Her heart was in her mouth when she heard his plaint.

The little guy shrieked suddenly.

When she turned around, before she knew it, a number of men in black camos and wearing face masks were already in the room.

“What’s wrong?” asked the man concernedly as he looked at the woman and the child in her arms.
“Ziming, it seems that Ping An hurt his head. He plained that it’s hurting; let’s bring him to a hospital quickly!”
She told him that at once.
He frowned and nodded upon hearing her.
“Alright. Let’s head there now.”
They prepared to leave after he signaled one of the men.
However, before he could bring her out, Qiao Jingyun started laughing madly.
“Ha ha ha ha! Do you guys think of leaving just like this? How’s that possible?!”
That laughter was so ear-piercing and terrifying that the two turned to look at the woman subdued on the floor.
“Let me tell you: The explosives that I planted here are timed and don’t need a remote to go off. Ha ha ha ha!”
Everyone’s face turned ugly the moment she said that.
“You crazy woman, what on earth are you on?!”
A man in uniform looked coldly at Qiao Jingyun, whose hands and feet were now bound, but the latter was uncowed and, instead, became even more brazen.
“I’ve long set the time for the bomb! All of you must die! Die! Ha ha ha…”
Her crazy laughter made everyone believe that she was telling the truth!
The bombs could go off any time!
“Leader, this remote is useless!”
Ji Ziming’s face darkened the moment he heard that.
Without thinking further, he quickly pulled her out of the place.
The special forces inside were not just for decoration and made haste to leave, too.
On their way out, these people asked the man for instructions on what to do with Qiao Jingyun.
“Since she really wants to die, let’s fulfill her wish.”
The man left these cold words behind as he quickly escaped from the building with his woman and son.
As such, following his orders, these elite soldiers left the woman inside and only carried the unconscious Qu Jingwan out.
Just as everybody finished evacuating, they heard—
Bang! A thunderous sound was heard, and the old building collapsed into piles of debris.
