Kent sighed inwardly. He knew the woman in front of him was going to be a tough nut to crack, but he wasn't deterred. If anything, he understood that she'd only turn him down if his "Rizz" wasn't up to the task. After all, she needed him to complete a mission for her; she wouldn't just kill him outright.
Right?
"I did it... well, partially. I just need to get a few things settled first before it fully opens," Kent said, carefully avoiding her piercing gaze.
"Good. Then we can proceed to the next task, where I give you what I have for you, now that you possess the Tower," Vexthra said.
Kent nodded, but his mind wandered back to the quest. He decided it was ti to make his first move. He has just two days and at the speed Vexthra was trying to go, she might send him on his way before he knew it.
He has to make his move fast.
After all, he'd never truly experienced a mont like this before, but he had written countless scripts for the movies he'd produced. He decided to write another award-winning script, this ti, he will be starring in it.
He cald down and asked...
"Before that, you ntioned you have a reason for wanting to send to Sonox. I'd like to hear it... your reason, that is," Kent asked, subtly testing the waters.
"Yes, I did say that. Well, it was where I was born and grew up until I was strong enough to ascend to a higher world. I was once a Fla Demon in that world, but now, I am simply the Goddess of Hatred and Resentnt," Vexthra said in a calm tone.
Kent noticed the shift and decided to proceed with his next move. Calm and flat are different emotions
"Goddess of Hate, huh? Why that?" he asked.
"It's the path I chose when ascending to godhood, nothing more," Vexthra replied, her tone steady and unaffected. Kent took it as a small sign of progress but knew better than to press further hard.
"Then... can you tell what it feels like to be the Goddess of Hatred and Resentnt?" he asked, taking a bolder step.
This question wasn't just casual; he genuinely wanted to understand what hatred and resentnt did to soone as beautiful as vexthra.
Vexthra's gaze softened, just a fraction, as Kent's words hung in the air. He could tell she wasn't used to this type of conversation—this genuine curiosity. For a mont, her eyes flickered, revealing a hint of sothing beyond her stoic mask called Hatred.
She may hold that title, but Kent knew beneath that title, there had to be a demon that wasn't all about hate.
"To be the goddess of hatred and resentnt...," she began slowly, her voice calm but tinged with sothing unspoken. She wanted to hold back, but sothing kept compelling her to continue
"To be the goddess of hatred and resentnt is to bear the weight of endless grudges and dark mories. It is… binding.
"You beco what many depend on when they hate sothing or soone. There is no love or peace in my nature, only Hate and Resentnt. Nothing less, nothing more"
Kent tilted his head, a slight frown appearing in his eyes as he gazed at the lady who despite letting out such emotional words still looked as hateful as ever "That sounds lonely," he murmured, just loud enough for her to hear.
Vexthra blinked, her eyes narrowing slightly as if trying to decipher his intent. "Lonely?" she repeated, as though testing the word on her tongue. It sounded foreign.
It sound stolen, like she wasn't supposed to say that.
"Yeah," Kent said, his voice gentle. "I an, everyone knows you as the powerful goddess of resentnt. But… who knows you for the person you are? The one you were before all of this?"
For the first ti, Vexthra seed caught off guard. A slight crease appeared in her brow, her mask of indifference wavering. "That person no longer exists," she replied, though her voice wasn't as firm as before.
She was losing it and Kent could feel it. He hadn't felt much in his past, but now with a new body, he could feel it, the Goddess of Hate and Resentnt was breaking.
Kent took a small step closer, keeping his movents slow and respectful.
"Maybe not in the sa way," he agreed, "but I think parts of her are still there." His gaze softened. "You're not just hate and resentnt. There's more. In my eyes, you are a person"
"A person that should other emotions..."
She glanced away, but she didn't step away from him. He could see her inner struggle, the faint flickers of old mories maybe, or perhaps just the weight of a goddess who had forgotten what it was like to be seen.
Kent wanted to make her feel seen.
Kent chose his next words carefully, keeping his voice low. "So… what do you want, Vexthra? Outside of power and control. What do you want?"
Her eyes snapped back to him, and for a mont, he saw sothing raw and unguarded. "I haven't thought about that in a very long ti," she admitted, almost in a whisper.
He offered a small smile. "Maybe it's ti to start."
They stood in silence, the tension between them shifting, becoming sothing softer, less guarded. Slowly, Kent reached out, his hand hovering just above hers.
"You would never know if you don't try, so co on, hold my hand and if you don't feel anything after a few more seconds, you can let go.
Vexthra hesitated, but eventually, she let her hand touch Kent's. The warmth of his skin was foreign to her.
Kent leaned in, just a little closer, his gaze never leaving hers. "Even goddesses deserve to be seen for who they are" he murmured, his voice barely more than a whisper.
"So, if you want, I can help you recall so of those mories. Of course, you can choose to ignore this offer and continue as you were," Kent said, though they both knew he wasn't entirely sincere.
Yet, even after waiting for several monts, Vexthra never let go of his hand. This told Kent she wasn't opposed to the idea; it was just that she didn't seem to have the capacity to feel anything beyond hate.
"Do you want to feel other things... other emotions besides hate?" Kent asked. Vexthra didn't respond verbally, but her gaze held a certain longing. She wanted it; she craved it but lacked the will to pursue it.
It was as if a fundantal part of her nature preventing her from moving forward. Kent, anwhile, was also facing his own struggle.
He'd been alive for 34 years but had never once experienced life of Pleasure. Like Vexthra, he lacked the willpower to arouse himself. But now, he could sense a shift—his blood was beginning to boil.
The cravings he envisioned feeling when he saw the lustful bodies of actresses through his lens, the taste he wanted to experience when he gazed into their pink p*ssy, and the excitent he longed to feel as he began drilling their holds—all of it, he began to feel.
He and Vexthra were no different. One was an unfortunate soul who, due to many heartbreaks, beca a goddess filled with hate and resentnt. The other was a handso young man cursed by the heavens at birth with neither sexual desire nor the strength to raise his dick.
"If you do this, you will be cursed with hate and resentnt," Vexthra suddenly said.
"I would take that any day," Kent replied without hesitation, sealing her lips with his.
