Aaron, their main teacher, continued with his lessons.
"Who can tell the basics of the existing laws nowadays?"
At this question, most of the cadets raised their hands, but Aaron didn’t choose imdiately; he observed each one of them before finally selecting Nero for so reason.
"Cadet Nero, tell how many laws exist."
All eyes turned to Nero, who calmly rose to his feet to answer.
"Generally, there are Seven Laws: Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, Lightning, Darkness, and Light."
Every cadet nodded, thinking at least Nero knew the basics, but his next words shocked many.
"But I believe there are more laws—more than seven."
"Hoh! Why do you think so?" Aaron wasn’t shocked or angered by Nero’s words like most of the cadets; instead, he was curious and pleased to hear his student’s perspective. Most people in the world would assert that only seven major laws existed, never considering that there might be more.
Elteth chuckled, intrigued by Nero’s answer. From the archives, she knew there were indeed more laws, and she was sure Khione and others such as Lux, Adam and Blake were aware of this as well. She was simply curious about how Nero had co to this conclusion, especially since he didn’t have access to the sa information they did as mbers of the seven families.
Nero was confident that there were more than seven main laws primarily because of the nine stars in his inner world, each corresponding to a specific law. Additionally, as an avid reader, he had co across stories about powerful beings capable of manipulating space or even rewinding ti. This was the reasoning he was about to use, though he wouldn’t ntion the nine sealed stars—this was his secret, one he could never share with anyone, even if he fully trusted them.
"I believe there are more than seven main laws because of stories I’ve read about powerful beings traveling through space and rewinding ti. I believe that in the past, there existed laws related to both Space and Ti."
As so cadets were about to scoff at Nero’s answer, dismissing him as a fool for relying on fictional tales, they were taken aback when they heard their teacher clapping. For the first ti since entering, Aaron smiled, clearly pleased with Nero’s response.
Clap! Clap!
"Bravo! Brilliant deduction. I’ll award you 100 credits."
Imdiately, Nero’s student card flashed in his pocket, indicating that he had been awarded 100 credits. Previously broke, Nero couldn’t help but smile inwardly at this unexpected windfall.
"What?"
"Why has he been awarded credits instead of being reprimanded?"
So cadets were confused about what was happening, while others seethed with anger. Elteth shot them a glare before they could voice their thoughts; she wondered how they could be so dense as to miss that Nero’s answer must have been correct, or else their teacher wouldn’t have reacted this way or awarded him credits out of the blue.
"You’re so smart, little Nero!" Adam slapped Nero on the shoulder, while Lux and Blake rolled their eyes at Adam, thinking about who was really the "little" one between them. Always exaggerating, that guy.
"Silence!" Aaron shouted, forcing the whispering cadets to quiet down. Clearing his throat, he moved to the blackboard and began writing, jotting down the seven main laws before turning back to his students.
"Like Cadet Nero said, there are indeed more than seven laws. In the distant past, your reactions to his answer would have been scoffed at because the main laws surpassed seven, but for so reason, most records have been lost. So speculate this occurred after the Primordial War.’’
Most of them beca curious at the ntion of Primordial War but their teacher wasn’t about to dwell on this topic as most of record about this period vanished entirely almost as if soone took care to erase them.
Shaking his head Aaron continued with his explanation.
’’Nobody knows for sure, but let’s focus here. Research has shown that in the distant past, there were nine laws, not seven. The eighth law relates to Space, and the last law relates to Ti. As for why these two laws vanished and have never been heard from again, we do not know."
This revelation shocked more than half of the cadets in the classroom, as they had previously assud there were only seven main laws, never imagining there could be more.
"According to general knowledge, the Primordial Gods during the Chaos Era each represented their respective laws, creating our world and us, bestowing upon us their laws and blessing us with the ability to wield their power. While there are originally seven gods, it is believed that there are, in fact, nine. Although their forms remain unknown, scholars speculate that these nine gods are powerful dragons—each representing one of the nine original laws."
Upon hearing this revelation, Nero shuddered; the tattoo on his body began to itch, and the nine stars sealed within his inner world trembled violently. His ominous red eyes flashed with chaotic light, and a sudden headache surged through him before dissipating as quickly as it had co.
Aaron chuckled after seeing his students reaction. After hearing about dragons they beca curious, their eyes shinning like that of a child how had discovered sothing new, sothing interesting, who could bla them, Dragons are mystical creatures, said to be the ultimate Apex of all races, the beloved heir of the Primordial Energy, capable of wielding the primordial energy like a second nature. While among monsters there exist a variant of dragon such a Salamander, Drake, Wyrm or Wyvern, in fact calling them a variant would be an disrespectful but they’re the closest thing to dragons.

Author’s Note: If you really think the nine stars represent each a dragon co up with a na for each of them. I’ll select the most promising of them. Be sure to propose a na related to their elent for example Chronos for the Dragon of Ti.
I’m awaiting your suggestions! Let’s go Fallens!
