Lison City is a grand city of its own beauty and grandeur.

Miracle City is beautiful, calm, and serene. However, when compared to Lison City, it is mighty and exudes an aura of power.

Naturally, Lison City is the largest city on all of Planet Manelaus. Its size alone is three tis that of Earth, and Kent, who had just arrived before the 40 km tall gate, could only stand and stare at it with puppy eyes.

At the mont, he was clad in a white inner robe with a deep V-neck, layered under a black outer robe. The sleeves were wide and flowing, with white fabric and black geotric patterns near the upper arms.

Just like his sleeves, he wore loose black trousers tucked slightly at the ankle area and black arm wraps covering the forearms.

He had a sword sheathed at his side and wore black footwear that blended futuristic Earth style with fantasy and dieval cultivation world design.

Kent wanted to copy Jest’s dressing back in the day, but with his own modern take, which ended up quite well.

As he stood, people couldn’t help but admire his clothes. Naturally, it was a bad idea to appear that eye-catching; however, Kent wasn’t really looking to leave without making noise.

Since his quiet life as a Life Saint was shattered by the Cult of Wisdom, he could only focus on the next best thing, and that was to ignite what had already been the main topic of discussion before the puzzle incident in Miracle City.

The line entering the city was rather long.

It took Kent 6 hours to get to the front.

When it ca to his turn to enter the city, he had to pay ten high-level Spirit stones. Naturally, Kent expected more than that, but since it was cheap, he paid and entered.

"This place is like a whole world on its own," Kent muttered, looking at the vast land spreading as far as the eye could see.

It took him six days to reach Lison City after leaving Miracle City in his small flying boat.

The mont Kent entered the city, he started heading toward the best place he could gather information that his Enchanted Eyes couldn’t give him.

A few hours later, he ca to a stop in front of a restaurant where the traffic seed intense. People were coming and going at a steady rate.

Kent walked in and, as expected, was greeted with a happy smile.

He ordered his food and, like a gentleman, started eating while spreading the Soul map to pick up on all conversations happening inside the restaurant.

Kent had already signed up for the gory and weird conversations that he might hear from the mont he received the Soul map, so he didn’t seem flustered when he picked up on so rather not-to-be-rembered conversations.

Thankfully, he was able to block them out.

Eventually, he picked up on a conversation that piqued his interest.

Inside a VIP room, two people were having a conversation.

"I can’t believe out of the 11 teams that went after one target, only three returned," one of them said. Kent imdiately knew this conversation had sothing to do with the quest he had in the Valley of Torture.

After all, he killed 8 teams out of the eleven that entered.

"It is weird. However, I heard the vice leader of the Red Devils also returned. When questioned, he only stated that when they appeared, the target they were after had a powerful helper they couldn’t handle.

At first, I assud he was just ssing around until he revealed that even the Wandering Demon Swordsman was on the sa mission as them.

However, even days before he managed to escape, the target was still at large, aning not even the terrifying Wandering Demon Swordsman was able to get to her.

"It is very weird that a mission would demand attention from that maniac. But I suppose the one who survived was lucky.

I learned he even retired as a rcenary and decided to follow the Dao of the spear from now onwards."

"Good for him. To be able to return from a mission where all your teammates are dead is sothing that not many can recover from. At least he found a path to walk."

"I suppose."

Kent smiled, hearing about Iver, his mind-controlled helper who eventually beca sothing akin to a friend.

Kent readily ate his food and then paid before leaving the place. Soon, he was standing in front of a large teleportation platform.

"Where does this swordsman want to go?" the man operating the teleportation channel asked when he saw Kent.

"I would like to go to the Olive Sword Guild," Kent answered.

"That will be 2,000 high-quality spirit stones." Kent gave it to him and stood inside the formation. Soon, the man activated the transfer channel, and within seconds, the surroundings changed for Kent.

He appeared on another platform. The surroundings were different compared to the large and tall buildings he saw in the first part of the city.

"It is like a whole different city here," Kent said.

Unlike where he ca from, this place had stores selling weapons. So smithing workshops and a few cultivation rooms. There are also normal Inns and grand hotels all over.

Kent wasn’t found using the Soul map inside the city because there was no censorship plugin to block the nasty stuff.

Using it inside the city will reveal things he would rather not see, so for his ntal health, unless he truly had no other way, he wouldn’t use the soul Map in the city.

"Please, I want directions to the Olive Sword Guild," Kent asked the man controlling the teleportation formation, and the man pointed west of his current position.

"Walk 1,200 km that way."

Kent thanked him, and soon, he was gone. It took him a couple of minutes, considering he was walking very fast.

Soon, he appeared in front of a gate made of swords. At the tip of the sword sat an olive made of tal. Kent walked toward it, and when he was at the entrance, he was stopped by three guards.

"State your business," one said, looking at him with disdain as they asked the question.

"I am here to submit my mission I completed."

Naturally, Iver had already told Kent what he had to say should he appear before the Olive Sword Guild entrance.

The two guards looked at Kent closely, and then they waved for him to enter. ’Tch, a bunch of sword sages think they are better than .’

Kent also did not like being looked down on by a bunch of wannabe sword Sages, so he planned to teach them a lesson one of these days, should their paths cross again.

For now, he walked inside, and soon he was standing at the centre of a large hall where dozens of swordsn were going about their business.

Kent walked to a counter where he could see a lady handing pouches to the swordsn who ca to submit their missions.

’All I have to do is give them the head, and the mission will be considered complete, right?’

⟦Yes, master. Just hand in the head and the mission will be wrapped. The rewards will be transported into your tower storage.⟧

"How can I be of help, young swordsman?" the lady whom Kent sensed a powerful, profound sword aura from asked the mont Kent appeared before her counter.

"I would like to submit my completed mission."

"What was your mission?" the lady asked.

Kent smiled and flicked his hand, "Head of the Wandering Demon Swordsman."

At once, the entire hall beca quiet when they heard Kent’s sentence. Then their eyes landed on the head, and like pouring ice on them, they all turned pale.

The counter lady looked from the head to Kent, then back to the head, and back to Kent again. She repeated that a few tis before asking a question.

"Who are you?"

Kent smiled yet again, "My dear, you can call Kent Madson."

With that, Kent snapped his fingers, and his body turned purple, then burst into a quiet dust of purple light.

"Until next ti, you all."

Just like that, the mysterious Kent Madson that the entire universe was looking for had made his appearance in a jaw-dropping manner.
