Chapter 746: First Hunt & More About The Sect
Boom.
The body of a large scorpion fla beast slamd into the ground after Cyran pierced its sixth eye with an arrow. A large crater was created where the body landed. Though not tired, the Eight-Half Elves sigh.
“That was the last of them,” Dorren, a handso young man and one of the four Half-Elves who would be entering the Fla Tower, said, sheathing his sword.
Kent smiled and jumped down from a tree he had stood on while the Half-Elves fought. All around the five-mile radius, there were seven bodies of fla beasts, the strongest being the Six Wooden Leg Spider.
It had already refined its core six tis, and the strength it packed wasn’t sothing the eight Half-Elves had expected.
Thankfully, they had the Princess to help tilt the odds in their favor. She had already refined her core six tis, and on the last—
Even so, she had to press on hard before they took down the spider.
Kent, who had seen the battle from start to finish, knew that if this was the finest of a suppressed race, then this world surely held so potential—one he could exploit for his gain.
“That was a good fight. However, you all need to learn how to fight individually against all odds and as a team,” Kent said, collecting the seventh fla spirit they had acquired.
“Arion, Cyran, and Helyra are already a team, so they were able to coordinate well, but the rest of you need to adapt. Of course, I saw the coordination in your last battle, and while it isn’t perfect, I know things will be different soon.”
They nodded, and Kent produced seven flas. He checked them all, but he already had aspects of every last fla they had fard.
The mont the Half-Elves saw the colored flas appear in front of Kent, smiles appeared on their faces, wiping away any form of fatigue they may have felt.
“You’ve all done well, so here is your gain.” He gave them each a fla that complented their soul flas. “The reason for having your own soul fla is the ability to inherit the aspects of the fla spirits you absorb.
“For example, the fla spirit that Madea is about to devour has an aspect of illusion. That ans the mont she devours it, the illusion aspect will be inherited by her soul fla, which will allow her to use it with her soul fla, and as an archer, she can utilize the illusion with her arrows.”
Hearing Kent’s words made them feel even more powerful, for as he had said, they were going to grow endlessly with their soul flas.
For now, they could only hope that by the ti they left the Fla Valley, their soul flas would reach Tier 7.
Kent had already noticed sothing intriguing — his Chaos Fla.
When the Half-Elves awakened their soul flas, he felt how hungry his Chaos Fla had beco. He only felt this hunger when he fed on one powerful fla while passing through the Core Region.
This hunger was like a call, showing how much his soul fla yearned to consu the soul flas of others. Unfortunately, aside from the Half-Elves that he planned to use as an extension of his influence, the others didn’t have natural soul flas.
But the sa could not be said for the sect.
Kent knew that, one way or another, he would soon be devouring more powerful soul flas.
“Let’s go,” Kent said, and they started moving. Their next destination is waiting for them with powerful fla beasts ready to devour them.
“So, what do you guys know about the sect?” Kent saw this as a nice opportunity to pick their brains on what to expect from the sect.
The eight Half-Elves looked at each other before turning to Princess Elowen, since she was the oldest and most knowledgeable among them.
She sighed and began to speak, “Just like you, I don’t know much, but I happen to have the privilege of being the daughter of a king, so naturally, I know so things.
According to what my dad told , the Supre Immortal Sect is the strongest in this world. He ntioned sothing about the Planetary Alliance, where many dium-sized worlds in the sa planetary system co together to form an alliance.
Of course, he doesn’t know how many planets are in this alliance, but he said that more than 50 planets can co together to form an alliance. Any less and it will be called a sub-sector alliance.
And this world is represented by the Supre Immortal sect.”
“You know, for soone who doesn’t know much, you sure know a lot,” Kent said, already thankful he had soone like a princess in his company for the ti being.
Princess Elowen smiled. “Well, I was desperate to find ways to save my mom, so I asked a lot of questions and found out about so things.
Unfortunately, to learn more, I would have to join the sect. But I know enough to say the Supre Immortal Sect rules this world. They are the strength, defenders of this world, and they represent this world in both the sub-sector and the Planetary Alliance.
They have the resources to grow and nurture talents. So, in case you think this world is boring, perhaps getting into the sect will show you more.”
“I guess I can’t wait to enter the sect and find out for myself.”
Kent smiled, knowing things were getting interesting now.
He also understood that the Hand was perhaps a small fry now… his focus should be on the sect.
Of course, knowing the Hand was planning to open the doors and unleash the race of the apocalypse on everyone was sothing he had to fix.
But hearing there was a much bigger alliance housing many worlds, he knew his horizon had to broaden.
‘I have been roaming in the wrong pool. If I play my cards right, my na will soon shake both high and immortal worlds.’
Ever since the Paragon gave him the Soul Universe soul technique, he had started to look for ways to grow stronger much faster. For so reason, he felt this soul universe was sothing he couldn’t ignore.
He knew that when it cos down to it, his ultimate trump card will be the soul Universe, and making it grow much stronger now should be sothing he wouldn’t take for granted.
If anything, Kent knew housing thousands of asteroids in his soul would surely create the right amount of chaos needed to handle the most potent threat there is.
‘Thousands of dium worlds, huh. It will undoubtedly be a wild journey. One I will rember forever.’
Kent grinned, almost feeling the chaos seeping into his bones. That madness Chaos felt was now a part of him, and he began to feel it.
If the leaders of the sect knew a madman was coming into their sect, perhaps they would do everything they could to ensure he never entered their premises. But then again, the Chaos Dragon cannot be held back.
One way or another, Kent would find his way into the sect, and if they don’t take care, perhaps their fear would be realized.
Soon, Kent and his team reached the second location the Tower had mapped and started their second massacre of the day.
