anwhile, Kent and Adina were currently flying toward the mountain that the tower recomnded. It had no beasts lurking around and was a good spot for a quick escape in case they were tracked there.
Kent first scouted the mountain and, after making sure it was indeed empty, he led Adina in.
"Rest for now. I will stand guard and plan out the next path." He took out a few fruits from his tower storage and handed them over to her.
"Eat. They will help speed up your healing."
Adina accepted the fruits but didn’t imdiately start eating them. Kent said nothing more and walked away from the cave.
He had already marked her, so even if she were to run away, he could easily find her. The only thing he was worried about was sobody killing her.
But wasting ti to convince her she could trust him wasn’t sothing Kent was looking forward to, so he left to get a good read on the map and find a way to reach the Teleportation Mountains much faster.
Back inside the cave, Adina kept staring at the fruits for several minutes before taking a Spirit grape fruit and slowly placing it in her mouth.
