couldn't be right all along, right?" he wondered.
Zaila and her Primordial spirit had already speculated about the true nature of their existence, especially the Primordial spirit.
The suspicion was there, though she wasn't about to claim Zaila's primordial spirit was the Serpent Queen.
However, this made Kent wonder if there was so truth to what they said.
Though his suspicion wasn't far from the truth.
Just when he was wondering, the reason he was brought to this secret realm started to unfold.
From a distance, a small boat could be seen floating toward him. When it drew close, a voice entered his mind, making Kent wonder what was happening.
"You seek to know , to figure out who I truly am. You must prove yourself worthy by crossing the tide to get those answers. Know that your powers are useless here; only your mind can save you."
Kent wanted to scream, "Bitch, I made no such attempt to know about you, so let go."
However, he knew what she said was indeed the truth. His subconscious wanted to know more about the true nas, and this sounded like the best chance to do so.
So when the boat landed on the shore, he hesitated only for a mont and entered. Then the boat started moving again, this ti deep at sea.
"I must prove myself by crossing the tide... just what is that supposed to an?" Kent wondered as he moved with the boat going deeper.
"If my powers aren't working here, then I guess this has sothing to do with a ntal battle. I'd better prepare." Kent ntally prepared himself.
He continued to move deeper. A day passed without him even knowing it, yet he hadn't reached his destination, or the tide hadn't co.
He just sat there, wondering what this tide was and how it would co. After a while, his thoughts drifted to his ladies, and he wondered how much ti had passed on the outside.
After thinking about that for a while, his mind went back to the Serpent Queen. Before long, a week passed. This ti around, Kent chose to wait out the tide by catching a free sleep.
He sat and leaned against the side of the boat, only to drift into sleep the next second.
When he woke up, the sun was at its zenith, and the weather looked cool and calm despite the scorching rays coming from the tiny holes in the roofing.
It was a bizarre weather, one that carried nothing but pain.
Kent moved his arm to wipe the sleep from his face, but that was when his hand couldn't reach his face. The sound of chains rattling assaulted his senses, making him close his eyes.
When he opened them and looked, he saw thick enchanted chains bound to both arms.
"What?" Kent exclaid, not knowing what the hell was going on. His arms were bound, and looking at his legs, the sa chains were wrapped around them.
"What the hell is going on?" Kent wondered, looking around. He saw he was in a small room, possibly a prison, decorated with runic symbols.
Without knowing how, he managed to decipher the aning of those runes.
"These are all restriction runes. They are ant to suppress my power, even completely remove it." He took a deep breath and started pulling to see what was going on.
After a few futile attempts, he tried to connect to the tower but found out he couldn't either. That was when a smile, instead of panic, appeared on his face.
Then his gaze turned cold, and using all his strength, he pulled hard on the chains—so hard that when they snapped apart, the entire prison walls shuddered.
The smile on his face slowly changed into anger. Tapping into that anger, he broke free and, using the sa anger, kicked the tal door, sending it flying.
Kent didn't know what was happening, but he had a bad feeling—one he had only felt once, and that was the day he died on Earth.
He knew his feelings didn't just co; they had aning. So feeling this way, he rushed out. However, he ca to a sudden halt when he walked out the door.
The space around him changed, and this ti, he was standing in front of a large golden gate. It was so big and tall that he had to raise his head to look at it.
However, while its grandeur was sothing worth admiring, Kent's eyes weren't on that; his eyes were on the sixteen bodies hanging at the majestic gate...
