Just like that, fifty years had passed inside the tower since Kent entered Selcusion. On the outside, two years and a month had passed. Not too long, but quite a long ti for people living inside the tower.
Not that they cared. Their ages advanced based on the ti outside, so despite fifty years passing, they were all only two years and a month older.
Kent, who had entered the Alchemy Tower to advance his understanding of the Alchemy path, sat silently, a deep golden fla burning on his forehead.
It had already been a year since he reached his fourth enlightennt. The plan was to gain only three enlightennts. However, Kent was swept away when he started enjoying pill making every ti he erged from an enlightennt.
The first enlightennt was on purification. He got to witness a true Pill Emperor purify pills. It was a srizing display that left him in awe. This made him fall in love with Alchemy all over again.
So he beca obsessed and started working hard on the purification process of pill making. Every step in alchemy is important. Not even a single step can be ignored.
However, the Purification stage is the point where the dicinal value of the pill is determined.
Without a good understanding of purification, a pill may appear 100% perfect, but its quality will pale in comparison to one made by soone with a good purification technique.
But it wasn't just about making a pill more powerful in terms of dicinal value... The Pill Purification stage can also raise the grade of a pill.
Most alchemists, like Kent, use ingredients that match the grade of the pill they want to concoct. Tier 3 ingredients will be used to create Tier 3 pills, and Tier 4 ingredients will be used to develop Tier 4 pills.
However, what Kent was after was taking Tier 3 ingredients to concoct Tier 4 pills; it was, in fact, not an easy task, since the purification process had to be very thorough.
Of course, Kent suspected soone like the Pill Princess would have the prowess to do sothing like that, so he focused on that.
Kent wanted to advance his understanding of that, so for two months he tried, never stopping despite the failures he encountered along the way... until he succeeded and entered his second enlightennt.
This ti, when he erged, his focus shifted to sothing else. It appeared that to achieve what he was after, his understanding of fla control and manipulation must be at the 'High' or 'Very High' stage.
Even with that, he would only be able to go as far as Tier 8 pills. This ant he could use Tier 7 ingredients to concoct Tier 8 pills.
He beca obsessed, and before he knew it, several months passed. Then his enlightennt ca when he demonstrated great understanding of fla manipulation.
Yet again, after the third enlightennt, another roadblock arose, this ti involving his soul fla. Understanding pill making is good, but having good flas is the best part.
Alchemy mainly depended on the strength of one's soul...So it wasn't surprising that he needed a soul fla. He was even planning on chasing after that one of these days. But now, he knew he must get it done before eting the Pill Princess.
So far, the flas Kent was using were all Legendary grade. Good, but not the best. They couldn't even help him concoct a Tier 9 pill.
After consulting the tower, he found out that to rise to the top, he must awaken his soul fla. He can use the external pill flas. However, soul fla is the best.
A soul fla is a spirit-grade fla that has no equal. Of course, it was estimated that every ti a soul fla awakens, it can be regarded as a Rare fla.
However, it can be nourished with other flas.
This discovery made Kent even more determined to awaken his soul fla. So he began, and a few weeks later, he entered enlightennt, but had yet to erge.
Thankfully, a few days ago, a deep golden fla appeared on his forehead, indicating that he had awakened his soul fla.
Two days later, Kent opened his eyes, a smile on his lips as a fla burned before him. It was subtle and quiet; however, the energy inside couldn't be underestimated.

"Can it even be used for pill making?" Kent muttered, looking at the fla burning before him.
⟦The current version of the fla can't be used for pill making since it is too chaotic. However, by devouring the Blue Void Fla and Purifying Fla, it will gain the qualities that will allow you to concoct pills with it.⟧
"I see. Then, in that case, why don't we do that? Devour both flas." Kent gave the order, and a few seconds later, a new ssage appeared, making him smile.

⟦The Quality of your Soul Fla has been upgraded from Tier 4 ↠ Tier 5⟧
Kent smiled and then lit the fla. This ti, though, he could still feel the stubbornness emanating from it; he also sensed the nourishing and purifying effects of the two flas he had consud.
"I still need to devour more flas to raise the quality to at least Tier 7. That will allow to concoct Tier 9 pills." Kent stood up and stretched his body.
"It will be a while before I enter seclusion for this long." He walked out of the Pill Room to get so fresh air outside. After walking out, he asked the tower how long it had been since he had last seen it.
"Two years and a month, huh. This ans I am now 21 years old. I entered seclusion a month before my 19th birthday. I'd better take the ladies out to celebrate." Kent vanished, aiming to go inside the Body Tower to see them.
However, when he arrived, only Vexthra was present. It was like she had been waiting for him, so when he appeared, she didn't wait a second to jump into his arms.
Then, after a brief kiss, she smiled at him and teleported the two of them to the Harem Tower, where a grand birthday celebration was waiting for him...one that will last for days...
