Now reading: Chapter 874: Primal Chaos Core Formed from Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System, a Action novel by PenDrop.

"Shit... That was close," Kent said, flying back just in ti for the sweeping attack from the wyvern to miss him narrowly.

He moved further back, flapping his dragon wings as he evaded three more attacks from the wyvern, hellbent on avenging its husband.

It had already been 17 days since Adina and Iver left.

Kent, who had been working tirelessly on his core, aiming to form it before leaving the Valley of Torture, was hard at work, doing everything in his power to kill as many Spirit Lord Beasts as he could.

So far, he had killed over twenty of such beasts, with each battle teaching him sothing new.

With Iver and Adina not there to distract the beasts, not all his sneak attacks worked. However, every failure taught him a valuable lesson, so he kept learning and adapting.

Three days ago, Kent arrived in a region ruled by two wyverns.

When he got there, there was only one of them, so Kent used the sa old tactic to kill the wyvern. However, he underestimated the wyvern’s power, forcing him to fight a battle that lasted ten minutes instead of a few seconds.

But in the end, he managed to bring the wyvern down.

Kent took its core and left, only for three days later, out of nowhere, another wyvern started chasing him all over the valley.

At first, Kent thought it was a re coincidence; however, after using a teleportation talisman he had left in a safe place, he made a quick exit.

However, unsure of how, the wyvern found him.

That was when he realized the reason. The mont he killed the male Wyvern and took its core, while still inside the valley, no matter where he hid, the Wyvern would find him.

"This battle has been going on for too long; I need to end it fast." Kent knew better not to prolong the fight, so the only way out was to kill it.

Kent flew fast past the wyvern, then activated [Fractured Void], raining down a couple thousand sword arcs. This distracted the wyvern for a second.

But that was all Kent needed to use his sword skill, which he had planned on not using for a while now.

His finger trailed across the sword, then, pouring his energy into it, he unleashed a powerful white sword arc.

It streaked across the air and landed on the neck of the wyvern, cutting it off almost instantly. It was as if its defense was nothing before the sword arc.

Kent felt his body drained of all energy as he fell from the air and slamd to the ground with a loud thud.

He panted for breath, taking out Spirit Grape Fruits from his tower storage imdiately. He devoured them all in under a minute before he felt his body regain so strength to at least stand.

He moved to the core that had fallen out, then, using his weakened energy, he activated the teleportation talisman he had hidden in the second safe zone he found four days ago.

The mont he appeared in this safe zone, he entered the tower, leaving a marker behind. Two hours later, Kent returned, feeling better now.

"I will never use that skill again until I beco a Sword King."

This was the second ti using the [One Slash Kill] sword skill. The first ti he used it was when he was clearing the fifth level of the Sword Bridge, and back then, he passed out.

Now, thanks to his core almost ford, he was able to withstand it sohow. But even so, he nearly beca unconscious.

Kent retrieved 25 cores and put them in front of him.

"Ti to form this damn core."

He ford a hand seal and started absorbing the cores like a hungry tiger.

The more he absorbed, the faster it went, so the first core was absorbed within 30 minutes. But he quickly continued with the second, and soon, five cores were absorbed.

When the fifth core was absorbed, Kent felt his soul sea surge. He quickly entered it, and to his shock, the twenty cores left to be absorbed also appeared inside his surging soul sea.

"This looks terrifying," Kent muttered, looking around.

The surging red sea was indeed not a soothing sight. However, he stood in the air watching as it surged for a couple of minutes before a platform rose from the sea.

"The space is expanding," Kent said, flying up higher.

"Bhaal said the initial expansion will determine how much energy I can harness. He said the minimum expansion should be 1,000 km and the maximum should be 50,000 km.

I wonder how far mine will extend." Kent smiled and continued to watch the platform erge and the soul sea expand.

"1,000 km achieved. Now, let’s see whether I can surpass Bhaal," Kent laughed and continued to watch. Soon, the space expanded to several kiloters and continued to grow.

When it crossed 45,500 km, Kent’s smile blood. "In your face, Slaughter King."

He had clearly surpassed Bhaal, so he could at least brag now that the Slaughter King wasn’t there to intimidate him.

However, when the expansion reached 60,000 km but didn’t stop, Kent froze in the air and continued to watch.

70,000 km

80,000 km

90,000 km

220,000 km

"Holy smokes, 220 thousand freaking kiloters." Kent’s mind was blown away by how ridiculous this number was.

It was supposed to be 50,000 km max according to the owner of the technique; however, Kent was now inside a 220,000 km soul sea, and that alone was more than he could ask for.

But it didn’t stop there.

The platform that appeared also expanded by 100,000 km. From the center of the platform, a large orb—or more like a core—made of red and golden colors started forming.

It took several hours, perhaps even a few days, but it eventually ford, reaching a diater of 25,000 km.

At that very mont, Kent felt his body gain so much power that if he were to fight the wyvern again, he would probably bitch slap it to oblivion.

However, right when the core ford, the twenty cores in the air started to energize Kent’s body. He sat in a lotus posture on the platform, absorbing the energy into his body.

But after a while, he noticed that, instead of making him stronger, it was filling his mind with information on the current stage of his soul sea. It took a couple of hours, but after the fourth core was used up, the process stopped.

Kent took a deep breath, then used his finger to draw a few runes in the air. When the last rune was drawn, three large rings opened from the sides of the platform and started spinning.

Kent wrote a few more runes, and the three large rings reduced in size and then landed in Kent’s hands.

"So this is my Primordial Platform where my power originates from." Kent looked at the two rings in his hands and smiled. "I can even create anything I want from it, provided I have enough energy to sustain it."

Kent let go of the three rings, allowing them to rge back with the Primordial Platform. He ford a hand seal, and this ti, the cores moved and started entering the Primal Chaos Core.

"I need to saturate it before leaving." Now that the core was ford and he knew what had to be done next, he left his soul sea and stood up.

"Soul Map."

"Damn, looks like I will be eting you soon, Mr. Wandering Demon Swordsman." Kent saw the Wandering Demon Swordsman 80,000 km away, showing his soul map had yet again expanded, and this ti, by several kiloters.

"Back to the hunt."
