"AWOOO!" The Wolfman Leader cried out in pain. Its two eyes, once wide and round, were now squeezed shut. The arm reaching for Ling Xiao retracted as it desperately rubbed its eyes.
How could Shangguan Yutong, Xiao Lin, and Ling Xiao possibly give up this once-in-a-lifeti opportunity? Shangguan Yutong made a grasping motion with her hand, and a sword appeared in it. Dazzling Seven-Color Sword Qi erupted forth, viciously stabbing at the Wolfman Leader’s lower abdon. The Wolfman Leader’s body was tougher than imagined; the full-force strike from Shangguan Yutong, a Tier Two Demon Swordsman, only managed to pierce to the depth of the sword’s tip before it could go no further.
But the Sword Qi had truly injured the Wolfman Leader. Xiao Lin’s sword slashed at the Wolfman Leader’s arm, while Ling Xiao, seeing an opening, stabbed at the eye the creature was struggling to open.
*SCHLICK!* The narrow Fine Willow Sword plunged completely into one of the Wolfman Leader’s eyes. The Wolfman Leader let out an earth-shattering, miserable howl, its incomparable frenzied power stomping deep craters into the ground!

The group had a tacit understanding. They simultaneously gave up their siege on the frenzied Wolfman Leader and sped away upstream along the river.
Not long after the group left, several Beastn of a similar build to the Werewolves arrived. One of them, a Tiger-headed Person, saw the Wolfman Leader’s tragic state and roared in fury, "Mad Wolf, who did this to you?"
But the frenzied Wolfman Leader was nearly insane. Though close to exhaustion, it continued to roar and swing its arms, letting no one approach.
This Tiger-headed Person didn’t have much fur on its face, making it look sowhat more human. But that was just a passing resemblance; its ugly and vicious appearance was enough to make a child burst into tears on sight.
Gritting its teeth, it reached out and knocked the Wolfman Leader unconscious with a single slap. It then looked in the direction Ling Xiao’s group had fled, a trace of hesitation in its fierce eyes. With a wave of its hand, two other Tiger-headed People lifted Mad Wolf. The leader of the Tiger-headed People took one last, long look in the direction Ling Xiao’s group had gone, then turned and headed back toward the main force.
It hadn’t been easy for them to get out of Penzes Swamp. They were exploiting a ti-sensitive opening. If the Southern King’s troops arrived in ti, this large horde of Beastn would surely be annihilated on the sopotamia Grassland. Therefore, they couldn’t afford to waste any ti. Any human Adventurers and rcenary Corps they encountered along the way were to be eliminated without exception.
