The first person to attack was Kaizo.
His fist was coated in golden lightning, forming a gauntlet around it. He ca down hard, landing a powerful punch on the ground, creating a resounding crack.
The buildings cracked in half, and the shockwave knocked many off their feet. This gave Kent a good chance to quickly handle as many as he could before the chaos consud everyone.
"Fractured Void."
The void opened, and thousands of sword arcs rained down on them. The core formation and sovereigns were killed on impact, and the few Spirit Ascension that were struck sustained grave injuries.
"Aetheris," Kent called out, and the fla giant fell from the sky and landed heavily on the ground. He took on his full twelve-foot height, so when he landed, he towered over everyone.
"Fla Domain: Chained Prison."
His voice bood as the fire on the ground burst out. Chains shot from the ground, latching onto the legs of ten spirit kings who imdiately lost control over their cultivation base.
"It is done, master," Aetheris said.
Kent gave him the mission to take care of ten Spirit Kings. Kent knew that his domain was perfect for this.
Because of Aetheris's perfect control over the fla and his natural affinity for flas, he created a domain with three forms.
The Chained Prison is the third form, which basically holds anything the chains lock onto for thirty minutes. Within those thirty minutes, if the chain even manages to latch onto a Spirit Lord, they will lose their cultivation.
However, there is one big problem with this form of the domain. Those who are locked cannot be attacked. It is a prison for them, and the only way to attack is if Aetheris frees them.
It is a nice domain skill. However, that condition on it is just too restrictive. Still, that is fine... The mont Kent handles his targets, he will co for the Spirit Kings trapped.
And he wasn't the only one who would be coming.
Unity, Velyra, Lani, and Lilian were locked in with a level 5 Spirit King. Unity stayed at the back, firing arrows at the Spirit Kings while her sisters got closer.
Since Unity was the weakest among her sisters simply because she hadn't awakened her true na yet, her sisters didn't want her to get closer to the chaos.
However, what none of them expected was that, while Unity was the weakest among her sisters, she was the one among the four fighting the level 5 Spirit King hellhound to land lethal attacks.
This made the hellhound angry, and every chance it got, it tried to get closer to Unity. However, with the harem connection that required no essence to use, Unity was basically using it to teleport from one sister to the next, evading the bastard.
Her lightning arrows were lethal. And since she wasn't really in any danger, whenever her arrow left her bow, the hellhound found himself in a complicated situation.
Lilian took on her fire elental form, which, inside this region, made her very powerful. Thanks to the natural domain of fire below them, she was using half the effort to unleash powerful fireballs.
Her fireballs were imbued with the essence of fla, so whenever they landed on the hellhound or he defended against them, the shockwaves hit him deep inside.
It was like a soul attack, but this was directed at the fla core inside the hellhound.
"Fla Serpent." Lilian waved her staff, and a large serpent made purely of dark flas burst from the ground and rose into the air.
The energy around it was scorching hot. "Get him."
The serpent hissed and dove at the hellhound, who unleashed barrages of attacks with his sword. However, Velyra was a step ahead and unleashed blood arcs that cleaved through the fla arcs.
The shockwave was trendous. With the road cleared, the snake appeared before the hellhound and burst into a sea of flas, pushing the hellhound back.
"Haha." A mocking, twisted laugh ca from the shadows where the hellhound landed. Suddenly, Lani erged from the shadows and stabbed her dagger at the hellhound.
However, he twisted and evaded the attack, even launching a counterattack. Before his blow could land, Lani's laughter filled the air again as she vanished.
In her place, a three-ter-long arrow appeared and landed on the hellhound's chest. It was ant for his head, but he managed to shift his body at the last second, so the arrow struck his chest and ca out from the back.
"And he bleeds." Velyra smiled, tapping into one of her overpowered bloodline abilities: [Blood Poison].
The coordination between the four sisters is just beautiful.
Kent moved through the barracks, now cracked and in flas, killing every Sovereign and Core Formation expert he saw on sight.
They were basically bugs before him because the strength coursing through Kent's veins was sothing they couldn't asure.
They couldn't match his speed even in his human form. His strength was monstrous, and while he hadn't broken the second limit yet, his power was enough to handle hundreds of Sovereigns and Core Formation experts.
The more he killed, the more soul essence he absorbed. After becoming a Tier 12 Soul cultivator, his [Soul Absorb] skill now worked passively.
This ant he didn't have to manually absorb the souls of those he killed, which then turned into soul essence.
Now it was automatic: the more he killed, the more soul essence he gained. After killing the 90th hellhound, a ssage appeared before his eyes.
⟪Congratulations, you have reached Tier 13 in soul cultivation.⟫
⟪You have received a soul skill: Soul Torture.⟫
⟪Do you want to keep leveling up or store the soul essence?⟫
'Hmm, this is the first ti I'm being asked this. I'd better check what it does.'
"Store." He gave his command as he continued to move. He didn't know why he had to store the essence, but since he could use it later, he wanted to see what else he could extract from it.
"Soul Torture, huh? Let's see what you're made of." Kent picked a Spirit Ascension hellhound who sustained minor injuries from his opening attack and used Soul Torture on him.
This hellhound's soul is just Tier 12, so he was an easy target...
Imdiately, he used the skill, sothing happened that caused him to widen his eyes...
"Damn..."
