Chapter 670: mory Fragnts (1) [Bonus]

Many changes occurred when Kent invoked the True Nas of his Legion.

First, he finally received the legendary na for the dungeon boss, which is “Eternal Wrath Legion.” He had already suspected this because Vexthra had told him the story of the Night Riders, which ultimately led to the legend of the Chaos Dragon.

But it wasn’t until then that he heard the na of his fourth legion.

In this instance, he could call them his third legion, considering he had yet to officially invoke the True Na of any of the Soul Sentinels, which excludes Elsa.

However, from what he knew, the Undead, the Lost Knights, the Soul Sentinels, and the Eternal Wrath were part of the legions that ca from the future to defend the past.

And now that he had the official na for yet another legion, Kent beca happy. However, there was sothing else that happened that made him happy to so extent.

When he first t the Eternal Wrath Legion, he found out they didn’t have their mories—well, not all of them. Ankaara, the ice elental, had her mories intact, so that was a plus.

The 11 left; so had bits, but nothing concrete to tell where they ca from and what led to them becoming dungeon bosses.

But now they started to rember—bits and fragnts—but they started to recall their mories.

Skoggr, the Orc Chieftain, recalled his life as the chief of the Bloodmourn Orc Clan, located in the Yin-Yang Planetary Alliance, sowhere in the immortal worlds.

He didn’t gain much from the pieces he recalled, but the fragnts revealed sothing he must know about himself: that he was a powerful warrior and a father.

Rembering he had children and was happily married made him tear up. Kent could see the pain in his eyes as he recalled those mories.

However, there wasn’t much they could do now, and considering he didn’t know what had happened that led him to beco the last floor boss of a dungeon, they could only wait for more to be revealed.

Of course, they all began to sense that their disappearance and reappearance in the dungeons was starting to look like a betrayal. This was cented when Khaazal, the wyvern, revealed what he had rembered.

It turned out he was indeed a guardian of the Tempest Peak; however, he discovered a conspiracy that would put the Wyvern race in danger, and so he reported it.

He was fuzzy on the details, but he knew it was severe enough to report to his leaders… and the last thing he rembered was falling into the Demon Cave…then he found himself on the top floor of the dungeon.

He rembered just a couple of details, but he was already happy. With ti, he will likely regain more of his mories. Naturally, this was the case for most of them.

Nykali, the Shade King, also rembered that he was a cult leader of “The Forbidden Nightmares.” One of the many powerful Soulmancy cults in the universe.

He also recalled that he was only a few modifications away from creating the first-ever Soul Weapon capable of killing a Celestial.

However, the last thing he rembered was that he was accused of taking the soul of a Dragon Ancestor, and that led to many things he had yet to recall…

But one thing was sure: the Shade King was pissed.

However, he knew when to throw a tantrum… now was not that ti. But that doesn’t an he wasn’t pissed…

Still, it revealed so critical details that he could exploit, and those were “Soul Weaving.” He was not a soul weaver, but he had the ans to weave complex spectrals and weapons from the souls of the fallen.

It wasn’t just an overpowered skill; it was the type of skill that went much deeper than one might think. Now, he knew how to utilize his weaving skills much more effectively.

It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say he felt like he was betrayed. The mory showed that he was soone impressive, but at the end of the day, he was left with many questions that would be answered as more mories surfaced.

But he gained sothing valuable, and that was a profound understanding of ‘Soul Weaving’…

Now, when it ca to weaving, his years of experience had skyrocketed, and soon he would start making moves to strengthen his spectral army, because after recalling bits of his mory, he recognized how pitiful his army truly was.

Aetheris only recalled that he was the guardian of the Fla Keep, the sanctuary of the Fallen body from which he was made. He rembered the Fla Keep had five guardians, and he was the weakest but also the hardest working.

As to how he ended up on the last floor of a dungeon, he didn’t have that mory yet… but just like his pals, he also seed pissed.

He didn’t have the mory, but his instincts kept telling him his absence was a disaster he had tried for years to prevent.

As for Ka’zarak, the Savage Warden, his mories were of his battle with a Dark Wolf he wanted to bring into his fold.

Ka’zarak is a beast tar and summoner, but with an unconventional thod of taming. For him, instead of summoning the beasts, he was the one being summoned, and he had to battle them.

If he defeated them, the beasts would beco his loyal contracted beasts; otherwise, he would co back empty-handed. Even if he died during the fight, he would respawn outside the realm he was sent to.

Naturally, the true cultivation of the beast he fought would be adjusted to match him, so all the battles were fair on both fronts.

His mories were from when he had just beco an Immortal, and the Dark Wolf, Klopk, summoned him. It was his first ti being summoned by a beast several realms above him.

Klopk is a demigod beast, one of the most dangerous beasts in the 14 Heavenly Beast Worlds. Their battle ended in a draw, and Klopk chose to beco his companion to his shock.

He didn’t understand why soone like Klopk would want to beco his companion, but he had spent 12 good days in combat with a suppressed demigod and had held his own against him. That was a happy mory for him, and to his shock, he received his first true contracted beast.

He even summoned Klopk, and looking at the Dark Wolf Man who appeared with two short swords sheathed on his back, it wasn’t hard to know the strongest among them had appeared.

Even Kent felt the danger deep within his bones. But he was happy for Ka’zarak…

Unlike his peers, who received sad mories by far, his was a good one, and the reward in return was good. But there was one thing: Klopk knew what had happened, but for so reason, he couldn’t talk about it.

However, he knew, and that alone explained a lot.

And for so reason, Kent has a nagging feeling that these lost mories of his Eternal Wrath had sothing to do with him, or more like the incarnation of him that had ford the Eternal Wrath legion.

But since he can’t do anything about it now, things could wait. The Truth will one day reveal itself…soon.
